This place is still beautiful which is why I returned for another pedicure. Everything still looks new and sleek, in fact all of their pedicure chairs are new since my last visit. Quite comfy. Not as many massage options as others but still very good. Prices are still very reasonable, but my complaint is that the deluxe pedicure is supposed to include an extended massage and I barely got more than someone rubbing in my lotion. I really hate when the massage has no strength behind it. My tech was extremely friendly she just gave a horrible massage, or lack thereof... Again I experienced sloppy polish application that I had to pick off my skin around my toenails. There is a lot of foreign chatter. Hardly anyone speaks English well enough to have a conversation. A coworker suggested checking out this nail salon due to the convenient location (near our office). I scheduled a gel mani the same day I planned on stopping by. Being that it was Friday 12/22 at 4 p.m., the salon was super packed - good thing I made that appointment. Walk-ins had to wait while I went right in :-) Picked out my color gel and was taken care of quickly. The nail tech who did my manicure took her time regardless of the rush of customers waiting which was refreshing - most technicians seem to rush when it's very busy. I noticed she opened a bag of tools that appeared to be sanitized and fresh. The salon seemed clean and I love the modern style. The reason for the 4 stars and not 5 - I was the only customer who wasn't offered a beverage. LOL. This happens to me at every salon that serves drinks. read more

I think I have tried every nail spa in the area and this is the only one I've return to and recommend. The nail technicians are patient, kind, and always welcoming. I have been a witness to a "Karen" and the staff handled the situation with the upmost professionalism, concern, and compassion. No matter the nail tech, they are always consistent and detailed oriented. After every appointment, I am more amazed and impressed than the time before. I have also gotten my lashes done there before. I no longer get lash extensions because of a personal preference, but the results were always natural and skillfully done. The lash tech., Sarah, listened to exactly what I wanted and didn't pressure me or upsell me to do anything more. To put it short, from my experience, this is the best nail spa in terms of quality and service. I cannot recommend it enough! read more

This is strictly a review for the eyebrow wax. I posted a before an after. They saw me pretty fast and it's a quite pretty when you first walk in, the lighting is great and they have beautiful chandeliers. For waxing they take you to a little tiny wax room that you'd find in your typical nail salon. The lady got right to work and didn't really ask what shape I wanted or anything like that and she wasn't light handed with the wax but she did the job well enough and put cooling gel on me after. Nice staff they all smiled and seemed in a good mood. It wasn't really the type of eyebrow shape I like but I'd go again for a quick wax. read more

NEVER AGAIN. Yes, you are greeted as you come in; that's nice. I needed ONE nail fixed. I realize I wasn't spending a mint but I'm still a paying customer among only two others. I was asked to switch seats four times. Definitely wasn't offered a bottle of water. I have long healthy natural nails and that's what I'm going for right now after the nasty dip powder ruined my nails for over a year. Even after telling the guy this....he keeps telling me how thin my nails are and that I need dip powder. SMH. Dip powder to me personally is nasty. I'm dipping my fingers into a powder that god only knows how many other people have had their fingers in. I see it as a lazy way for techs to get you in and out quickly. I used always go to this salon. I went this one time and no one was avail to help me then and when I called no one picked up. So a few hrs later I call. Few times with no answer so I show up and basically she called me A liar about calling and it was a rush job . i have NEVER complained about any service i've ever received anywhere but i am extremely upset with this business. i used to come in regularly but i will not ever, EVER return here. came in for a polish change on my hands and a pedicure. told me my pedicure was $40 and my polish change was (an already outrageous) TWENTY DOLLARS but i was somehow charged $75??? look at the photos and tell me that lumpy, unfinished polish is worth $5 let alone $20.... not to mention half of my nails have old red polish left on them. i went back in and asked them to fix it and the nail tech proceeded to argue with me. what a joke of a business. save your time and money, this business doesn't deserve a cent. read more

This nail salon is normally my sister and I's favorite place. But our service today was not that great. I know it's spring break and a saturday but my sister was rushed during her pedicure process and then immediately rushed out of the door without even having the chance for her nails to dry. When we called ahead to make an appt, the man who's the receptionist and also the cashier, was very rude and wouldn't even let us get a word out about what services we would need today. The only highlight of my trip was Yusimi. She was so kind and took her time with my nails and they are AMAZING. If we come back here, we will always ask for her. I was able to get in for a last minute appointment no problem and they were friendly and the place wasn't busy. Other than that the dip manicure was super rushed and I walked out paying full price with bleeding cuticles and now have scabs on the skin above my nails because my skin was being buffed along with my nails. After one week with the dip manicure I have 4 cracked nails and my dip manicures typically last 3 weeks. Thought it was just the tech but I had a friend with the same experience with a different tech. Do not recommend and will not be returning to this salon. read more

They went about and beyond trying to match my dip powder nails to a regular polish on my toes. They have so many color options! This was the first and last time I will go here for a manicure. When I walked in to the nail salon I asked about the price for a pedicure and was handed a price sheet. I thought it was reasonable and agreed to the service. Who is immediately sat in the back to start the pedicure and was handed a different book/menu of services, all upgraded versions of what was on the price sheet I had in my hand. When I told the nail tech that I just wanted the spa pedicure she looked at the paper I was holding and said that they don't offer that anymore and pointed to the book again. Because I had just been handed the price sheet upfront and felt like this was a bait and switch, I said never mind I'll just go somewhere else then. So she called the manager who is the person that gave me the price sheet and he came back and told me that no they do not have the basic spa pedicure anymore but they could do it for two dollars more than was on the sheet. Whatever. I stayed and she rushed through the pedicure that was supposed to have a relaxing hot stone massage. She did a decent job but I don't appreciate the bait and switch and attitude against me like I did something wrong. Do not recommend and won't ever go back. read more

The last two times i came the flamingo and sandhill location I was very disappointed to the point I will no longer come back. My first bad experience I was in to get a pedicure and a color change on my nails and they tried to make me pay for a manicure. The second experience I had a gift card for a deluxe pedicure and I only got a regular pedicure. First, the positive. You get a bottle of water. Kind of shabby place with wall tiles missing, pool noodles on the plexiglas partitions between stations. Tech dug into nail bed to the point of causing pain. You pick colors from a book rather than picking the bottle yourself. I had to call her attention to polish pooling at the cuticle. The techs talk between themselves in (what I assume is) Vietnamese. Maybe it's just me, but I find this disrespectful in any situation. There are so many nail places in the neighborhood. The man doing my nails decided to give me dip and did a very uneven job. The thickness, length, and cut were all different. I went to this nail salon about 5-6 months ago and had a terrible experience. I needed a soak off and the nail techs were so rough with my nails and they used a tool to just scratch away the dip powder off nails leaving my natural nails in bad shape. They were in such a hurry and did not take the time to soak off my nails properly. They were even giving me attitude when I was expressing how my nails hurt when they were scratching away at them. I've regularly gotten a gel dip powder every 3 weeks for the past 5 years done. This was by far the worst experience yet. First off, none of the color samples match the actual color, this looked like a light pink with a gentle shimmer on the sample but turned out hideous like this after being applied. The nail technician was too lazy to take the time to clean my cuticles so she used to burr that she files the nails to clean up the dead skin, and she literally cut every single finger. I was bleeding so much so I got up to get a paper towel to try to apply pressure to stop the bleeding, and she just dismissed it and put my hand under the UV to dry the blood faster. My fingers all hurt, and one finger is getting infected from how severe the cuts are. I've come here several times and was never happy but it was a convenient location so that's why I proceeded to come, but this is definitely my last time. On top of all of that she had the decency to charge me despite all the cuts she gave me. read more
