My husband went here and he said it was really nice and everybody was really polite and they explained safety procedures. They only need better parking. read more

I have been coming to this spot for several years. Oftentimes, it is a good value, it is a local spot where they still use the straightedge, it's always a lively spot. There are a few barbers who are consistently good.....and there are a few who unfortunately have been consistently unsatisfactory. I am a very forgiving guy and am still planning on patronizing this business, but will probably opt for a different barber in the future. The last two times I have been there, the gent cutting my hair has spent at least equal if not more time on his phone than he does cutting my hair...trying to make it look like he's doing something by blindly spraying or doing something to make it look like he's being attentive. I appreciate the sentiment, but my body language could not have been clearer that it was getting to be more than a little bit irritating that he's half-assing the job, especially when I emphasized how important this haircut is, as I have important appointments in the very near future and need to look presentable. When I walked in, I WANTED to wait for the gent with the buzzcut who always does an amazing job, and is very friendly....but I gave this guy a second chance....and for the second time, the "line-up" is very wavy, and for the second time, he nicked my neck in the process. LUCKILY I had a bit of extra neck whiskers to work with prior to going in, because I had to dip into that when I had to fix my own lineup. I am used to coming home from Supercuts and essentially giving myself a second haircut...I really didn't want to do it coming home from here, and hopefully, when I change barbers, I won't have to worry about that. Honestly, this cut is so subsatisfactory that I am toying with the idea of rescheduling some of the appointments until it grows in a bit. This place is cash-only and I made sure I had enough plus enough for a tip.... When he was done botching my coiffe, I gave him the exact amount, made it clear that I do not wish to have him cut my hair again, and on the way out, I'm 99.9% sure I heard the gent utter derogatory expletive. I have worked in the customer-service industry for over 25 years, and I know people have bad days, and some guests have high standards and all that jazz, but this isn't a one-off thing here. I know many people do NOT give second chances...I do, I plan to, and hope that the gent is a little more attentive to his job when on the job. friend: entiendo espanol y se lo que dijiste! read more

Primos II Barber Shop - Hair cut in sharp suit - Barbers Near Me - Boston, Massachusetts

Bro first time getting a haircut since I moved here and they ruined it. He couldn't understand what I was saying and kept cutting more than I had asked leaving me with such little hair. This Genuinely ruined my day And most likely my month. All the dudes just keep laughing. Never ever come here. read more

I'm religious and I can only get a certain cut and he didn't do what I told him and he screwed up my line up and not faded well all around disappointing read more

Great fade, consistent service, best price. I've been getting cut at Primos II for over 6 years

Great service, attitude and hair cut at a very fair price. What else do you need? Maybe an ATM machine inside the store.

Great experience for a really good price. The barber was very thorough, knowledgeable, and gave a great skin fade!

Jared is one of the barbers from VIP Barbershop on Harvard Ave in Allston, aka " The Dominicans." In there, you almost never hear English, and can't communicate with most of the guys with the clippers, yet always come out of there fresh to death. Well one of their top guys moved over to Primos and he's just a grade A, level 1 urban barber who can give you a mean temp fade with the#2-3 or scissor cut and line up a white boy's hair like me. I haven't sat at any of their other barbers chairs, but I vouch for Jared. He's real deal. read more

Good barbershop. Don't like how they don't respect the business hours. Half hour waiting on a Sunday and no one is there Update I thought they would come late again and they have. It's 11:15 pm on a Sunday and they are now where to be found read more

Guys do a great job... always skeptical about going to a new barbershop and recently moved across the street from this place so gave it a shot. Now a few cuts later and I wouldn't go anywhere else. $20 cash only, solid price, friendly environment. read more

Nothing but good things to say. I recently moved from out of state and my old barbershop was also a Dominican place. This was my first time getting a cut at Primos and they did everything as I expected but in a faster and more refined way. My barber was Ed who was very respectful and understood what I wanted. Price was cheaper than I had thought. I will be back read more

In here about once a month. The guys enjoy doing a good job. Come in knowing what you want and they might throw a little bit of their own flair in there but thats the fun in it, no? read more

So glad that a quality barber moved into this space. This is a great barber shop where you get a quality cut for only $15-16. I forget exact price as I usually just give him a $20 for cut and tip. There is a flat-screen TV to watch while you wait plus some magazines and comfy couches. Nothing fancy, but I don't really care about decor or amenities when I get my hair cut. What I care about is how my hair looks when I leave and what it cost me. The barber is very nice and listens to how you want your hair. I am terrible at explaining what I want and he's done a great job every single visit. I just got back from my third cut there and couldn't believe that they haven't gotten any reviews yet on yelp when I checked. He takes his time and uses a straight-edge razor to clean up sideburns and the rest of your hairline if needed. He is skilled with scissors too and doesn't just rely on electric clippers and can cut all different kinds of hair. If the word gets out, the waits might get longer but I'll enjoy it while it lasts... read more

I don't know if these guys cut hair good or not, but they sit outside the shop all day with some folding chairs on the sidewalk and talk so loudly that I can hear them across comm ave in my apartment, which is annoying read more

I needed a haircut bad and I couldn't get in to see my regular barber so I noticed this place was right down the road and figured I would give them a try. I have the hardest time finding a barber who can cut my hair and have it turn out looking good. I've been going to the same barber for the past 3 years and am very satisfied every time so I was skeptical about trying somewhere new. There wasn't a long wait and I was very satisfied with my haircut. I will definitely be back. If my next haircut is just as good I may have a new regular barber. read more

Jose is the best barber around, believe me I've hunted. Scissors, fades, line up's, he is impressive! It's tough to find a barber who can do it all for a reasonable price. Jose is the guy! read more

Great cuts at a great price. Friendly atmosphere and great customer service. Carlos has great skills.

Jared is a great barber. I showed him a picture and told him how I wanted it cut and he did exactly what I wanted in 30 minutes. He edged up first with clippers and then goes all the way around with the razor. Be weary, he might push your line back a little on the clipper edge up... But for the most part the edge was fine and very sharp. I'm very particular about my haircut and I walked out more than satisfied yesterday. read more

These guys have unbeatable prices for cuts. I like the familial atmosphere, and this is one of the best cuts I've gotten in a long time.

Don't make any plans around this shop's schedule. At 6pm, I called to find out when was the latest I could walk in. The answer was 7:45pm, as they close at 8pm. I left work early to make it there -- only to find the shop closed at 7:40pm. Seriously, you can't stay open during your advertised business hours? read more

The barbers at Primos are great and very talented! I went in recently to get them to fix a messed up haircut I got at one of the nationwide hair cutting stores and they did a great job sorting things out.Very professional, laid back crew, and an overall great experience. Totally recommend! read more
