I have been shopping for a car at a particular price point and shopped them all Toyota Honda you know what I'm talking about Walked into this place not being familiar with Subaru I didn't know they no longer made sedans. Brandon a sales mgr greeted me and I told him what I was looking for and at what price. That's usually a deal breaker. However he showed me a Impreza hatchback in red and it was the first car in the price category that had any style.Sat with Randy the sales man and after a few minutes of talking Brandon had appraised my trade in and presented me with a deal that was unbelievable Almost to the dollar of what my budget was I am now driving a beautiful brand new car with great features that are unattainable at the deal I got I shopped used and new and a new car with a warranty and all the bells and whistles I wanted are what Brandon and Randy put together Financial department was a breeze unlike most other dealerships. I was highly impressed with how this dealership worked hard to get the best value for my price range This should be the first and last place you should look at when purchasing a car in a particular price range read more

Love the Service Dept...I went in because one of my tires was flat, because I purchased the tires there a year ago they replaced the tire for free. Then I told him I would've gotten my oil changed, but I didn't have my coupon so Tim managed to make sure I got one! then they pulled it through the car wash for me so overall, I went from having a bad day to a very good one ,great job Tim Rother! read more

If you value your time and your money, do yourself a favor and steer clear. This place will waste your time more than anywhere other place on earth. Deceitful practices all the way around. From unmentioned fees to the whole charade of "let me go talk to my manager". Over and over. I couldn't walk out fast enough. I would regard most positive feedback on any website and mostly google as coming from their own social media team. Over the few years the lock unlock function of key fobs stubbornly, randomly & repeadedly dont work. Freehold subaru saw no problem. Front passenger window months ago wouldn't go up. Freehold subaru supposed repaired at a cost to me. Recent cold weather with a brand new battery of 6 Mos old rendered the car unable to start or boost. Not to mention the sub standard BS feature of coming to a stop, foot on brake & engine stopping-starting when proceeding? this is something of concern of being rolled over by an approaching truck in the rear of this 021' outback because 3 times when stopping at a red light the engine shut off and when proceeding, foot off the brake the engine wouldn't re-start & all the indicators on instrument cluster lit up, had to restart the car. I just thought I would write a review about freehold Dodge Subaru. I inquired about a truck last night online spoke with the girl Kim, which they were very persistent get me into the dealership to look at the truck that I inquired about the I received a text message. Am I still coming to the dealership today and I replied yes I will be there by noon time I got to the dealership around noon time and supposedly they sold the truck between 8 o'clock in the morning and 12 o'clock. I find that very odd and if it was the case they could of, had the decency to call or text me and let me know that the truck was installed since I made the appointment and I was coming from at least an hour away and to make matters worse Dylan the sales manager has no customer skills It's very sad to see people like that running a dealership. read more

PLEASE READ PREVIOUS REVIEW! After taking my car to a different dealership we ended up getting a 2019 Ram Rebel with all of the options for 36k out the door! BEWARE....Horrible dealerships. They sold us a car and then wasted 2,5 months to register a car. We had to bombard them with various requests to get them to move a needle. Very disapointed with my experince at Freehold Dodge & Ram. Purchased a Used car from them to later take to a mechanic and they raddle off all the problems with the car. I was told that the car went through a rigorous multi point inspection. Freehold agreed to fix some of the problems, and said the other problems were not actually problems right now, and they'll give me a discount on future services when those problems progress into real issues.... Fastforward to now, My local mecanic just told me, that the "Fix" that Freehold did was so cheap and lazy that, the fix is now broken off and rubbing other other areas creating more damage.. I'm ashamed that i gave my money to this company. read more

So I go over to freehold dodge because they are offering to buy out my lease to put me in another vehicle, so I'm going there the second time ready to make a deal but guess what there's no deals to be made manager is not willing to negotiate a penny off of anything so I ask whoever read this. Have you had the same problem because I know this is not my first time buying a Dodge vehicle was the first time that they were not willing to do anything to do business with me. I don't know about you guys, but that's a very poor business sense. I've never heard of that Presidents' Day. No cell no nothing. The way economy is right now. They must be doing really good to stay in business without watching on the price so they lost a potential loyal. Customer would've been my fourth dodge vehicle and if I do get one, it's not gonna be from them. read more

Overall buying experience was ok. I purchased a used 2019 Corvette. The salesman stated that the car had been detailed. It might have been run through an automatic carwash sometime within the previous week. The interior was dirty and the door pockets/console were full of the previous owner's stuff. I was also purchasing from out of state so they said that the tags might take a little longer. Well, my temp tags expired over a month ago and still no tags/registration. I'm now being ignored by the salesman whenever I try to inquire about the tags unless I elevate it to management. Then I will hear from the salesman with more excuses. read more

I have purchased three Rams, one Dodge Grand Caravan, and one Subaru Outback from Freehold Dodge Subaru. It's literally the ONLY dealership I go to. If you're in the market, make sure you stop here. Freehold Subaru - Brand new 2017 Durango in Bomber Brown! - Car Dealers Near Me - Freehold, New Jersey

I had brought my Dodge Durango in for routine service a few months back and when it was returned to me I noticed that when I got home there was significant damage to my front end. I notified the dealership and they in turn after looking at video stated someone in service hit another customers vehicle with my vehicle. They quickly fixed it but never even attempted to compensate me by even reversing the cost of the oil change done that day. Of course I was angry at the fact that they had committed a hit and run and failed to report the accident at all until I discovered it. I never cursed or even raised by voice during this incident incident but I did give them a negative review when it was sent to me. Today I went in to purchase an extended warranty for my Dodge Charger and was told by the GM "I am sorry to inform you that Freehold Dodge-Ram-Subaru will be exercising our right as an independent business to no longer services your vehicles. This is due to previous interaction with our team." While at service the GM, service managers, three service writers and another guy came to the desk, as a retired police officer I knew that this was a form of intimidation and felt threatened by the situation which in my many visits there was an usual situation. They then threw me out. Would not recommend their service, the sales teams were always great during my 5 or 6 total purchases. When they are wrong and you call them out, this is how they treat you. Apparently the GM did not like something I said over the incident, the owner of the store could not elaborate on exactly why this action was taken and stated he would call me back. As of this time no one has reached out to me to identify exactly what interaction warranted this. read more

My brand new RAM had a pretty bad vibration at speeds over 40MPH. Went to Freehold Dodge RAM to have it checked - after a day of "checking" they called me back giving an excuse that the truck's tires were flat spotted due to spending too much time sitting in the driveway. The funny part was when I went back in and listened to the service advisors talking to other customers - same excuse over and over in both Dodge/RAM and Subaru sections. Spoke with the mechanic directly - he said since you car is still under one year, wheels balancing is under warranty. I'll suggest we try it and maybe it'll fix the issue. They "perform" the wheel balancing. Well at least the invoice states that. I don't know if they have not or just not capable of performing wheel balancing properly but the issue was still there. All they told me was to call Chrysler directly to see if they can resolve the "flat spotting" under warranty. Called Chrysler - they said tires are not under warranty. Call Good Year directly. Fine, I call Good Year and their truly amazing customer service immediately sets me up with an appointment at a local Good Year authorized shop to have the tires checked out. The guys at a shop check the tires and wheels and tell me they don't see any flat spots BUT they remove the wheels and find out that all four wheels are unbalanced and one of they 4 wheels is sooooo unbalanced that it required road force balancing performed. Since it's not a tire defect but a regular service performed (which Freehold Dodge RAM supposedly performed) they charged me $76.And guess what... they issue was resolved by wheel balancing!!! Or should I say re-balancing after Freehold Dodge "balanced" them? I wanted to let Freehold Dodge RAM to do the right thing before calling FCAA. I called them up and left a message with the receptionist. My service advisor Raul calls back. Very calm and speaks nicely and tells me in a nice way that he checked with his supervisor who said they won't refund me anything at all and it's my problem. I reconfirmed twice that they want to have a complaint filed and negative reviews left over $76 and the answer was almost "do what you wanna do". Clearly they don't care for the reputation and I'm hoping this review reaches the service manager and the dealership's GM. Unreal frustration!!! Can't believe this service and claims that the work has been performed. Makes me question whether it was really performed or whoever did the balancing didn't know what they were doing??? Have all the paperwork to support this!!! Beware.... Off to file a complaint with FCAA... read more

Went to look at a "new to me" Ram. Sean Galvin was our salesperson and was a great help. And so was Jeff Padovano, the sales manager. Of course we had to do a little haggling. But that's part of the fun. All said and done, the sales experience was friendly and we have a great truck. Valerie Wildman in finance got us in and out quickly. I had to call the next day about a sentimental item I left in my trade. Everyone was helpful in looking for it without hesitation.
