I am giving Prana 5 stars because of the amazing hydrafacial I got yesterday. My skin has never felt so clean and amazing. It was the full spa treatment. The esthetician was great, explained her process while still making it as relaxing as possible. I will be back for sure! read more

Im gonna start off by saying, I love a good Pedicure, unfortunately, I have yet to find the go-to place for the perfect Pedicure. After looking over at the great reviews on Yelp for Prana, I figured why not? The place looked very clean and glamorous, they serve wine, sangria, mango juice as so forth, they charge a premium as well, add to that the near flawless reviews and you got my full attention and high expectations. In a nutshell. My Pedicure was truly one of the worse Pedis I've ever had. They didn't even cut the nail, (almost posted a pic, but I started to feel some type of way, so I took it down) just a lot of fluff. They have a young staff, not sure how much experience they have in this industry. But I urge them to go back to the lab and rethink their approach. They were not personable and felt like trainees to be perfectly honest. My feeling in the end was that they are not about substance. They are clearly selling you on the glamour of the place and handing out drinks in a fancy glass to make you feel special. When all I was in a good Pedicure. Wifey thought her Pedi was halfway decent.. Halfway decent at a premium doesn't sound right either. read more

Sadly I quite possibly had the worst manicure I have EVER had, it honestly makes me mad that I didn't say anything and paid $45 (over $200 for 2 pedicures and a manicure) and will have to pay to get my nails done elsewhere again today. They should be ashamed to charge what they charge and let a customer walk out like I did. My nails, hands and clothes were covered in bright red powder...when I asked if I should wash my hands the tech said no and told me I was ready to go because they were rushing to close. The place itself is nice and clean but unless they get better techs they won't stay around much longer. My husband and I get pedicures religiously every other week and I will never step my foot in the place again. read more

Where do I start? I will make it short and sweet. What you are paying for is the feeling of being "high class" , the place is beautiful inside unlike any place ive seen BUT the work is horrible. I paid $65 dollars for the crappy job I got, I know what you are going to ask next , why did you pay? I would of walked out etc . We all have those days, I just wanted to get the hell out before I blew, I chose to pay and take the loss. I will NEVER go there again. read more

Such a lovely place. I felt like royalty. The pedicure is done with warm water , salts and a light jet that feels great on the feet. Queeny, my nail specialist, also managed my feet and legs , first with a scrub and then with lotion. She took her time with the lotion and it was just what I needed. Although the chairs aren't massage kind they are large and incredibly comfortable. I felt like I was at a spa. Queeny was so kind and helpful. They are organized and offer many colors. They also offer regular, gel and dip manicures. read more

Bought a Groupon and have tried scheduling an appointment a few days now, but the voicemail is full. Was in the area and decided to drop by and they had this notice on their door. This place is absolutely gorgeous and was very clean. The lady Angel was very helpful and did a great job. I got the Groupon for a mani and pedi fo $33. You had to call and make an appointment, so I did and they immediately started on my pedicure once I walked in. They also have a membership program which I thought was neat. I definitely would give them another try. read more

My first experience was so good, that I decided to go back about a week ago. This time, there was no one there to greet me, just two people working in the salon, and neither one was very friendly. I was there for a pedi and ended up with a young man, which...no offense, I normally refuse. I'm sure there are exceptions, but they just don't seem to be very good(at least in my experience). This time proved to be no different! The pedi was poor quality and instead of the $25 I paid the visit before, it was now $35, and no where near worth it. Unfortunately, I won't be going back, which is too bad because it's very convenient! read more

Wow! Talk about luxurious! Decorated in gold and white and crystal chandeliers! The beverage selection includes wine, tea and mango(!)Juice! I got the manipedi combo, a chin wax, and a glass of juice. Tiffany was my pedicurist and was wonderful. Very personable and experienced. She even drew an amazing design on my big toes! Very artistic! I was passed on to a manicurist who applied a gel. After 10 years of acrylic, gel is still new to me, and I was really disappointed that it started cracking and peeling in 4 days, but I don't know if that is "the nature if the beast" or not. After my fingers were done, I was taken to the back where a third technician waxed my face. She was very smooth and gentle and did a fantastic job! Definitely going back to get my legs done! I hate shaving! read more

Don't even bother. Bought 2 Groupons from this place for my moms bday and it was just a waste of money. I tried calling and calling- but no answer. Also, their message box is full so yo I can't even leave a message. Save yourself the time and money and look somewhere else. read more

So disappointed that after the nail tech convinced me to get dip because it's healthier and she does a good job that my dip is falling apart on my nails. In less then a week the dip started coming off my nails n destroying them. I've had dip last on my nails for four weeks at a time. Such a waste of my money to pay for dip and then have my nails ruined in less then a week. read more

Absolutely loved this place! I came here about two weeks ago, the staff was friendly and my pedicure was awesome. I got the Prana Volcano and was very pleased. I've been desperately trying to find a good nail salon in the Tampa Bay Area and I think I may have found my place. I found Prana Nail Lounge here on Yelp and decided to give it a try since it's only 10 mins from my home. I pull up and see the red carpet in front of the door and immediately see how lux the salon is. It is decorated beautifully, with gold and white furnishings from the floor to the pedi chairs, to the front desk. It gives a very fancy and decadent feel. It is very clean and organized which I really appreciate. I didn't have an appointment but was seen within 15 or so mins on a Saturday morning. My mani and pedi were done at the same time, which I didn't mind because it to me in and out faster. I was offered a drink and was brought a very yummy mimosa. The nail tech who did my hands did a great job, his massage was good and he didn't make my cuticles bleed- which is rare at most salons because my cuticles are very thin. I did have to tell him a few times to even put my nails with the file because they were crooked, but in the end it turned out perfect. My pedi tech did an excellent job and paid close attention to detail. My pedi took about an hour. I was getting antsy at the end but appreciated the effort and care she put into my nails. They look great. The only complaint I have with her work was that the massage was basically non-existent. There was no effort here. I got the " Prana retreat package" and it does say light massage, but she just put lotion on my legs and rubbed in on and on the bottom of my feet with no pressure. A little more effort here would have made the experience perfect! I purchased a deal off Groupon- $31 for the mani and pedi which I think is an insane deal and a steal. I give the salon 4 stars because they have such LOUD music playing I just couldn't relax. They play 90s/early 2000's R&B music (which I love) but I'm not trying to cry to sad love songs while I'm getting a mani and pedi. And it was just incredibly loud- I'm assuming because next door is a kick boxing studio and you can hear them screaming and hitting boxing bags, so the salon tries to mask the noise. I think if they chose spa music or even classical music it would be better and go more with their luxurious vibe. It was so loud I got a headache! If you don't like loud music just keep that in mind. When getting spa treatments, I really look forward to relaxing and unwinding and it was just so distracting. If you don't care about details like that then this would be a 5 star place for you. read more

Being a guy I don't need as much work done for a pedicure manicure. No nail polish removal, no nail polish, no nail polish application. That being the case, when I got to the register they charged me an extra $10 to buff my nails. Which took 1/10 the time of removing/applying nail polish. Never had that upcharge with other nail shops. My wife and will I will keep searching for another reasonable nail spa in my area. Poor judgment on their part if they want male clients. read more

This place is a joke. They have overly done up/gaudy decor and sub par nail techs. I went in for my last mani/pedi before my baby arrives (only because my regular place across the street, BLUSH, which is an AMAZING salon was on appointments only that day)...the place was dead and my manicure was rushed, not well painted and the pedicure included zero massage or relaxation and I had to tell the tech to refile one of my toes because it was uneven! Just no attention to detail or a true relaxing, or well done, experience. There are so many better places out there, don't waste your time! read more

I wish there was no stars! This place is ridiculous! I called and asked how much it was for dip nail removal and they said 10 dollars. I called around other nail salons as well and they all said the same thing. Since this place was close to my house I I choose this location. Worst mistake! They do my nail removal which is simple and charged me double! I told them they said 10 originally but there was nothing the receptionist could do so they charged me 20 dollars. Don't go here! They are over priced! Be careful as well when you call about the pricing because they lie. I recommend going somewhere else! read more

My friend bought a Groupon for a group of 3, called and asked if we could make an appointment. On a SATURDAY, she said she could not take a group of 3. She is working alone, one person. We asked on the phone if she could take two at a time, and she said yes. We showed up and she scolded us saying we do not have an appointment, and that "I never take three people because I'm by myself." She was very rude and hostile and made no attempt to work with us. I walked out after being so rudely spoken to and she locked the door on me as if I would've stepped foot in there again. Never coming here again read more

Great pedicure. Organic and Classy. Luxury pedicures here tried orange volcano spa packages.

Don't go here! I came here for the first time today, there was no customers in the building and this rude ghetto Spanish chick at the counter refused to take me because she claimed she was going to be too busy, even though there was no one in the building! What a joke to let money walk out the door! I was barely acknowledged, she asked if I could come back in a few hours, how inconvenient, I have two kids that was my only time to get my nails done, I had to drive across town to my normal nail place, they were super busy, but STILL made time to see me right away. This place is not concerned with customer service whatsoever. The place is usually empty, yet two times when I arrived they turned me away. They falsely advertise online they're available hours. 2 times I made the effort to rush over there from work thinking that they were open till 7 or 8, but when I arrived they say that they close at 5 or 6. This has happened a couple of times because they are not updating their website, and don't seem to care too. This place has lousy customer service and if you are a working person with 9 to 5 hours trying to get in after work, they will not accommodate. read more

Just make sure you tell them your budget before going in! I have never paid over a $100 for a full set of nails and my nails were beautiful but not perfect nor worth the $110 I wanted coffin shape but they are more square. I had a Groupon; the place was empty when I arrived. Not one person inside but the owner. She was rude, told me my Groupon was only good cleaning and buffing, no nail coloring, plus if I wanted my gel taken out, it was another $15. Seriously lacking in customer service. So, I left and got a refund from Groupon. Waste of a drive and my time. read more

My mother had the worst most hysterical experience. She was so incredibly disappointed. The aesthetic's of the lounge was beautiful and she was sure that the treatment would be amazing as well. We purchased a groupon for the service. The male technician was on the phone the entire treatment. He barely did a pedicure service. It was the most laziest service with the bare minimum. Cuticles were not treated. Polish was ugly and slopped on. The technician was the most rude man. He left her with a drying machine burning her toes. My mother left the place shaking from frustration. I called the office to complain since I bought this as a gift for my mother. They listen but offered no solution. Horribly disappointed. I cancel my own Groupon with them. read more

I found this place through a Groupon and it looked really nice. It was very fancy looking inside but I wasn't very impressed with the service. The lady that did my pedicure was in such a hurry even though I was the only one there at the time. She did a half a** job. My manicure came out better (dipped nails). Probably won't be back. I rather stick to the whole in the wall salons and get better service. read more

This place is absolutely gorgeous!! However, my service took 3 hours to complete. I only asked for a regular manicure and pedicure. After my pedicure I was never given slippers for my feet and had to walk in my bare feet to the manicure station. I sat there with bare feet for over an hour. It took 4 attempts to put nail polish correctly on my nails. Another technician noticed what was happening and corrected the problem. Needless to say I was tired and annoyed by this point. The manager gave me a discount and offered to redo my nails properly the next day. Which was a lovely jester. Unfortunately, I don't think I will be returning to Prana nail salon. Let me start off with how excited I was for the experience I was expecting out of this place that completely got DESTROYED as soon as I walked in!! I walked in with my friend to get pedicures, fill ins and eyebrows! As soon as we check in for our APPOINTMENTS we MADE there was a problem with who was going to do our services since there's ONLY ONE tech that can do gel/acrylic nails!?!? The one tech who could do our nails was the one in charge which made us VERY UNCOMFORTABLE when we started to talk down to the other girls working, she seemed like a DICTATOR not a coworker! Our pedicures we picked came with wine and champagne which we did NOT get but instead got sangria 40 mins into our pedicures because the lady in charged felt bad cause we were going to have to wait on our nails!!! Our pedicures we liked but was ABSOLUTELY NOT worth $60 for a BASIC pedi and BASIC nail polish!! Going on to get our fills we wanted something cool that we saw on THEIR Instagram that ended up not being about to do because the person who could do it LEFT so complete FAULS ADVERTISEMENT!!! She DIDNT listen to anything we wanted and both of us COMPLETELY HATE our nails!! She told me she knew exactly what I wanted which was a lie cause what she DID wasn't anything I asked for!! And my friend she told her she didn't like what she did but it's ok!?!??!?? We ended up saying NO to the eyebrows cause I was SCARED of what they would MESS up with those!!!!! We couldn't WAIT to get out of there!!!!!! We both payed for the services which were $110.00?!??!?! COMPLETELY Ridiculous, Because we didn't want to cause a disruption with other clients in there!! All we wanted to do was LEAVE since we were there for a total of 4 1/2 HOURS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I don't mind spending money on quality things but this was HORRIBLE!! We will NEVER go back and I WILL make sure to let people I know to NOT waste their time or money on this place!!!!!!!! read more
