They "Quote You at a certain price and then when you get there they try to up the price by $15 every time I went there and not that I normally care on how much they cost but when you tell me something over the phone and you Change it every time I get there and I don't like that plus I have my kid with me and you try to make me look stupid because you told me one price and then I get there and it's an extra 20 I don't think that that is OK next time just tell me over the phone and I'll go to a place that's closer to me that cost the same price not only that after I told the guy that he gave me a price over the phone his wife got mad and he did a really bad job on my hands this is for graduation and for my daughter's birthday so thank you for making my experience so great I will never be back and shame on both of you for being so greedy read more

I went here because it had all 5 star reviews, and as much as I hate to give a bad review to a small business, people deserve to know the truth about this place. I went in for a pedi, and the guy giving it to me filed a few of my toe nails, then used the same file and started filing his own fingernails with it, then went back to filing my toes! Gross! Can I at least get the illusion of cleanliness?? He also used the dremel took to smooth my nails (never had this done on my feet before, it wasnt gel or anything), he CUT my big toe with it because he was all around on the skin too. AND he got up in the middle of polishing my toes to use the bathroom. There was no sign of handwashing!! Instead of one star and paying for his service, I should be calling the better business bureau! I'm really grossed out and will not be going back! IGNORE THESE GLOWING REVIEWS! Based on the reviews, I decided to try this place. I called ahead of time since I know most places are busy over the weekend. I specifically asked the man that I spoke with how long the wait is. He said there is no wait at this time. Ten minutes later, I arrived, to find out the wait is about 30 mins long. I asked why he said otherwise on the phone, and all she said is "sorry". Gel nails that LAST!! I finally found my spot. I had a problem with gel never lasting... I was lucky if I got two weeks out of them before they started peeling up on the edges. Techs before had told me I probably wash my hands too much... obviously I'm not going to stop doing that. When I told Kevin what they said he LAUGHED. He said it has nothing to do with washing my hands and all about the expertise of the tech. And what do you know... my gel lasted over 3 weeks with him!!! I'm so happy I found him :) read more

My nails are very thin but Kevin knew just what to do and they easily last 3 weeks, I could probably push it to 4 weeks. I have been to Diamond Nails a few times over the past two years. At first, I liked it otherwise I would not have returned. However, it has been going downhill. In the summer, they leave the back doors open, making it unbearably hot in the salon. So, I stopped going in the summers. After my last visit, I won't be returning ever. The male co-owner did my pedicure. He used the Dremel tool on my big toes. As another customer stated in a review, he cut my toe! The skin around my toe began bleeding! He didn't even apologize. I don't even know why he felt the need to use it in the first place b/c that toe isn't thick or anything. Now I'm worried the toe nail will have bruising under it and fall off. Also, the nail is constantly sore and keeps feeling like it is ingrown. My nails like pretty, but the pedicure wasn't worth the pain. read more

Would not recommend going here. I found out that they use MMA in their acrylic nails from a licensed nail tech. this chemical in banned in salons and is proven to cause cancer, miscarriage, respiratory problems etc. i wouldn't write a bad review for no reason. i just feel like people should know for their health. and this isn't a competitor just someone who was shocked to find out that you use this product when i had a previous set removed the nail tech said it was very obvious you were using MMA due to the sticky consistency of the acrylic. read more
