They did a great job on my gel manicure and pedicure! Very relaxing. Highly recommend.

Came in for dip manicure. My normal place was too busy and couldn't see me for a while so tried somewhere new. My nails are all uneven in dip. The problem areas she just kept adding top coat to try mask it. Thick around some edges yet so thin in others that the color is different. Took an hour and a half. Tried to overcharge me. Didn't say a word to me the whole time. 7/10 look great and the other 3 look like crap. If I wanted them done badly I would've tried at home. Will not return. Super overpriced for what I got. Would like a refund but doubt I'd get one read more

Why is it so hard to find a GOOD nail salon in St Pete/Clearwater area? This salon wasn't the worst, but overall, average at best. Had a regular manicure and pedicure- priced together at $50. Things that didn't happen: did not soak enough before the tech started the pedi. She did not spend enough time prepping, making sure edges of nails were smooth, exfoliating heels or any rough spots, or clean under and around nails. Why don't techs paint in STRAIGHT WITH BOTTOM TO TIP OF NAIL STROKES?? It is shocking how many techs do not know how to apply polish. This tech was no exception, leaving polish looking lumpy and edge near cuticle uneven. The manicure was about the same, except she did soak my nails a little longer. But again, polish not applied in straight, smooth lines- short brush strokes that leave the polish looking lumpy and not clean around the edges and straight against the cuticle edge. The plus of this salon, unlike all others that have been tried, and reason for the 3 stars are the location is convenient, plenty of parking, shop is clean, and staff were friendly and didn't spend the whole time talking among themselves like most do- which is an uncomfortable experience for clients. read more

After going there 4 and a half years.. About a year ago I settled with a particular person, Tom. He does an amazing job but after 3 times of him acting like he is doing something special for me and then he up charges me for services without my consent! I had a 35 dollar manicure and couldn't believe it!!Tom recommended that I needed a gel manicure.. However he didn't tell me it was 20$ extra!! I was very upset and I will never go back! I didn't have the extra money and wouldn't of agreed to that price! I do not recommend this salon unless you have money to throw away!! Be careful and ask questions about everything if you do go there! read more

The prices are higher than some other places but as long as I get one of my preferred nail techs I'm willing to pay the premium. Ugh, I'm so dissapointed in this place!! I wanted to love it especially since it is new and close to home. This is my 2nd time and was hoping to be wow'd!! Thr first time I got a gel manicure, which was good and lasted for 3 weeks but was $35 for just color, no design or anything. As I'm finishing up my pedicure now, I chose the Firewalker, which is $55! 35 minutes into it and he's done and painting my toes!! Am I the only one that is completely floored! I could have went across the street and paid $20 for this pedi. The cart is disorganized and thrown together so I have no idea if he even used what was included. I've been going here for YEARS! and they always did a pretty decent job.. but as of recently the last 3x I went I got treated so rudely , and they don't know how to time manage .. I got put to the side while they took new customers and had 2-3 people working on one person .. they have new nail techs working who are horrible at nails and they break the same day and the manger does not want to take responsibility, while other nails techs know the truth , I come back and get almost pushed out the door .. I've been here twice so far and the service is exceptional. When I walk in I am greeted with a warm welcome and everyone is so professional. The place is beautiful. Everything is hygienic and clean. I am very impressed. I had Tina for a manicure and she is a pleasure. She took extra time with me and paid attention to detail. I didn't feel rushed and she we had great conversation. I had Adam for a pedicure and he is on point with everything as well. He did a fantastic job and I did not feel like just another number and am being rushed out the door. 1st off the owner's speak English fluently, but the workers pretend not to know English, or just don't speak. We could have avoided the issues, I encountered, totally with a little more communication! A guy was doing my fill in while I got my pedicure. Which I thought was a good thing. But I told him to cut s little bit, he cut a lot. I had a lifted nail, that I showed him, that never was repaired. I was asked if I wanted gel and was given a bunch of colors, as usual to pick from. So I assumed that my toes would also be gel, since it was from the same batch. But I noticed too late and would have taken extra time to fix it. Which the owner offered to do! It shouldn't have come to that. My daughter in law was given gel nails when she asked for regular a while back. I assumed that they would change their practices after a few people had complained a year or so ago, but eventually not. My advice, if you go, make sure you know what you're getting ahead of time!! read more

HORRIBLE experience on my first visit! I normally go to a salon much closer to my house, but Legacy had fantastic reviews online, so I thought I would give them a shot. Big mistake! I wanted a simple full set of French tip acrylic nails (rounded square shape) with a thin line of silver glitter polish. I even showed the tech a picture of what I wanted. They told me it would be no problem. Then the tech talked me into doing natural colored tips, with French tip polish, instead of the normal French tips that I was used to. She assured me this was the better way to go, so I trusted her. This was my second mistake! The shape was AWFUL and not all what I wanted, as the French tip polish was straight across and NOT natural looking at all. It looked like someone had tried to French tips on my nails with White Out On top of that, at least 2 of the nails were CROOKED and none of them were the shape I requested AT ALL. I attempted to tell the tech that I wasn't happy, but another client came in and I felt rushed to get out of there. In fact, I was so rushed that I didn't even get my eyebrows waxed, which I had requested when I came in, along with the manicure. I went home, but was so upset by my nails (which I paid $10 MORE for than I do at my regular nail salon) that I went back to Legacy and let her know that I was displeased and asked her to fix the manicure. She did attempt to do so (another wasted 30 minutes on my day off), but all she managed to do was make the horrible nails SHORTER. Otherwise, they looked exactly the same. I was so displeased with the manicure, that I ended up having to shape them and polish them MYSELF at home. I was not going to drag myself back out to a salon that screwed up my nails TWICE. Why did I go and spend $40 and over an hour of my time at a salon for?? Apparently, for no reason at all. I was in here this past weekend and it wasn't a very good experience for my sister-in-law. We both wanted a basic manicure with just nail polish, no acrylic, no gel. We sat side-by-side and the man that was taking care of her shapes her nails with no soaking and immediately starts putting red nail polish on, no base. I asked her if she wasn't doing a base and she just looked at me quizzically (eyebrow raise here). She's not one to make a fuss so I commented if I don't have a clear base coat, my nails are pink when I take the nail polish off. The girl who was doing mine soaked my nails, did a great job of trimming them and then massaged my arms. The guy that was doing my sister-in-law's didn't even do that and then he questioned my girl in (I guess in Korean). So after he polishes my sister-in-law's he massages her arms. It was the funniest, strangest thing I've ever seen. Clearly he does not know what he's doing and needs to either get some guidance or go to school! read more

I had to post after seeing Amanda F. review. I would simply say that I have been to nearly every salon in Pinellas County and I can't imagine having this experience at Legacy. The staff are extremely talented and meticulous and most of all pride themselves on customer service. It seems that your nail tech in fact made every effort to please you. I would recommend going elsewhere as there are plenty of valuable customers that truly appreciate the quality of this salon and the wonderful highly educated ( most have their MBA) staff at Legacy. read more

OUTRAGEOUS pricing!!!!!!!! Paid NINETY FIVE dollars for their basic mani/pedi with gel polish and painted French tips. No fake nails. Just the polish. UNbelievable!!! Not to mention the manicure- the girl did literally nothing but shape my nails. No massage, no time taken whatsoever. Even tho they managed to have me in that salon for over two hours. She was young and looked very inexperienced, while she was very sweet, I wasn't comfortable with her. And now that I know it was a $60 mani- I would've asked for something better. Anyways. Decent environment. There was quite a bit of gossip btwn the guy at the front counter 1 or 2 of the techs and a client that walked in. They were speaking loudly about this woman's friend who was upset at the salon. And then!!!! They started trash talking an older gentleman who had, since everyone in the salon heard it, his entire body waxed and it took the girl over 3 hours to do. She and he client talked on and on about this gentleman, I felt awful for him. Nonetheless. I won't be returning. And totally have nail polish buyers remorse. read more
