Seriously, where did all these 5 star reviews come from?!? I'll tell you - obviously they're Jenny's customers! I went as a walk-in and wasn't lucky enough to get Jenny (who is also the owner) so my experience was not 5 star worthy. It may not have even been 2 star worthy. I walked in, Tuesday afternoon around 3:30 and the place was empty: 1 customer sitting at the drying table, and 2 employees sitting there staring at me. I'm standing there, clueless, for a least a minute when one of the ladies manages to ask me (in VERY broken English) if I had an appointment. I told her I didn't (although now I wish I had) and that I would like a shellac manicure. She got me the color wheels and told me where to sit. As I was looking thru the colors, I tried asking the woman about lash extensions since I had seen the amazing Yelp photos. She didn't understand and thought I was asking about a color. Oh boy. And she was the better English speaker out of the 2 ladies manning the shop. I later found out that Jenny was in a private room with a lash customer but if I wanted lashes, I could book an appointment and the cost will be $35 -awesome price, kinda too good to be true. I'm intrigued. So back to my manicure. She soaked my hands in cool water. No cuticle remover/lotion applied though. When she proceeded to scrape my nails and clip my cuticles, she was using so much pressure pushing my nail and ripping my skin that it actually hurt! She also tried twisting my thumb toward her further than my thumb can naturally twist - which also hurt. Next, she applied lotion. Yup, lotion. Not at the end of the manicure but immediately following my cuticle removal. The massage was brief. Then she had me wash my hands. When I came back from washing she applied alcohol to my nails and had me bake my hands under the light. What??? Cooking the alcohol in??? The painting process was extremely slow and overly cautious - and never mind me trying to explain the special design I wanted. This was a nightmare and I regret going. My shellac manicure cost $26. I have an appointment for lashes. I imagine that experience will be much better because it's with the owner. Consumer beware. There's only one person that can properly communicate with you here. Hopefully they're better staffed on the weekend. read more

Fanny is great! The prices are fair too. My pedicure and nails look awesome. The parking is a little difficult but it's worth it.

Doesn't get any better than this! Guys need to keep their feet in good shape to wear flip flops. Nothing worse than bad looking toenails, and cracked feet when you have slaps on your feet! This is THE place for a regular guy to take care of his feet. Do it for yourself, your girl, and the general public that has to look at those ugly old dogs when you wear flip flops. read more

Found this little gem after moving into the neighborhood. I was looking for an inexpensive salon for my nails. It's not a luxurious salon but Fanny and Jenny are the best. Very sweet and friendly and do a great mani pedi. And I meet some of the nicest ladies in there! Small shop on Seminole you've probably passed a million times. This is a hidden gem. The salon is Covid complaint and on nice days the doors are open to create a healthy movement of air. The technicians, Jenny and Fanny, are conscientious and fabulous at what they do. The prices are reasonable too. My no chip can last for over two weeks and my pedicure the same. The ladies there are all very nice! And the owner of the shop truly cares about the customer's satisfaction. Just make sure you have cash for tip, they have signs around the store saying to tip in cash. Luckily my sister had cash with her. I would definitely come back! read more

I had a very good experience at #1 Salon and one I would recommend to others. It is a small but efficient salon. The staff are very accommodating, anxious to provide a good service (2 technicians worked on my "special" toes) and used new or sterilized/packaged tools. The massage chairs were great and prices are reasonable. Parking is a little challenge and I missed the little extras in the soaking water like bubbles or petals. read more

The price is unbeatable for the service. Nice place, they lacked on my pedicure didn't really do that great of a job, but it was a basic pedi and looked good. I hesitated to even write this review as the ladies are very nice but I was so disappointed in my manicure that I just had to. First of all, I called and spoke to the owner, Jenny, and asked if they have dipping powder which I've been using the last year. She said yes but while I was in the pedicure chair she brought shellac samples over to me. I reminded her that I was getting powder and she said they only do the base coat in powder (?) and the top is shellac. She tried to convince me that powder is bad for your nails but then said that she'd order dipping colors for next time. FYI, the reason I don't do shellac anymore is because of the UV lamp. I ignored my intuition and let her do it her way- I was already there and needed the mani. The process went fairly quickly and next thing I knew, Jenny proclaimed the mani was over. No arm/hand massage, Jenny? No, not usually but since they weren't busy, she would. Well, two weeks later my nails are chipping and look awful. My powder mani lasts 3-4 weeks so I'll be returning to the other salon as it's worth the 30-minute drive to get better service. read more

These ladies were so kind and took their time to ensure a flawless pedicure and manicure for me and my daughter. Even after we came in 15 minutes before they closed they still took the full hour to complete our mani-pedis. We got a top notch manicure and pedicure at an unbeatable price! I am so glad that I took the time to read reviews and search for the best prices while on our vacation. This was our first time to North Reddington Beach and could have walked in to any of the corner nail salons but I am glad that we took the 10 minute drive to this friendly little shop! I moved here a year ago and found this salon right in my neighborhood. I'm in heaven! The best mani/pedi I've ever had, and very reasonably priced. Salon is always CLEAN. I've never been unhappy with the service. The art work is so fun. I bring my out of town visitors here, and they too are so pleased. They take their time, never rushed and I really feel pampered. They pay attention to all the details. The pedicures are amazing...i could sit for hours, as well as the manicures and hand massage. I've watched them with all their clientele, men and women, and they treat everyone special. Such nice people, friendly and fun to chat with. It's best to have an appointment or just call ahead. They've always been able to accommodate my schedule. (I get a gel mani/pedi.). Love love love these 3 ladies!!! Highly recommend.
