I have never done this before but felt compelled to share some photos , in order to sadly forewarn others. This was my first and last time at Bella Nails. I am not sure if everyone was given the day off, leaving just the owners , but the technical quality of the gel manicure was astonishing poor. The photos were taken just after I left. In some spots there are patches with no paint,leaving jagged edges around my nail bed. In others the polish is running over onto my skin - the errors are everywhere. She just kept layering layer after layer maybe 4 coats with very little time in the dryer. The polish looks very clumpy and the clear coat is flaking off. At the end I think she was trying to sand off some of the clumsiness, it was that bad. I was the only one in the shop with 2 hours before closing - and yet I felt very rushed. The manicure was done at the spa chair while my pedi was being done - normally that is not a problem , but she really seemed to struggle with it as evidenced by the end result. At first I thought it was funny, now I am wondering why any proprietor would be ok with a customer walking out the door with such low quality work?? By the time we were done, 2 apparent regulars had come in that drew her attention, so my leaving was a bit of an afterthought. I was too astonished to say anything as I already knew I wouldn't be back. Granted the price was cheaper than other places - sadly I guess in this case, you get what you pay for. This review does not reconcile with the glowing reviews on their Facebook page, maybe it's an ok place when their staff was around. I moved to Clearwater about 10 mths ago and ever since have struggled to find the right place, not like my old spots in Palm Harbor :-(. Think I am close to landing on one but any recs, I am open to them! read more

I hate writing negative reviews, but unfortunately my experience at this salon warrants one. I strongly recommend against getting your nails done here, I'm not even sure how they can call themselves a business. These people have no idea what they are doing. I went in to get a dip manicure and regular pedicure. To be fair, the pedicure went okay and looks fine (a kind older gentleman did the pedicure.) The manicure, however, was done by a different woman and was a disaster from start to finish. I don't claim to be a nail expert but I've had my nails done hundreds of time and I've never seen them done in such a sloppy, unprofessional manner. I wanted blue French tips to begin with, but my pedicure had taken so long that I kindly told the woman I just wanted clear dip nails to save time (not a big deal.) She fumbled through the manicure and at one point it felt like she painted super glue onto my nails. It was going so poorly that I tried to leave in the middle of the manicure- I figured I'd go get them fixed somewhere else, I just didn't want to waste anymore time here. She begged for 5 more minutes and this is how they came out. Unfortunately I wasted $50 on this atrocious manicure. When I asked further questions about the price and stated that I was unsatisfied, they didn't budge and did not try to make things right. I am never rude to people who are providing me a service, so I tipped both my technicians and thanked them for their time at the end. But I will obviously not be back. read more

The best pedicure and concierge treatment! My daughter and I had just the longest hardest week, watching a loved one fading away due to Alzheimer's. I wanted to do something nice for my daughter, but all the local nail salons were closing at 7pm. Then we found Bella and Nails and Spa on line. We called to confirm they were open until 8pm and raced to get there for a pedicure. The Spa is clean, peaceful and very professional. Amy and TV were amazing in taking care of our every need, making sure we relaxed, offered us beverages, and gave us top notch TLC! They both chatted WITH us, telling us pedicure secrets, sharing anecdotes about their family, and helping us forget all about the stress of the week. At the end of the treatment, we both came away extremely happy with our pedicures and more importantly with a new favorite Nail Salon. We will definitely make this a Mom and Daughter (and grand daughter) regular event! read more
