Not impressed. I would only go here for a quick, one color manicure or the spa pedicure. The tech who did my spa pedicure did a great job with the massaging and carried out her portion of my experience well. I was transferred to another tech and the end of my pedicure and I asked for a fairly simple design on my toe for the holidays with the photo reference I am attaching to this review. Fairly simple, I honestly recreated it later on my own and I'm not even a nail tech. The second tech ushered me right away to get to work on my fingernails and when I mentioned that I had requested a design she said "ok I'll try it". I didn't want to waste her time or mine if she couldn't so I respectfully asked if there was anyone available who could attempt the design but she just repeated "I'll try it". She messed it up pretty badly and only after messing up asked three other techs if they could do the design- they all said no. Again, it was a fairly simple design and they were not busy at the time I went so I was somewhat shocked that several staff could not do such an easy design. Then I needed to get my French tips touched up and instead of letting my nail polish sit in remover to let it soak off during the pedicure (which is my typical experience at most salons) she went straight to the electric nail file. My French tips currently look uneven and there's still a lot of remaining color from the last manicure. The techs themselves were nice and respectful, it just wasn't a job well done. I was in the mall waiting for my partner to get done with an appointment so I figured I'd try this place out, likely won't return. read more

I come in here when I don't want to deal with needing an appointment at other locations or if I have shopping to do and it's time for a pedicure. My visits have been just fine and go without any issues or complaints on my part. I also only get a regular pedicure and don't do anything fancy or my fingernails. My nails I don't do because no matter where I go or how I have them done everything will peel off due to my body's different levels according to my docs. Due to covid I am sure they now use packs that are for one use of files and scrubbys. The one thing I would say is that the staff though friendly is all business and doesn't do the chatty stuff. This can be good or bad depending on your personal preference. Sometimes it's nice to have them know you or things about you and sometimes it's nice to just sit there in silence. read more

My mother treated me to a mani/pedi on March 31st. It would be my first time getting an acrylic full set. I had my hesitations and for good reason. The lady (Duyan)who tended to my pedicure did a wonderful job! She took her time and was friendly. Afterwards, I went to Tony to start my first ever full set. Mind you I have a wide nail bed. However I asked if they could manage and no one said they couldn't. So we proceeded. Initially, I thought everything was panning out but I wasn't happy. Tony was not very conversational. It felt rushed and sloppy and you can see from the pictures before and after the repair. It seems like few people in there give a hoot about the quality of service. I was extremely upset. I would not recommend this place even if it was the last option in town. I have choice words for this place. read more

To start off things the staff were extremely welcoming and made sure we were attended to quickly. My first impression of the place was clean and modern which is not what you expect for a mall pedi/nail salon. The chairs looked new and well kept with working back massage functions as you would find in any typical place. Reason for 2 stars and not 5 is because of how the tools they use on your feet are kept. I'm not a stickler for hygiene but seeing how they simply rinsed them with water and then tossed them back into their cart did not sit well with me. After looking at a few reviews, seems like I'm not the only one that notices. Establish in general was clean and the atmosphere is welcoming. My nail tech was anxious and frustrated with me, my daughters nail tech was brusque and rough with her. I can only assume that they are being managed to act this way. She was told that the techs that handle acrylics were busy and would not be able to squeeze in an additional client before closing. Not all techs handle acrylics or have the education and training in acrylics to do the service requested. Margie quickly became escalated and belligerent refusing to listen to anything she was actually being told by the manager. read more

Always my go to for a quick pedicure. For a mall store, they do a decent job and there is never much of a wait. However I decided to get a gel manicure last night and it was a horrible experience. The lady was super rough getting the previous gel off (which they had applied 4 weeks ago..) and then told me that I had waited too long to come back in..? I'm a working mom and student, nails are not my top priority. Anyhow, my fingers are destroyed from the buffer (and burned like a mother each time she sprayed them with alcohol ). I don't usually come here. It was a girl day out with my bestie and we were at the mall for lunch and a movie. So we decided to add in a pedi. This place is clean and had brand new chairs. I've been here a couple times and never had a complaint about my pedi. Today the water was so hot about jumped out of my seat but she quickly fixed that for me. The pedi was done pretty quickly and run started the massage. It was so calming and relaxing. The lavender scent was heavenly. The massage was very good. Her attention to detail with the nail polish was wonderful and I'm very relaxed and happy!! The chair stopped the massage too soon but I was so into the foot massage I didn't notice until she was painting my toes. Do not use their services!!! I was wanting a simple acrylic OPI brand polish change and they refused to do it! I arrived at 7:12pm and they close at 8pm. The manager (lady) told me the techs don't want to do it, they only do manis and pedis??? I asked isn't this their job? She said she can't make them do it??? What in the world! The other techs were busy but I did say I could wait. Then she said they were too busy and closing soon. I personally believe they all wanted to leave when they were done with who they were servicing so they could leave before 8pm. I went to this nail salon on Saturday in the mall. The young gentleman put me in a booth on the outside and did a very quick job and offer me every service as he did my nails and offended me. He said ma'am do you want your eyebrows done, which was fine. He caused my cuticles the bleed by the way he cut them. He could not get them to stop bleeding. I could not relax.Today is Sunday and the cheap nail polish has already peeled , done poorly. And for $18 , this is horrible ,he did this ,less than 10 minutes. Popped in with my mom and sister to get gel manicures this afternoon. Located smack dab in the middle of a mall, my expectations were not extremely high, but I did leave rather disappointed. The price point was pretty spot on with the market, however the service was severely lacking. Although the gel came out nicely, the "manicure" aspect just wasn't there. The nail tech FLEW through my manicure as if there was a line out the door. She spent maybe 1 minute filing them, put a small dot of lotion on my hands, wiped them down with a warm cloth and that was about it. If you're looking for a quick fix, this is your place, but if you want a relaxing manicure experience you may want to look elsewhere. read more

One of the worst pedicures I've ever received! They weren't busy, my husband and I went in for a basic pedicure period this was his first time getting one so I was excited for him. they seated us apart from each other even though there was a seat next to me, and after I turned down the upselling, the pedicure went South. long story short, his pedicure was over in about 15 minutes mine took about 20. They basically cut our toenails and painted mine, there was no massaging, she basically rubbed the top of my leg with one of her hands. I'll never go back and never refer this location. read more

I've been here twice, once to get my first bio seaweed nail gel and the 2nd to get acrylics. My first time, a gentlemen named Sun did my nails. He was very gentle and yet quick. He was careful and I really appreciated how careful and methodical he was with painting my nails. My nails did last for a full week BUT one of my fingernails did end up bubbling by the end of the night and the gel lifted and fell off 4 days after I had it finished....which upset me. However, my nails felt healthy and the paint lasted on the other nails. :) My second visit was with a woman. I did acrylics with her and she was sloppy and quick. She filed my nails down WAY too much and she accidentally filed my cuticles three times with the automatic filer (which that hurts soo bad!) I asked her to please be careful because she was hurting me. She then put the glue on nails but she used so much glue that she literally glued my nails to my skin and it started hurting. I tipped her (but not as high as I normally would) but I felt like she did not deserve a tip at all. Later on that night, my nails were throbbing so much that I felt it in my sleep and had to take ibuprofen. I believe it's cause she filed too much of my natural nail off. In the future, I will not be returning and I do not recommend you use this place at all. read more

So the idea of getting my nails pretty for New Years Eve turned out to be more than I bargained for. It has been 72 hours since I got my nails done at Cali Pronails, and I am more than unimpressed. As I mentioned in my review the technician who did my nails was very rough with them and had broken skin on three of my fingers. Two of the cuts are now very infected and hurt terribly. Even after applying antibacterial ointment the infection has still yet to start to subside. I have no idea what their sanitation practices areas they pulled all the tools out of a wooden cabinet and didn't seem to wipe down the surfaces after customers were finished. I do not recommend you go to this nail salon, it's not a sensible idea. Of course they did not give me a receipt and just stuck my money in the till without ringing it in so I can't go and get a refund issued (smart thinking Cali Pro) so now I am stuck with ugly nails, and an unsightly infection on two fingers. This place is unfriendly, unprofessional, and unsanitary. Stay away! read more

They deserve no stars. I had to wait for a long while while other customers that came in before me got in before i did. When the man asked me what I wanted I said gel nails. He started to put on acrylic nails that were way too small for my nail. It's certainly mall quality because he applied my nails with gross tacky nail glue. When he started to ask what shape I wanted I said almond. He started and cut them too short and pointy. After the powder he unevenly applied it and it's all crooked. It's too thick at the bulky under. When he filed them down I asked him to be carful of some skin that was pulled up because of some dirty work I've been doing outside and he aggressively filed my whole finger and left it burning when I left. Never again. Had a pedicure today. There was no wait, not even full. They put me in a chair that didn't work. I know it's minuscule but I don't get to treat myself to pedicures often so when I do, I appreciate being able to relax and enjoy the massaging chair. Why put me in a broken one when the place is empty? Lady was incredibly rough, caused me pain while digging her finger nails into my toes while she was polishing them. The final straw for me was when she told me scrubbing my feet is an additional $5. Really? That's typically included in the price everywhere else I go. Isn't that essentially what a pedicure is??! As she was finishing me up, her previous customer came back to have her toes touched up because the polish already smeared. Definitely not the relaxing experience I was hoping for today. The girl was very kind, however she was very aggressive with the nail file, ripping apart the skin just past my cuticles and making it painful for me to even wash my hands now, they're tender, red, and swollen. I've been here upon several occasions as I work in the mall. I would like to express that a mall discount would be appreciated as my salon offers up to 20% all services for mall employees, as we are usually regulars and walking advertisement. The first time I was here a man did my acrylics he did them completely wrong, I kept having to ask him to shorten them and when I left the underneath of the nails wasn't filed down very well and I had to go to another salon to get them fixed. The second time I got a pedicure and the woman I had was wonderful, she went out of her way and did an extra long massage, she adjusted my chair accordingly, she did a very good paint job, picked up my bags and walked me over to the dryer and helped me put my shoes on, the only thing is I wanted to pay with cash and credit and they told me to just pay the full amount on my credit and tip in cash but I didn't want the whole amount to go on my card. The third time I went I got shellac it was super quick but still relaxing and it turned out great. And the last time I went there was on the Fourth of July to get another shellac after my last one, I went with one of my coworkers and they didn't sit us together, I ended up getting acrylic to make the paint last longer but the whole time the lady kept cutting me with the drill and I started bleeding.. Overall I'd say it's really a hit or miss nail salon, I like to go there because it's convenient at work and they are open early in the morning and late at night they usually always take guests. read more

I had a French dip done on my nails less than a week ago. The tips of my nails are no longer white. They are an orangish yellow color and the pink is not pink. I was charged $45. For this service. I called today and talked to someone and she was not helpful at all. Told me it was sun screen damage. HELLO...we live in Florida. I have had dipped nails for the past 4 years. Worst 2 hours of my Relaxing day. My cucumber pedi- was basically them rubbing sliced cucumber on my legs. The lady who did my nails was rude to me, didn't listen to what I had asked for, and when I did ask for it she commented back in the most disrespectful way.
