I was so pleased with how my nails looked and they looked seriously rough when I walked in. I went with my mom and daughter. The salon was very clean, playing kinda adult movies with some swearing but my daughter has heard worse but someone who doesn't allow their kids to watch rated R movies might have been offended... I've had nothing but tremendous service here. My wife and I go here every couple of months. She gets a manicure & pedicure. Though I am a man... I admit that I get a pedicure any time my wife take me with her. The staff are all very polite and offer you something to drink when you first sit down. They've also got 3 TV's that they play movies on via Netflix. Sometimes they have the worst movies in the world playing because they just choose something to play. I went to Princess Nails about 3 times with my friend before I got fed up with the terrible service. I got acrylics, and one of the specialists recommended pink and white. I decided to try it, and they went to work. When they were filing the top of my nail so that the acrylic would stay on, the specialist started to talk to someone else and burnt my nail. I know this happens once in a while, so didn't think much of it. I let her know it was to hot and she took it off. She finished that nail and went on to the next one. She burnt that one too. Out of all 10 of my nails she. Burnt 7 of them. It was terrible. The nails themselves weren't terrible, except for the fact that 2 were crooked, and when I tried to point it out, she interrupted me and said she would fix it. I don't think she knew which nail I was talking about, and wouldn't take any time to listen to me. I left very disappointed. About a week later 3 nails had fallen off, and the rest followed quickly. I was not happy with this place and would not recommend it to anyone. Every time I left this place I was not satisfied and my nails looked terrible and didn't last. read more

They really take their time there and care about what their work looks like. I've been getting my nails done for a long time and am very picky about the style, color, ect. But I am very satisfied with the work done and how he cared about what style of nail I wanted (shape, file, length). The Netflix they have is pretty entertaining too :) not sure how one can be bored in there. they are very up to date on the style of nails they can do as well and I believe they have matte nails. This salon is close to my work, and I read decent reviews and decided to give it a shot. I went in, and everything started out well. I was immediately sat down for my gel manicure, and the technician went to work. I picked out a nice nude shade of polish. However, things quickly started going down-hill when I asked for a third coat of polish because the nude color was streaky, and clearly needed an extra coat to show its true color. The technician firmly said, "You don't need - it will look the same." I politely asked again, saying I would appreciate the extra coat. She rolled her eyes, and put on a sloppy third coat, clearly rushing the process (not making sure it covered the whole nail, etc.). She then took out a bottle of lotion, and said that since she had to do a third coat, I'd have to pay extra for the hand massage that is normally included in the gel manicure rate. I'm not confrontational, so instead of insisting she do the massage without the added charge (how relaxing would that have been anyway? Ha!), I declined paying extra and left without the massage I should have had. She also stared down at the receipt while I tipped and signed it, which felt rude and intrusive. After I paid, she took the receipt and just walked away without saying anything else. When I got back in the car and inspected my manicure, I noticed my nails were extremely uneven, with rough edges, and some of my cuticles were left untrimmed. I had to file and trim them myself when I got back home. I'll never go back, and wouldn't recommend anyone else visiting either. It may have been a one-off stroke of bad luck - but why chance it with so many other nail salons out there who actually value their customers, and have pride in their work? read more

DONT GO HERE! This place is awful! I went there to get a fill and replacement on some of my nails and im really unhappy. First of all it was gross with bugs and pieces of other peoples nails around. Secondly my nails look really bad, not only the shape but they are lumpy and filed crooked and the polish has bubbles and us just an absolute mess! I could have done a much better job with my nails! Sometimes I go here to get my nails done since it's close to work. There have been times that I have tried to stop by after work on a Friday and there was a long wait (they said 10-15 minutes but I knew it would be more like 30), so I left and came back on a slower day. Upon a recent visit, I noticed they had done some upgrades, including new flat screen TVs and a mural on the wall. It seems clean and overall nice. They did a good job on my fill in and finished up it pretty quickly. The prices are about average. The only complaint I have is they were playing movies on the TV and the volume was so loud it defeated the relaxing environment that one goes to a salon to find. Also, not that I have young children, so I dont really care, but the movies they were playing were definitely not kid friendly, and some people who bring their kids here might be turned off by that. Overall, a decent local salon. read more

I went in with my boyfriend after getting a decent gel manicure 2 weeks prior. He was getting a pedicure and I needed a refill. They asked me to sit in one of the chairs and started my bfs pedicure. After HALF AN HOUR I started to get frustrated- I was on a time constraint and his pedicure was already halfway through. I asked when they would be able to start my nails and they said the only guy that actually knows how to do acrylics would be there in HALF AN HOUR. So without letting me know there would be a wait they expected me to sit there for an entire hour. If they had told me there would be a wait for nails I would have gotten a pedi with my boyfriend and enjoyed my time. instead with no apologies they told me to come back tomorrow. read more

Yuck. I called ahead so I could get pedicures for myself and my 2 daughters and husband. They said they had room for us and to come on over. So we were there in minutes. They sat me first and started my pedi. They sat my 4 year old but not my husband and other daughter. Several minutes into my pedi I asked about my daughters and husband. They said a couple minutes. A few more minutes go by and I ask again. Still none of them are being helped. I started getting more vocal and one of them says its because people came between the time I called and arrived, really? In the 5 minutes it took me to get there? Finally about 1/2-3/4 way through my pedi I get up and announce we are leaving as I'm still the only one being serviced. I walked out with my family. A costumer was there and she got upset accusing me of trying to get a free pedicure. I didn't pay and I didn't think I should. But I thought I would leave that open for suggestion. Should I have paid? What would you have done? My nails weren't painted and not finished and I was very disappointed with the service. No one really explained how long my daughters and husband would have to wait, Etc. I would NEVER go back. read more

Came here while visiting the area. Nice, clean salon with a lot of chairs, and they have flat screen tvs playing movies. They also offer free beverages while you get your nails done. They have a decent selection of colors (lots of OPI). The person who did my pedi took her time and did a nice job, especially considering the fact that customers continued to show up every 5-10 minutes. Pedi was $20, which I find reasonable. Went here on Friday to get a shellac polish change because my usual salon was booked, when I arrived there was one person getting their nails done and 4 getting pedicures. I was told I'd have to wait which was not a problem. But then I was seated 3 minutes later. I asked how much it would be just for a polish change and was told $15 with removal of the old polish, again no biggie. The guy wrapped my fingers and left to do someone else while my nails soaked. He came back and started scraping off the old shellac which wouldn't budge, he then started filing it all off. This thinned out my nail a lot! He then went to shape them ( square ) and took off about half the length after me repeatedly telling him I want to keep the length. When I went to wash my hands I noticed the edges of the nail still had all these straggly pieces. I had to grab the buffer and do it myself because they kept saying there was nothing there! Their shellac process was no where near what I've ever has done, no base coats or previous steps before the polish. The lady who was doing the Polish was pregnant, and sick, and kept coughing all over the place without covering her mouth including on my hands! She put 5 coats of color on while barely waiting for each coat to dry. When I asked for a design on 2 fingers ( my ring fingers) she said " I no can do, don't have time, people waiting!" Uhmm... Last I checked I was a paying customer too! She drew three shitty lines with a nasty gold color which isn't even what I asked for and said she was done. With the " design " my new price was $25!! Will NEVER be going back!!! read more

I have been going to Princess nails for a couple of years. The owners are extremely accommodating and their prices are reasonable. This past year they did some updating to their salon. They painted a tropical mural, which is very pretty, and added new pedi chairs. I think the salon is cleaner than most and I have never seen any bugs in there. They have a cooler with soft drinks and water that they'll serve you while you're watching a movie. I'm happy with my fill and pedicure , plus they make you feel relaxed. I went here for a pedicure at lunch time during the week. I was told it would be a 5 min wait; can't be upset about that. They had me sit down in the chair before they started the water. Note: They don't use the tub liners. The woman who was doing my pedi was finishing an older gentlemans pedi when I was told to sit next to him. The staff doing pedicures wear gloves, which is appreciated. I guess on this particular day this woman must have been sick or getting over sickness as she was coughing, sniffling and kept running the side of her hand (including the portion of her thumb in the glove) up her face to wipe her nose. It wasn't just once or twice, it was about every 30 seconds and went on for about 10 mins but luckily lessened quite a bit once she started my pedi. Next thing I know, the gentleman screams OUCH! The woman looks up from his feet & he said to her "you cut me!" Now mind you, this gentleman was on the older side with terrible toe nails and seemingly very dry skin around his toes but still...she cut him. The woman says sorry then rolls her chair over to my tub to start my water and put her gloved hand under the running water to check the temp. Um, anything that might be on that glove just got rinsed into my tub & water. It's from ANOTHER PERSON'S FEET! It took everything I had not to get up and walk out right then. The woman stepped away for a minute and next thing I know the gentleman points to his toes and says "do you see that? I told you she cut me, now I'm bleeding". As he was saying this, the woman was walking back up to start on my pedicure, sees him pointing and just takes the towel his feet are on and dries up the blood. She gets him flip flops and walks with him to the register to pay. Again, I should have walked out. I was so uncomfortable. Unfortunately, I was on a time crunch and needed this pedicure badly. So against my better judgment, I stayed. Luckily, I can't say anything bad happened after that & the rest of my experience here became much more normal. Kind of like a pedicure from a place in the mall. A little rushed and not much effort but handled the essentials. The woman was lightly working on my cuticles (I wish she did a little more but scared to risk a cut or nic, I didn't say anything). She didn't put much effort or strength into the leg/foot massage and had me hold my own feet up for her to scrub them. Not that I expect them to hold the entire dead weight of my leg but she offered no support. She just had me hold it up completely on my own. I don't even remember if she used lotion anywhere except a dab on the top of my foot for the "massage" portion. She did a base coat as well as 2 coats of color but no top coat. And...that was about it. A $20 basic pedicure. A few red flags in the beginning but luckily, it all turned out ok. However, I don't see myself going back here unless I'm desperate for a pedicure & no one nearby is available. read more
