This place is a joke. They "Quote You at a certain price and then when you get there they try to up the price by $15 every time I went there and not that I normally care on how much they cost but when you tell me something over the phone and you Change it every time I get there and I don't like that plus I have my kid with me and you try to make me look stupid because you told me one price and then I get there and it's an extra 20 I don't think that that is OK next time just tell me over the phone and I'll go to a place that's closer to me that cost the same price not only that after I told the guy that he gave me a price over the phone his wife got mad and he did a really bad job on my hands this is for graduation and for my daughter's birthday so thank you for making my experience so great I will never be back and shame on both of you for being so greedy

Gel nails that LAST!! I finally found my spot. I had a problem with gel never lasting... I was lucky if I got two weeks out of them before they started peeling up on the edges. Kevin and Tammy are the best! I just moved here from Arizona and had been doing dip powder nails but still had some issues with them breaking and peeling. My nails are very thin but Kevin knew just what to do and they easily last 3 weeks, I could probably push it to 4 weeks. Just be sure to call ahead and make an appointment so they can get you right in and they'll take great care of you!

Loved the service here, Kevin was an absolute sweetheart to take care of us! My friend has been going for three years there very consistent and friendly !

This place was great! I have been searching for a new nail place since moving to Tampa. I went through place after place with disappointment after disappointment until I found this place. This husband and wife team were great. Kevin did my nails and they are so cute! He was gentle, QUICK, and precise. 100% will be back. I would recommend to everyone. i would give it 0 stars but that isn't an option. took my girlfriend here to get st pattys nails we were there for an hour and the man's hands were shaky the whole time we called and asked for a refund and he refused saying we should've said something... our argument... if you gave my girlfriend the worst nails she's had in 24 years of living i don't think i want you "fixing them" do not go here if you actually want to look cute. read more

I went here because it had all 5 star reviews, and as much as I hate to give a bad review to a small business, people deserve to know the truth about this place. I went in for a pedi, and the guy giving it to me filed a few of my toe nails, then used the same file and started filing his own fingernails with it, then went back to filing my toes! Gross! Can I at least get the illusion of cleanliness?? He also used the dremel took to smooth my nails (never had this done on my feet before, it wasnt gel or anything), he CUT my big toe with it because he was all around on the skin too. AND he got up in the middle of polishing my toes to use the bathroom. There was no sign of handwashing!! Instead of one star and paying for his service, I should be calling the better business bureau! I'm really grossed out and will not be going back! IGNORE THESE GLOWING REVIEWS! Based on the reviews, I decided to try this place. I called ahead of time since I know most places are busy over the weekend. I specifically asked the man that I spoke with how long the wait is. He said there is no wait at this time. Ten minutes later, I arrived, to find out the wait is about 30 mins long. I asked why he said otherwise on the phone, and all she said is "sorry". I will not try this place because they set completely false expectations and wasted my time making the drive. Not professional! read more

Kevin and Tammy are the best! I just moved here from Arizona and had been doing dip powder nails but still had some issues with them breaking and peeling. My nails are very thin but Kevin knew just what to do and they easily last 3 weeks, I could probably push it to 4 weeks. Just be sure to call ahead and make an appointment so they can get you right in and they'll take great care of you! read more

I have been to Diamond Nails a few times over the past two years. At first, I liked it otherwise I would not have returned. However, it has been going downhill. In the summer, they leave the back doors open, making it unbearably hot in the salon. So, I stopped going in the summers. After my last visit, I won't be returning ever. The male co-owner did my pedicure. He used the Dremel tool on my big toes. As another customer stated in a review, he cut my toe! The skin around my toe began bleeding! He didn't even apologize. I don't even know why he felt the need to use it in the first place b/c that toe isn't thick or anything. Now I'm worried the toe nail will have bruising under it and fall off. Also, the nail is constantly sore and keeps feeling like it is ingrown. My nails like pretty, but the pedicure wasn't worth the pain. read more

Finally!! I moved here from South Florida 3 years ago and had a nail tech down south that was absolutely the best. I've been looking for someone to come close to her for 3 years with no luck. Great experience! I was able get in for a pedicure with a minimal wait. Opted to upgrade to a deluxe pedicure and it was wonderful! He really took his time and they don't skimp on products like most places do... Highly recommend but I will probably call ahead next time as I could see possibly having to wait read more

Would not recommend going here. I found out that they use MMA in their acrylic nails from a licensed nail tech. this chemical in banned in salons and is proven to cause cancer, miscarriage, respiratory problems etc. i wouldn't write a bad review for no reason. i just feel like people should know for their health. and this isn't a competitor just someone who was shocked to find out that you use this product when i had a previous set removed the nail tech said it was very obvious you were using MMA due to the sticky consistency of the acrylic. read more

I've been going to the same nail salon in Oldsmar for nearly 20 years and had to make a change since the nail salon was sold. I paid a visit to the new owners, Kevin & Tammy and was very impressed. They took time to explain the various gel polishes & coordinating toe polishcolor. Very organized, no guess work. They took their time to fill my nails and finished off with applying lotion to my hands and arms! I've never had that done after a fill, they go the extra mile to please their customers. I returned a week later for a basic pedicure and again was very pleased. Very relaxing atmosphere, fully remodeled salon including new pedicure stations, nail stations, wash area, etc. The place is spotless! It's been a while since I've had my nails done.. Because I just could not find quality service.. I got a full gel set and a pedi.... It's very clean and adorable...I was very impressed by the service my sister and I received on our first visit! We didn't feel rushed and Kevin and Tammy made sure our experience was relaxing.. If you are seeking quality work, this is your new nail place. It's a couple that own and run the nail salon (Kevin & Tammy). They both do a wonderful job! Stop going to overpriced nail salons with fancy decor but do horrible manis and pedis. If you want to know what it feels like to have an excellent regular, gel, powder mani and pedi, this is the place to go. I'm in the area 4-6 times a year and this is my 2nd time here and I will Continue to come here when I'm here . Kevin & his wife ? Sorry not sure if she's wife or other family , anyhow , they are really sweet , genuine people & do amazing work !! I love this place so much, I took my daughter and my mom one time to treat them and have been going ever since. Kevin usually does my acrylics and I get stilettos which usually anywhere else one will break within a couple weeks but he's a perfectionist and they're always perfect and never break. They assured her the colors would be the same. Her feet came out just yellow. She actually disliked it so much she went somewhere else the next day to switch out the color (but she is on the particular side). I, on the other hand, loved my nail color. I got a dark red and it was exactly what I wanted. They were very busy for a random Thursday at 4 p.m. I heard them tell people it would be 15 minutes and they sat around for longer. A man left and came back and was angry they told him 15 minutes again. They responded you never said when you were coming back! Touche. I would definitely call ahead and not just walk in. Overall the mani and pedi were fine. Nothing spectacular, nothing bad, hence the three stars.

On one occasion, I noticed errors in the bookings for five out of six clients within just 30 minutes. Additionally, the quality of the procedures has deteriorated. Appointments feel rushed, and the results reflect this. My gel polish is either applied so thickly that it becomes lumpy or so thinly that it peels off within days. Given that I have a desk job with no physical labor, there's no reason my gel polish should be peeling so quickly. This isn't an isolated issue--it has been a consistent problem for the past year.
