This was the day that my daughter and I went and got our toes done spent $110. She never asked me if I want them trimmed or cut down would not take my ingrown nails out and my daughter had the same experience and the owner came over and did her and grown at the very end never took the tool to clean out my cuticles. They were in too much of a hurry to get done and it's very unfortunate because I've never had a bad experience here, but I don't think I'll be returning. read more

I was a walk in and I asked if they were willing to take me and if not that was completely okay I asked for a French on my toes, didn't do that.didn't even put a top coat and I asked her when she was done doing my manicure "are you done with my toes she said yea" I asked if they did 3d flowers they said they didn't but I sat on yelp costumers who did have them so I picked a simple skinny French with a deep pink (as shown below) couldn't even do that. read more

I came in on 10/12 to get my nails done I showed them my reference pic of what I wanted they said they could do it and to choose my color I wanted everything as the picture I showed, the only difference was the color. They didn't tell me they couldn't do the details apart from that the owner joined in to hurry up the process. She was rushing the lady doing my nails. I would've 100% understood if they couldn't do it but they told me they could, i was one of the last customers it was 10 mins before closing so I didn't want to tell them to take them off, I work and go to college so I have a tight schedule, I was charged $100 and I left a $15 tip because I felt bad, I come back the next Sunday and the owner tells me she can't do anything that I should have told them then, that it didn't matter if it took time, but then again she was rushing the lady so I could get out sooner that day. I decided to go get them fixed before class the next day early in the morning and the lady at the other salon told me to come and request at least some money back, so I did and the owner told me to not do what the lady told me that it's a lie and she won't be able to give me any kind of refund. And she blamed the bad nails on the color! read more

Over a month after my pedicure at Holiday Nails, my toe is still crooked and painful. The problem started immediately after they cut my nail too close to the cuticle, and I believe their tools weren't properly sanitized. When I returned, they refused a refund and treated me rudely. Very disappointed. I wouldn't recommend this salon. read more

Honestly I'm very disappointed. I came here out of recommendation from a friend...and I'm so disappointed. I'm new to the area and regularly spend a good amount of money for a mani and pedi....dip manicure (most of the time with a design) and gel spa pedicure. And this time I was so so upset. I left with my nails streaky and and white alllll around my fingers that I have to take off with nail polish remover. My spa pedicure was it green tea, it smelled more like peppermint and even sort of felt like it...now if I'm not mistaken, green tea doesn't smell minty. She went really really fast on what should have been a leg and room massage and it felt more of like brushing my legs with hands. Towards the end when two more girls sat down, she went even faster on my nails, like she was just over it and done with doing my nails. I felt like I was just rushed. Honestly. For what I spent (a bit over $100) I'm very upset. read more

I couldn't find the nail salon, had trouble and called them so the owner asked what I was wearing and came and found me. Once arriving the salon was very busy but they were able to service me right away and I had an amazing relaxing pedicure. I'll be coming back. Thank you Hollywood Nails read more

I had a fill and pedi and eyebrow wax. I was satisfied with all services and prices. I will be back!

I tried this place on a whim and will not be returning. She made my pinky bleed and didn't say a single thing about it, not even a 'sorry'. The shape of my nails are uneven, and the polish looks rushed, with lots of bumps and dust in the polish. There was polish on my fingers as well. Manicure was only $30, but not even worth that honestly. read more

Service wasn't the best on the weekends. I scheduled for a 12pm appointment, I arrived and the nail tech asked if I could wait 30 mins . I responded no I can't ; what was the point of scheduling a 12pm appointment if you aren't able to fulfill my request. They overbook instead of giving each nail tech time between each customer. LeAnn was perfect , she did a full set French style and basic pedicure with white gel ! If you want to be in out within time she will be your best option ! I came in and sat at the owners desk, she left to go wax a customer that came in after me's eyebrows for 10 minutes. When she came back she put my thumb acrylic on TILTED and never fixed it after I said something about it being off. The french tips I got are see through and sloppy. THEY ALSO HAVE BUBBLES. I have never had such careless and inattentive service. Ive always had a great experience at this salon. Prices are fair, customer services is very good, and in a very convenient location.

These people charged me $75 for an eyebrow wax and a pedicure, after my tip I spent $90. $50 for the pedi + $15 for gel polish when my nail tech kept getting up from my pedicure to do services for other people. $10 for eyebrow wax and between the two services, a $15 tip. It's just crazy, $50 for a pedicure that DOESNT include the cost of Gel?? I could see if it was a $35 pedicure but to add that on top of $50???? Highway robbery. A full set of acrylics and toes WITH GEL would cost me $90-$100 anywhere else, it's just ridiculous. read more

Everyone there has a bad attitude, some of the ladies are a bit racists. I work at the mall and I saw one of my regular customers be completely ignored and mistreated. She took her daughter to get a pedicure and the women straight out just started painting the girls nail without giving her a message or anything. And when the mom told her "I'm paying for a pedicure" the women ignored her twice keep in mind she was sitting right next to her. My friend went there and she got an infection on her toe and they've cut myself and others multiple times when putting acrylics on. And policy is that when someone gets cut and is bleeding you need to stop everything and sanitize the area but they just wipe it up and continue working. I wouldn't go there. There are a bunch of other places that cost the same and actually provide good service. read more

I am never disappointed when I leave Hollywood Nails' Salon. Pedicures are delightful while sitting in their massaging chair. They have a menu of different types; Aloe (my favorite) Rose, Green Tea, to name a few. Each one as good as the next. They serve you a beverage and you walk out on a cloud when they are done. I always get gels for my nails...Tony is outstanding! After being spoiled all my life in NJ, Hollywood Nails steps up to the plate. read more

My friend and I went here to get pedicures on a Friday night. This place wasn't too busy so we had no wait. Very clean establishment, and they are running everything through an autoclave. They have those comfy massage chairs and offer you a beverage once you sit. Everyone was polite, and we thought the prices were very reasonable (they have a menu of services for you to review). I have challenging toenails and they did a beautiful job. I would go here again. read more

My spouse had a very bad experience. She paid $30 for a pedicure. The lady was in a hurry the entire time and was more interested in wrapping up and this was not even during their busy time. $17 for a sport manicure. That was apparently with a $5 discount. No one acknowledged me when I walked in. There was one tech giving manicure. The rest of the staff was either having one of the staff members straighten their hair or sitting on their cell phones. They called for someone in the back. She did an ok job. She also took an unsanitary cuticle cutter from a carrying pack that she had in her desk and tried to you that instead of the one from the sterilized pouch. Is that not a red flag or what? Don't look up. The ceiling tiles are disgustingly filthy and you will regret your decision of having gone here. I did. read more

Located inside Countryside Mall, upstairs near JCPenny. They have a variety of Nail and Waxing Services. I was surprised to see the number of manicure/pedicure stations that they have, but the inside of the store is pretty old and nothing exciting. The nail technicians were friendly enough, but they did not have the greated nail polish choices (Not that many OPI and China Glaze, which are my favorites). A manicure/pedicure was $30. I have had the manicure about 2 days and some of the polish is already coming off on the sides (probably something to do with the kind of base and top coat that they use). I am continuing my quest for a new nail place..... read more

They are located at the lower level side entrance on the 580 side of the JC Penny end of the mall. Not upstairs like that other review says. Love this place. Been going here for 4 years. Susan is the best for mani/pedi. All the girls there have great experience and are very kind. Their pedicure's are usually $20 the entire summer and the mani/pedi is $30. But the deluxe services are AMAZING! Citrus pedicure is more than worth the $40! My calves and feet were soft for a month! read more

These negative reviews don't reflect my experiences there at all. I walked in out of convenience a little over a year ago, and have made it my regular go to spot now, even when I'm not otherwise shopping in the mall. In fact, I was just there yesterday, and had another good experience. I'm not going to say it's anything fancy or spectacular. It's your usual nail shop with the usual prices. But they do keep it very clean and organized. The staff is pretty consistent, it doesn't seem like there is too much turn over. I've never had them be pushy about upselling services. I usually just get the regular pedicure and that's it and they respect that. The polishes I've gotten have always stayed on for a decent amount of time. Sure, they're not perfect, no place is. But the service I've always gotten there has been pretty dang good. read more

Great service and great place to be pampered. Ask for Su Ann or Susan. They are really good with my problem feet.

This place has gone to complete sh-t. I got a full set and a few days later 2 nails fell off... then 2days after that more nails fell off.. and lynn the lady who did them the first time just happens to never be there whenever I call about my nails . And the "manager" is a complete rude bitch when I called the 2nd time. I only had my nails on a total of 6 days and every single one of them fell off and she sat there and argued with me about how many days it's been. Never in my life have I ever had every single nail fell off ... not to mention she rushed me out of there the first day she did my nails. I will never go back there and reporting them anywhere I can. I downloaded the Yelp app for the sole purpose of warning people about this place. I've been a patron of nail salons for over 25 years. THIS IS BY FAR THE WORSE NAIL SHOP I HAVE EVER BEEN TO IN MY LIFE! My pedicure was atrocious - polish on cuticles, no top coat, etc. There was almost more white than pink on my "pink and white" full set. I tried several times to explain what I wanted - To no avail. I was only a visitor to Clearwater - but was desperate for nail services, so I let them finish and got the heck out of there! I pray that I don't contract an infection. If I could give them zero stars, I would!!! read more

I am giving a 1 start , however to be honest I wanted to give them a 0 star. I have never experience such a bad service, I should have known when I saw that hardly no customers where in the salon on a such busy time of the year. The tech was rude I paid $31.00 for a fill and gel nail polish and she hurt my cuticles and shaped my nails horribly. I will never walk in there again, if you don't like your job don't work there. read more

Just left Hollywood after getting the worst pedi ever. I've been here many times in the past but I may have to reconsider my next visit. Usually the ladies are very nice but the one called over to work on me CLEARLY wasn't in the mood. I smiled, said "hello", she rolled her eyes. Not a great start. She tried pushing the pricier treatments but I didn't have the time. "You like Deluxe?" No. After she trimmed my nails, she started aggressively digging in the side of my nails. I couldn't help but jerk and she told me to be still. How about you stop stabbing me in the toes! She scrubbed the bottoms of my feet with the pumice and then immediately applied the lotion to begin the massage portion. She didn't even rinse my feet. So I got a massage with my dead skin mixed in! Seriously, barf! Granted, I told her I was short on time, but I felt like that was the fastest pedi ever. The color looks great and it's not messy but I didn't have a chance to relax and enjoy it. Bummer. read more

This place is the worst. It's like a retirement village for pedicurists, they are all ancient and need to retire. I got one of the worst pedicures of my life here - the callus treatment consisted of her scratching at my heel w her thumb nail. She had to take off and re-do my polish 2ce. Do not go here, even if you think it won't be too bad to pop in for a quick pedi. My toes are a mess And I'll have to get a new one anyways. read more

Update: several days later and the gel coating is peeling and crumbling off several nails. Horrible, just horrible. And to be fair, they used the same polish on my toes as my acrylics. Not sure how my toes were fine but nails were jacked up. I've been to this place several times since it's next to my eyebrow threading salon. Every time I've been there, I've had a problem. Doesn't matter what day of the week (or time) it is, they can never do two services without you having to wait a long time in between. The same old guy (Tran) has done my fill ins. In over 25 years of getting my nails done, he is by far the SLOWEST technician I have ever been to. He has no clue how to use the filing drill without burning the natural nail where the acrylic grew out (8 out of 10 nails were burned). He didn't speak much English and nervously chuckled each time he burned me and I jerked my hand back. He took 30 minutes to polish my nails and even after curing them with UV light, they were still tacky and they smudged as soon as I got in the car. Very clean salon, friendly staff and cheap prices which is why I gave them one star. HOWEVER, I will never go back. read more

I'd gone to this salon several times before for pedicures and the experience was okay, but the last time I went (10/24/12) was so horrible, that I've vowed to never come back. First of all, this place is in desperate need of a refurbishment, as everything looks run down and dingy. In fact, the pedicure chair I was placed in was broken- the arm rests wouldn't stay up and the remote did not work. The women who did my nails did not have a firm grasp on English, which is okay, but it made communication very difficult. However, I do think this was the first time she had ever done a pedicure in her life. She did not put on rubber gloves, even though all the other techs around me were wearing them. When she began to use a cuticle clipper on my feet, she was very rough and came close to drawing blood., but I sucked it up. Then, she wanted to use a callus shaver, which I would have been gung-ho for, except for the fact that the tool had clearly not been sanitized. Actually I'm pretty sure none of the tools used on me had been sanitized properly. I could see "wear and tear" (aka dead skin) on this shaver. EW! I had to tell the tech five times "No thank you, I won't be using that this time." before she understood. Finally, it came time for the polishing. Again, the tech did not seem to know what she is doing. She kept messing up and getting polish everywhere. I then watched her put six goopy layers of polish on one of my big toes before I asked her if she could possibly redo it, since there's no way that much polish would dry normally and would be ruined the minute I walked out the door. She then blamed the polish (it was a metallic OPI shade) and I told her I would be more than willing to pick out a new color if she could redo it. The tech immediately changed her story, saying it was my nails' fault (what?!). After I asked one more time, she would only agree to redo that one nail, not the whole shebang. Mind you, this whole exchange took around 10 minutes because the communication barrier was so bad. I thought my nightmare was almost over, and then she started blowing on my nails. Yes, rather than having me move towards a fan, she used her mouth to BLOW on my toes. I could not get out of that place fast enough. I hated to be "that person" who complained throughout the pedi, but I've honestly never had such horrible service in my life. The worst part was when I was struggling to communicate with my nail tech. None of the other women who worked there tried to step in and help her understand what I was saying, or vice versa. They just watched. All in all, this place is extremely unsanitary and I highly doubt the tech who worked on me was licensed. The health department should shut Hollywood Nails down. read more

Freaking awful. I got a manicure and it took the lady an hour. She had polish all over my hands. She couldnt do a simple design of lines. I just said something simple with lines. She did it 4 times halfway wiping it off each time. I was pissed to say the least. It was horrible! read more

I was on vacation and decided to get a french shellac gel nails and a pedicure. The lady did an ok job, not great. I left and 2-3 hours later that same day, I noticed the shellac gel already coming off on 4 of my nails. I did not do anything harsh with my nails. I drove back and requested a refund but was refused. They said their policy is no refunds but they offered to fix it. I explained to them that this is not me being picky this is actually unacceptable service. I reluctantly decided to spend another 40 min in the salon to get them fixed. Not even 24 hours later, half of my nails are already chipped off where the white is. I am not even going to bother going back here again to try to fix it for the third time.
