Unfortunately, I was hopeful my second visit would redeem the first, but no such luck. I was there to have dip removed and then replaced, typically no big deal. The technician hit my cuticles with the nail drill so many times that I nearly asked her to stop halfway through. If there were more employees, I would have asked for someone else to finish. I left bleeding and still have scabs on my fingers more than a week later. This is now two different techs at this location who have both left me with painful experiences. That's not what should be happening, not the experience I want for my large amount of money. I just discovered this salon when driving through the tri city plaza. I've been getting dipping powder at other salons but could never get the color I wanted and it was too expensive. So I looked at their website here and noticed that had pink acrylic with gel top coat. Come to find out this is what I've been wanting all along but never knew it existed. So of course I had to give it a try I went in and asked for a full set and pedicure but explained I was short on time. They did both services at the same time so it went very quickly. The mani came out great. Very natural looking and for a good price. The pedicure was very thorough and made my feet look a million times better than when I walked in. It saddens me to write a bad review but I feel deeply that I should let others know of my experience. I have had one good experience here and two bad. I have been trying to give this place a shot because I enjoy the pedicures and like how clean they are with the pedicure supplies. So today I had come in initially for a fill on my manicure. In the past I have gotten a manicure and pedicure with gel for $60. Today I asked about pricing and was told 35 for the fill (with gel) and if I wanted I could to q basic pedicure for 25(without gel.) So I agreed to have the pedicure done for the 25 to treat myself. When sitting in the chair they decided to do my hands and feet at the same time which I don't prefer because I have a shoulder injury with nerve damage and reaching across my body causes me pain. She said she would be going to either side and it would be ok. Well that did not happen and everything was done on my left side. I asked for a short coffin nail with number 407 pink glitter as the color. When sitting in the chair they decided to talk to me more about pricing and I felt pressured and did not feel like this was a relaxing experience at all. The two girls said now the price was going to be 75 instead of the 60 I was quoted before. I asked why the price had changed and there was no answer. It was very awkward. The owner started talking to them in a different language I could not understand. The manager doing my nails then said ok we can do everything for 70 with gel but only once. They both started saying it was only $10 more for what I want. I finally gave in because it was only 10 more but I was starting to feel irritated from this poor pricing experience. Then Tiffany had asked me if I had gotten my Stimulous check. Because they were sqeezing me on the pricing so hard this felt really innopropriate. Like they were trying to upcharge their customers because they know some people have extra funds for the current situation. Trying to give them the benefit over the doubt, i would have said they were just trying to maybe make conversation at that point BUT for what happened after really upset me and confirmed my suspicion on how I was feeling. After that conversation I saw another customer in a chair and it had the massager going. I wasn't aware the pedi chairs had that because I really don't get this service often because it is a real treat for me. So because I was having my nails done the uv light was on the remote. I asked the manager if I could turn it on and once again ignored. I lifted the blue towel to try and set it myself and she took the towel from my hand and flicked the towel over the remote control preventing me from using it in chair 7. So because of the conversation with pricing her attitude completely changed because of this I will not be returning or recommending this place. She was also upset because I had chosen a solid glitter color and they didn't want to use enough coats of polish to obtain the look without severely over charging me. I have been getting my nails done at various different places for years and never had this problem. My nails are also not coffin, are not the color or look I asked for, are not painted on the tips, I have acrylic under my nails, acrylic on the sides, nails aren't fully painted and i have a couple cuts from the negative experience. I paid $80 and feel ripped off and have serious buyers remorse. At one point I was in alot of pain because my arm was across my body and they had three uv lights on me at the same time. This is not the treat myself experience I was hoping for. I would not recommend this place ever again. read more

I went to this nail salon for some gel tips. They agreed to do them then after applying the tips they tried to put acrylic over them. I'm allergic to acrylic. I said no, I want gel tips. They said they don't do that..??? I wish they would've told me that from the beginning because I could've went somewhere else. They tried to charge me $50 but I negotiated to 45. The nail technician didn't cut my nails the same size and didn't know how to file my nails square. They were uneven and looked terrible. Didn't even groom cuticles. Not a great experience. I honestly haven't used Yelp in a really long time, but my experience was so upsetting that I literally popped open the app the second I left. My skin is white and cracked and dry from being over buffed and from acetone being left on way too long. The polish is uneven and scraped. And that isn't even half of it. When I walked into this place all seemed well. It's clean there's a nice big open room with four or five lovely pedicure chairs that seem brand new. I was greeted immediately by a friendly woman named Tiffany who was able to start my pedicure and dip powder manicure immediately. She had a nice selection of nail polish is for me to choose from. And right away the pedicure was wonderful. I felt like I got a very good amount of services for only $35. But the positivity ends there. In the middle of the pedicure, literally out of nowhere, the woman who was doing my pedicure got her purse and walked out of the salon without saying anything. I sat there for 10 minutes waiting for somebody to acknowledge that the employee has literally just walked out with me having my feet in the bowl. I had to ask Tiffany when she happened to be walking by what the hell was going on. She told me that The Woman was supposed to pick up her son and had forgotten. Well that's nice, but nobody decided to say anything to me about that. Tiffany then finished my pedicure and I was moved to a table for my dip powder manicure. The man doing my pedicure was nice but he was moving extremely slow. I mean extremely slow. I told him that my skin was feeling really sensitive because the acetone had been left on my fingers so long and he even told me that lotion for my manicure would be an extra five dollars. Excuse me what? I'm used to that being included but OK. Then he used the little spinning tool to buff my fibers and managed to literally hurt every single one of my fingers. Then, it was finally time to apply the color. The dip powder that he started to apply looked literally nothing like the sample I selected. So we had to take all of that off. I asked him for the samples I could look through again and he only brought me one ring of nail color to look at. I asked him for the rest. He then said these are the only ones. The girl sitting next to me said "that's not true there's a whole bucket of them over there". Now things are starting to get really uncomfortable and I don't quite know what to do. He chooses to bring me only two other rings of samples and I literally just picked something so I can get out of there as soon as possible. By now I have been here for over an hour and a half.... there was still no color on my nails. As he's putting the color down he smudges it several times and has to go back through and redo it. He finally applies for the topcoat, and then starts to put lotion over my nails that weren't quite dry yet and ends up smearing three or four of them. He accuses me of touching them. He fixes two of the four ruined and then I just want to leave. So I think this place has good intentions. I really hate to write a bad review on what appears to be a small family business. But I am literally leaving this place really really upset and $82 poorer. read more

I've been here twice now, once for acrylics and today I went back for acrylics and a full set of lashes. The lashes were $80 and the nails $50-$55. I'm so happy!! This is probably the worst nail place I have ever seen. I started my experience here by calling a few days before to set up an appointment for a manicure and they told me that it would be "25$ for the manicure and a nail paint job" I asked if that would include a design I want and they said yes. So the day comes and I go in and am told the lowest price they offer is 35$ and they kept trying to get me to go up in price to 45$ without telling me the difference in the manicures. The lady starts my 35$ manicure and the whole time she keeps stopping to FaceTime multiple people. When she finishes my massage she without asking tells me to go wash my hands because I am done. Very confused, I asked what about the color and design I was told about? She then proceeds to tell me it is an additional 30$s for that and I asked why I was told 25$ on the phone and am now being asked to pay 65$. Without answering me she goes over to her coworker and makes her take me. The poor girl tried to be reasonable but still ended up saying I had to pay 50$ to get my nails painted and to have a design on two of the nails. She asks what I would like and I tell her a black nail base with neon flames. She said "it will be hard to do because of how short your nails are" and I said that fine we can do just a black nail with one of the nails on each hand the neon green I wanted. The man next to her pushed her to paint my nail with the flame and so she said she could do it. She then proceeds to paint horribly and not at all the color that I asked for. I ended up being charged more than I was originally promised and now have some of the worst nails I've seen from anyone. If you are trying to find a new nail place, look over this one bc it is a huge regret that I now have. read more

First time here and I likely won't be back. Although my nails turned out just fine, the atmosphere here is terrible. When I got there, one of the mail techs was on a video call which was on speaker while she was doing someone's nails. Once she finished, she walked around the shop with her mask around her chin still on the phone. Pretty much ignoring the fact that others were getting their nails done. My nail tech asked her to pull her mask up and she did.... just over her mouth. Then went to sit in a pedicure chair without her mask on STILL on the phone for everyone to hear. I'll also mention that they're not cleaning before and after each customer. Additionally, files are used on multiple people. It's clear that this place doesn't care about the customer experience at all. Bypass them. Oh! They also harped on me adding a pedicure and eyebrow waxing several times. I said no once, that should be enough. And for a dip manicure without any nail art, 90 minutes is insane! read more

Well ...where do I begin....my wife and I went in for a $25.00 pedicure . They had us sit down and kept trying to increase the price , like arguing with us .. they started on our feet and they were very rough, jerking our feet and pushing them away after soaking, scrubbing and buffing, which they did a lousy job at buffing also... I still have rough spots on my feet, all the while they were talking in their language and not even focusing on our feet, let alone never said a word to us besides to pick a color... and trying to get us to get our eyebrows done. They were rushing definitely you could tell ! I also noticed that they did not put a topcoat over the polish, so I don't know how long this pedicure will last. They cut our toes on both of our feet and then as she told us the amount and we handed her our card and asked how much of a tip we would like to put on.. Mind you, we are very good tippers normally, but we told them they We're getting a minimal tip because we were not happy at all with a job they had done.... we will definitely not ever set foot in here again! read more

I asked for the simplest Pedi. The lady stated that gel would be $5 extra. That's fine with me. A Mani would be nice as well, but no polish please. Just a simple Mani. I felt rushed, they did both at once, rushing me out after. Asking if I had cash for the tip at the counter. $65 was my total, I usually tip 20% so a $15 tip for the two ladies that rushed me out to share. As I drove home I was thinking of what I had done and the math didn't add up. So I called and was told that I asked for an expensive Pedi and gel was $15 extra! And then they told me I tipped too much! They said next time they will do extra for me, there will not be a next time. Pedi looks ok but the Mani is nothing to talk about. Never have I ever literally broke into tears while getting my nails done because I was so unhappy with what was happening and the service and the tech not listening to me at all... My nails turned out nothing like the nail that I chose off their wall that I wanted she did gel nail after I asked for acrylic twice when she had to look up on YouTube how to do f****** gel...but still went on with the gel my nails are all different sizes two fingers are bleeding from the ruff filing even after I asked to be gentle... The uneven fingernail sizes are ridiculous I am coming home only to file these down short as I requested and the tech still argued back with me and kept telling me to be patient !!!!!!?? I hate to say it but I had a terrible experience here. I came for a pedicure and was cut multiple times with the nail file, had to ask the technician to stop using the cuticle pusher tool because it was hurting so bad, and the hot stones made me feel like my ankles might have bruises tomorrow. I don't normally say anything even when it's hurting a little but it was enough that I spoke up multiple times to say it hurt. My left foot is great but my right foot the big toenail is crooked and not fully polished like the whole top corner is not pink. They are cheaper than LG Nails but you get what you pay for.. :( read more

One thing I can say is I'm glad I got my nails only 2 days before my wedding considering my full set didn't last any longer than 5 days! This was my first time here and my last! I spent a pretty decent amount well over $100 and still they harassed about up charges after being told no would seem to have much attitude and keep pushing it!! Which is beyond annoying! My usual nail salon was booked otherwise I would not have even strayed but I don't mind giving new places a chance, but for a new set to not even last a week is horrific! Even after all the "gel" upgrades... I would suggest they take it easy on the harassment of upsell I understand offering add ons that's part of it but once it's no just leave it no attitude no nagging just accept it. Again spent a decent amount there for two people and all for it to not even last I could've spent half that at my normal place and they would've easily lasted 3 weeks so all and all I wouldn't recommend unless it's for a pedicure which they did a fair job for but I wouldn't pay for the ultimates or upgraded ones they are pretty much like the original but double the price... read more
