April 2017 I bought my first car from Coleman BUICK, It was a Verano 4 door paid it off after a number of miles transmission started to go after spending over $3000 in repairs so Will Oese, Talk me into another one this time a Buick Envista, 2024. I don't lease cars I don't believe in leasing cars I like to own my car I pay my car payments each month I tried to do the maintenance through Buick would GM certified parts every now and then since I left New Jersey it has not been that easy I have been in Florida since September 2025 with my Buick well me and my Buick are returning to New Jersey before July and I will once again have their parts, body Shop plus car repair take care of my needs. I pay $467.83 a month That's a lot of money when you only get $2120 for Social Security it doesn't leave much money for anything else considering someone tacked on an extra hundred when I bought the car. I'm disabled without that car I have no means of escape and I have no means of looking for a job and I have no means of taking care of a 6 year old granddaughter So I'm very thankful for Coleman and my Buick car that's all I want to know is how much is a brake job because it is time for pads and brake fluid that I had replaced in October, Some people want me to get rid of my car I think they should mind their own business My Buick isn't going anywhere except on 95 from Florida to New Jersey at the speed limit and not more than that I'm a responsible driver and anyone who says differently is a liar! read more

Bought a truck from these guys 3 years ago. CPO, one owner, clean carfax. They printed me out a copy and everything. Recently I went to trade this truck in. It shows an accident (moderate rear end collision) on the carfax. This happened while the truck was in the dealers inventory, right before I bought it. They repaired it, didn't say anything about it to me. I would have never bought the truck if they disclosed this. A real stand up honest dealership for sure. Stay away. read more

Extremely Disappointed After Years of Loyalty - Stay Away from Coleman Auto & Coleman GMC I have been a long-time customer of Coleman Auto and Coleman GMC. Over the years, I've purchased multiple vehicles from them, referred countless friends and family, and remained loyal to their business. Unfortunately, that loyalty has not been reciprocated, and I feel completely disregarded and disrespected. I recently purchased a 2024 GMC Sierra EV, which has been nothing short of a nightmare. This truck has been plagued with problems from the start, including: Rattling noises everywhere Trim pieces falling off Headlight leaking water Bed cover caving in Running boards squeaking Keyless unlock system failing I've had the truck in their service department for nearly a month, and yet nothing has been resolved. The dealership's attitude has been beyond dismissive--they could not care less about my issues. Instead of addressing the numerous defects, I was told to "turn up the radio" to drown out the rattles and was essentially laughed at. To make matters worse, the dealership outright admitted that GM doesn't care because none of these are considered "safety issues." That is absolutely unacceptable for a brand-new truck that I paid a premium for. Every time I get into this vehicle, I feel stressed and frustrated rather than proud or excited. When Drew (the owner) was involved in the business, customers were treated like family, and Coleman GMC was the place to go for a Cadillac or GMC. That mentality is gone. Maybe they're making so much money repairing Teslas now that they don't care about their own GMC product buyers anymore. What makes this even worse is that I come from a family of lifelong, loyal GM employees. They are absolutely shocked and disgusted by how both GM and Coleman have handled this situation. I will never return to Coleman Auto or Coleman GMC. Neither will my family, nor my friends. But honestly, I don't think they care--they've made it clear that customer loyalty no longer matters to them. At this point, I plan to trade in this truck at another GMC dealer that actually values its customers. So far, Malouf GMC has been extremely accommodating and helpful, and I will likely be giving them my business from now on. One final note: Even Coleman's own service department has agreed multiple times that GM should have bought this truck back, but the GM rep doesn't care and management refused to advocate for me. This was my first time scheduling service at Coleman. I had bought my 2018 Buick Encore at a different dealership which was located far away from my residence. Having set Coleman as my preferred dealer, I was curious as to their service quality but had to wait until such time that I needed to schedule an appt. That day came today, 6/25/22. In addition to routine oil change, I also had a major issue with what turned out to be my battery - I effectively needed to jump-start my car every time to turn it on (no bueno). They had their service excellence down to a science. It was a well oiled machine. Behind the service counter was Nicole, she asked all the necessary 1st step questions that needed to be asked, then gave me an estimated waiting time. She actually gave me a couple estimates - which were dependent on hypothetical scenarios (e.g. "if it's 'X' we'll have to do 'Y.' If it's not 'X' then we'll do 'Z'). Ultimately, her original estimated waiting time of 2.5 hours was right on the nose The cherry on this already great sundae was that the battery change was still under warranty, and I had used 1 of my 2 complimentary service appts obtained at purchase, so my entire visit cost me nothing out of pocket. Rest assured, I will 100% keep Coleman Buick GMC as my preferred service vendor. And based on how this experience went, when the day comes I need a new Buick, I'm confident they'll have my business there as well. Kudos & many thanks! read more

I recently went to Coleman to get a free oil change that they sent to me for my birthday (Nice). Before I even told the receiving attendant who I was I was handed a piece of paper and was told I needed a front end wheel alignment as my right front wheel was misaligned. I asked how that could be as no one had even looked at my vehicle. She told me they had equipment that I drove over that indicated the problem. I looked for something that I might have driven over but could not see anything. I declined the wheel alignment and was addressed with serious negativity from the attendant as I would not accept any of the other services they claimed I needed. The attendant told me that my oil change was complete with a smirk on her face and said my car was outside in the lot. I didn't get more than a mile away from the dealership when the tire monitor on the wheel that they said was misaligned failed and I was unable to correct it by changing the air pressure. There is little doubt in my mind that the dealer did something to my wheel to damage the tps monitor as I had no problem with it before I went there for the oil change. I sent an email to Coleman outlining the problem and received no response. I will stay away from that dealership for any service or purchases even though I purchased 2 vehicles there in the past and I would recommend that others stay away from them as well. A dealer that gives you attitude if you decline services is not a place to do business. read more

I went in this dealership to buy a 2024 GMC Terrain. My sales associate was Jesse he seemed very indifferent from the beginning like he didn't care if he sold me a car or not. The 1st problem was very high interest they wanted 10.25% on the loan so I walked out. Hank the sales manager followed behind me and later offered me 6.9% on the loan . I agreed and told the dealership I would pick the car up the following day. My work schedule changed and I asked Jesse if I could pick the vehicle up by 9:30 am instead of 12pm . Jesse was rude and angry on the phone he yelled and said we have a scheduled to keep and don't have time for this. I called the sales manager Hank and told him that I wanted a new sales person to complete the transaction. Hank said NO then Hank told me not to buy the car or come to the dealership. So I wasted time and money putting insurance on a vehicle Hank and his rude associates don't want to sell me . This is the worst dealership I have ever seen and im filling a complaint with the better business beau .Hank Calls me back and think the matter is funny and joking about it. read more

T he only reason why I gave this dealership one star is because that's the lowest I could do. DONT EVER TAKE YOUR CAR HERE even for something as simple as an oil change. First off the customer service department is very rude unprofessional. If they give you a service advisor name Nicole RUN!! She is very nasty and tries to scare away customers who complain about their cars that they supposedly "fixed" I took my car here to Coleman Buick dealer thinking that they were legit and professional due to them being a dealership. From day one customer service was bad and rude. They told me it was my transmission and that I would have to come out of pocket and it could take months to fix due to the pandemic. Once the dealers realized that my car was under warranty they called me back and said they would fix it no charge. I was given a loaner and within 48 I was being harassed to bring back their car and that my car was finish after being told it would take months and would be 5000$. After that my problems started I've been taking my car back to them since November of 2021 it is now May of 2022 and I don't have a car to drive. They fixed my car 4 times allegedly the transmission. One day while driving my car it began to shift to park while in park. While driving the car with the gear in drive the car proceeds to go back wards on me while in driving on a major road. They told me that they would fix the transmission again but not my gear shift problems that have everything to do with the transmission and that it will be 930$. Then they said I would need my spare key I didn't have it at the moment I then had to pay 284$ to get a new key to "program" my transmission but the other 4 times they fixed my car they didn't even ask for my key so we can tell here who is lying . I've been going back and fourth with corporate and BBB please save your self time head ache and what can possibly been my life DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR PLEASE I BEG YOU!!!! I had a problematic Buick towed to Coleman. The first $1,000 "guessnosis" didn't fix the problem and was advised another $900 repair would resolve the issue. Not a guarantee in sight but I took the bait. When we arrived at $1,000 diagnosis number three, I had the vehicle towed to a local repair shop and there the problem was corrected for $500. Coleman took no ownership nor were they the least bit contrite about making lucrative use of their Magic 8 Ball diagnostic skills and flagrant abuse of my Visa. I have a 2022 GMC Yukon went in for a routine oil change everything was working perfectly fine no issues they filled all the fluids rotate the tires oil change when I leave I go to use my window washing fluid it will not work called them and stated it was working perfectly fine prior to me getting the oil change as they can see it was working because they had to fill the washer fluid when I took it back they looked at it briefly and said they would have to look at it deeper so I had to drop it off I drop it off after they look into it they said it was a short in it behind the fender it will cost me $420. This is ridiculous how is it that it works perfectly fine no issues or anything I take it there and it stops working and now I have to pay to fix the problem it's only 2 yrs old how can that go bad just like that there are things u can do to short something out which I think occurred but they won't admit wrong doing I suggest any and everyone find another place to take there vehicle to be serviced read more

I bought a pre owned certify car from this dealership that came with a carfax no accident reported. A few months in thru car check I learned that the car was in an accident. I reached out to the used car manager they did not take any responsibility and told me there was nothing they can do. I took the car back for service on numerous occasions the service people treated me like I was not important to them. Just a horrible experience with this dealership after all the charming up before buying the car they all went hiding when it was time to show up for me. Make sure the work is actually being done and not being written down as done. My head light got cracked during one of my service appointments and they never mentioned it to me. It was a super hot Saturday during Memorial Day weekend. I'd been out ALL day test driving GMC Arcadias. My 2003 Chevy Suburban, which I had for 15 years & love, was now tired. I was long overdue for a new car. Tired, hot and aggravated, I arrived at Coleman Buick GMC a little after 4pm. This was my last stop. Carl Prince greeted us outside with a smile & a handshake. He took me to the truck I already knew I wanted to test drive. The truck was beautiful! The price was already good, but I wanted to negotiate a lower price since I had a monthly payment in mind that I wanted to pay. However the dealership does not negotiate. I figured I would have to walk away from this beautiful truck. But Carl didn't quit on me. He took me to Ed Korenz, the sales manager. Ed worked his magic! I'm not sure how he did it. By this time the dealership had closed and we were the only people there. Both Ed and Carl had somewhere to be, but, stayed to work out the best deal for me. What great service & dedication to a customer! These two men stayed after hours to help me get a monthly payment that was more affordable for me. I was honored that they tried so hard to accommodate my needs. I didn't have a positive experience when I purchased my 2003 Chevy Suburban from a Chevy Dealership in Middletown, NJ so I started off my day being apprehensive about the car buying experience, but I said a prayer & moved on. I stopped by Coleman late on a Thursday night, about 40 minutes before they closed. Claudia was the salesperson who helped me. She was knowledgeable about the product line, took me through the offerings, and gave me some preliminary numbers. I was also greeted by one of the managers. I also dealt with this dealership about 8 years ago, but ended up purchasing another Ford. While I haven't ever purchased her I've found them to be extremely courteous and professional on the sales side (I've never used them for service). I only took the rating to 4 stars because it took a bit of time to get the numbers, which also prevented us from test driving as we were quickly approaching closing time - however because they have been so professional in their dealings (both in dealership and followup) I would return to purchase something (I'm currently holding for Lexus to return my vehicle). read more

Was in the market to purchase a new GMC Acadia. I walked in absolutely dreading the process. The dealership came in high regards by a fellow school and softball mom who recommended Chris Tandy. Chris made us smile and kept us at ease from the very minute we walked in the door. He walked us through all of our options step by step breaking things down for us and giving us time to think about our decision, which included 3 days with NO pressure to buy. He was extremely patient, really did the best he could for us and was extraordinarily honest, a trait you rarely see in car salesmen. We were about to drive away in our newly purchase certified pre-owned GMC Yukon Denali, paperwork finalized, insured, keys in hand, and as we were walking out to the truck to drive away- we noticed a huge scratch on the front right side fender/light casing that was down to the metal which we had not seen before. We brought the scratch to the sales managers attention and he immediately said they didn't know about the scratch and due to the price already being so low, they would put some touch up paint on it, but would not fix the gash. We asked they fix it properly as we were concerned being up north /harsh winters, this would leave a white vehicle with a huge rust stain/ issues in the future. Sales Manager Eddie started getting upset and yelling at us telling us to go buy the "piece of crap of Denali" we had considered a week prior, and that because of the price of this denali they were unwilling to put any more money into it and honor their CPO. They continued to try to redirect our concern which was this is a CERTIFIED PRE-OWNED vehicle in which GM backs and this was not brought to our attention ahead of time. Who inspected the vehicle and what else was missed? Shame on us for not seeing it sooner, but how did your team inspect this and certify it through GM? GM's website states their dealers perform a 172 point check list and indicates they check for ANY cosmetic flaws. This is beyond cosmetic as it's to the bare metal. It also reads if it fails a single point, they completely recondition it, OR IT WONT BE CERTIFIED. I brought this up to the sales general manager Ty Trill and he said, he's need to revisit GM's checklist as he hasn't seen it in a while, however, their dealer focuses on "other things" and he thinks I misinterpreted the checklist. He also mentioned they certify more vehicles than anyone in NJ which is not surprising considering they are obviously certifying vehicles that should not be certified. I truly wish it would have worked but because they honored a price that was an initial "glitch" (or so they say), they refused to honor the CPO and fix the scratch/dent because it would have hurt their bottom line and they wouldn't have made any money. Either 1 of 2 things happened here.. Either the dealership really missed it the scratch during the 172 point check, however don't you think if that were the case they would make it right and fix it properly? They flat our refused... Does not seem very ethical. OR their team was completely aware of this and tried to pull a fast one. The first time we drove the truck, the car was dirty- 2nd time- still dirty. 3rd time- requested a detail and car was shown in a dark detailed room without any light on. There is no way I could have seen the damage under those conditions. Again, shame on me for not looking harder. Long story short, we walked away and gave back the keys and I am in the process with getting in touch with corporate to ensure they know they are selling and certifying vehicles which are not up to the GM standards. The car is still on the lot, so please extremely diligent when looking at your future vehicle, even if they state it's certified pre-owned. PS Claudia was wonderful. She was personable, kind, and truly wanted to make us happy. Her sales managers Eddie and Ty were the typical car sales man and only in it for the money- not to do the right thing. They let this deal slip away and tried to blame everyone else but themselves and the quality of their dealership. read more

Unfortunately, during the Covid-19 pandemic, I was involved in an accident that totaled my car. This dealership is 2 minutes away from my house. I was very interested in new Acadia or Terrain. I love the way they both looked however, I had never driven either of them. I was car shopping for about a week so I know what it was like shopping in various dealerships and the way they sold cars and etc. Dealerships were very nice, most of the talking was done over the phone, I was able to test drive vehicles and etc. I called Coleman, with 4 stock numbers. The man on the phone was so nasty, he said he would only show me a car if I was 100% interested. He said "I'm not going to show you multiple cars if your not ready to buy." He mentioned the cars having to be cleaned and etc. Over the phone his whole demeanor was just rude and he sounded annoyed. I politely told him, no worries I will take my business some where else. My 2019 Denali Yukon had some electrical issues that were covered by warranty. From the time the 2 young Ladies greeted me as I entered the building to the 1st class service provided to me by Samantha, ,Coleman GMC/Cadillac/Buick is tops. Samantha came out to the waiting area 3 times giving me updates on my truck. All work was completed in a timely manner, keeping the waiting time to a minimum. All the phone calls and in person contacts I had were great. I will be looking for a new Denali Yukon in the near future and I hope the sales dept is of the same high quality as the rest of the operation. read more

I would stay away from GMC. First, I wasted my money on an extended "warranty" that two other GMC dealerships would not accept or recognize as valid. Now unsurprisingly the StabiliTrak sensor on my 2013 Terrain needs to be serviced for who knows how much. This is a problem GM is well aware of but won't fix the problem--just Google it--it's a big problem talked about extensively. I have car with less than 90k miles that won't drive now. What a waste! As a follow-up to my oil change review of one month ago on my new GMC Yukon Denali---driving the truck today when "oil light" comes on telling me to add oil immediately. Took the truck to an express lube and asked them to check the oil. Had about a quart of oil in the car and what oil was in the car was dirty. Proof positive that the oil was never changed at our first service appointment. Which btw- we pay for as part of our new Denali service package. Pretty shady business. read more

Two weeks ago, Coleman left the front windows of my car open on an extremely rainy night. The seats, the doors, and the steering column all had rainwater damage and there were some flimsy dry-mats on the driver's seat. The car was humid and smelled like wet carpet throughout. Now all the carpeted surfaces are "crunchy" for lack of a better word. I called the service manager at Coleman and he barely apologized, saying he would "figure out who did it." He didn't offer any discount, any compensation for damage, not even an interior cleaning. Seriously, if Coleman had shampooed the car's interior, I probably never would have known about the open car windows in the rain--it was because the Coleman technician poorly tried to cover up the mistake that now the water damage is irreversible. It was disappointing customer service on the manager's behalf. Even though my car isn't worth much, I would be very wary since they tried to cover up the water damage and then the service manager did not offer anything in return. read more
