It's so hard finding a decent nail salon when I'm traveling. This could be the friendliest salon I've ever been in. Everyone who walked in was greeted warmly, whether they were a regular or not. It's a bright, nicely decorated space with several stations and comfy looking pedicure chairs. Very reasonable prices and everyone who worked there looked to be happy. My nails look great, but the technician was a little aggressive cutting my cuticles and they're irritated today. I should have told her they are paper thin so that's on me I guess. I would not hesitate to return if I were in the area. If I lived nearby, this would be my place. read more

I've been here a couple times before, but this will be the last. The previous time I was here I went for a manicure. I wanted the powder dip. I kind of got what I wanted but not totally. The base of my nail was powder, and the tip was applied via gel. I've had many of these types of manicures and that was the first time to have this mixed experience. It turned out less than wonderful. When I came in today for another manicure, I commented how dissatisfied I was with the previous manicure experience. The manicurist did not blink nor did she inform the management. She frankly did nothing. Barely acknowledged my complaint. I expressed my disappointment more than once. It went to nowhere. They close at five and I called at about 430 to see if I could still come and get a gel manicure and a pedicure. The lady told me no problem and took care of me upon arrival. I go to this place at least once a month for a pedicure as I have difficulty bending over to cut and paint my nails properly. I usually go for the next step up and get a massage and hot wax - my legs and feet feel so soft and smooth afterwards. Recently after I went, I noticed the polish had chipped off one of my toes. My bad. I didn't wear the proper shoes going in. I went back to get it touched up the next day, willing to pay, but they insisted on fixing it free. They also noticed two more toes with scratches and completely removed the polish and redid them, as well as putting on another coat for all my toes. I attempted to pay but they refused. This type of customer service is sorely missing in this day and age. Highly recommend! read more

This is the best nail salon I've ever been to. It's been a few months since I've been here because I recently moved 25 minutes away, but after going to a nail salon closer to my new house and having a horrible experience I realized I never wrote an awesome review for this FANTASTIC business. First, Kelly is an amazing manager and is always a ray of sunshine when anyone walks in. She makes sure her staff is attentive and that customers are happy. Her husband, Lan (I may be spelling this wrong), gives the BEST pedicures! Best leg/foot massage I've ever had during a pedicure. Could not recommend him enough. I saved the best for last - Kay is by far the best nail tech I've ever come across. I've been going to her for two years. I got so used to her impeccable attention to detail that I didn't even realize how rare she is!!! I can't say enough amazing things about the service she provides!! I think it's safe to say that convenience is not always worth it and I will be driving the 25 minutes to get my nails done at Red Nails as often as I can. Absolutely the best salon I've been to since moving to the Tampa area 5 years ago. Their pedicures are every bit as good as one you'd get in a high priced spa and are very reasonably priced. They are very friendly and courteous. The techs take their time and provide top notch service. My nails last a good 3 weeks without breaking or chipping which tells me that they use quality products. The literal SECOND I walked in, I was greeted with smiling faces and all the help I needed. They were even busy when I walked in and still managed to put on smiling faces, be helpful, and not make me feel like I was a bother to them, which I typically get a lot from nail salons. I can tell why locals love this place so much. The pedicure was INCREDIBLE and the pedicurist communicated very well with me about what I liked and didn't like to make sure I got the best experience possible.
