In preparation for my birthday celebration it was time to get my nails done. TC Nails is in a plaza that I pass almost daily so instead of going out of my way, I decided to stop here and give them a try. The place was decorated for the holidays so made everything looked very festive. I didn't have to wait too long to get my feel soaking in a hot bowl of water and relax. Even though the place was pretty busy, I didn't feel like the staff was rushing through the process which sadly way too often I feel at nail salons. Did a great job on my gel pedicure felt pricey though for the quickness of it at $50. Also for my mani asked for dip many times and they tried giving me gel or acrylic. She didn't fix my cuticles. I then asked for designs on my nails and she said it wouldn't look good. This was for my bachelorette. Wanted something special and got plain. Def overpaid and having to argue to get what I wanted. Best pedi I have had in a looong time. They are taking every precaution agains Covid. Chairs are cleaned, mask and sanitizer is required AND they have a shield between you and the technician. It feels 100% safe - much better than I have seen at any other salon. I got the regular pedi and it lasted 45 minutes! She did a really nice job. I will be back here many times. Me and my boyfriend went he got a pedicure and I got a full set of acrylics, he acrylics were done amazing but the lady that did my nail polish was horrible! She never cured me under a lamp and had me dry with fans, couldn't do a simple 3 dots to shape a Mickey Mouse and was extremely rude when I accidentally hit one of the fans when I was giving my hand to her and messed up a nail that wasn't dry, she also put so many layers on my nail and not letting them dry so they were ruined before I even walked out the door! 2nd time getting my nails done here (pedicure). I usually don't get my nails done at all but figured I should for my sisters baby shower. First time was okay figured I'd try it out again. Paid $70.00 for a pedicure which chipped after 4 days and my nails were cut crooked. On top of it my cuticles were not cleaned up and callus remover wasn't used so my feet were not soft. $70.00 for something I could've done at home. CONSISTENTLY GOOD EVERY TIME! My eyebrows, nails and overall experience. I'm one of those girls that only gets her maintenance done when I travel or have an event, so I don't have a specific person I see. So to say it's a good experience every time with each associate speaks volumes. They are so nice, make it a point to say your name and honestly my favorite part is the cheesy Netflix movies they play to make the time go by! Can I give a zero star review? Oh no, I can't. I made appointments for my daughter to prepare for her first high school dance. It was quite a Mother-daughter fun day. TC Nails ruined it for us. First, the waxing caused her to have large welts/hives on her face. Second, she had an appointment for a manicure and pedicure. They asked a non-paying teenager for an upgrade to her services. They did not ask the paying adult and, yet, required payment for a service that was not requested. I will NEVER go back to this salon and I advise anyone that would like to receive information on the salon to not go to this salon either. There was no apology or discount or admission of their fault in asking a young teen rather than her adult parent who was sitting in the waiting area and fully available to advise on the request for an upgrade to the services. read more

I took my mom to get a pedicure since I'm finally working and wanted to treat her to something nice, and we were early to our appointment and they were able to get us seated right away. They were patient with us when deciding what pedicure we wanted. I spiced up the day with a paraffin treatment and my feet have never been more soft. I love the French I pedicure I got, and I kept telling my mom I understood why this place has 4.5 stars on here. Definitely coming again since they took their time and didn't rush through the process of getting us in and out. It's interesting that I received a response to my review from Tony, the owner, just now...he wrote I had my nails originally done somewhere else AND then had asked a tech to remove the dip gel nails at his salon....ah no!!!! I haven't gone anywhere else in the 3 years I have been in Florida!!! As a matter of fact, Tony was the original nail tech... I was in Oldsmar and needed a gel manicure and pedicure, and my boyfriend wanted a pedicure as well. We read yelp reviews and Lee's came up first with 4.5/5 stars. My experience at Lee's was an interesting one to say the least. During more than half of my time there, a child (workers son?) was in the back yelling at a game which really destroyed the relaxation. Once I left, my gel manicure turned an odd yellow color and looks really bad and has been getting worse with time. My pedicure has chipped after less than a week, when usually I can go almost 3 weeks without a problem. They also charged the same amount for a pedicure with nail polish as one without nail polish, which was $23. The prices were not posted anywhere and they told different customers different prices. Definitely will not be coming back, don't let the yelp review fool you!!! read more

While this place is clean, however I asked for one type of pedicure (a deluxe and higher priced one) multiple times and they gave me the basic. I guess they didn't want my money. Service was okay at best, but the fact that they didn't listen really bothered me. The color selection was limited if you don't want gel or dip. I won't be returning. read more

Wonderful! Lee and Hon know their nails. They do great work. I have been going to Lee's for over 4 years now. Her salon is the best for manicures, pedicures, gel nails, acrylic nails, and waxing. I mostly get acrylic nails there and they STAY on ive been to other salons out of town and the nails pop off after a week but not at Lee's im typing with acrylic right now and the last fill i got was over a month ago and they still look like they just got done.
