It was a great experience at Belsito, best Barber experience I have had. Stephen is a great guy has a great story and the staff is polite and respectful. Great music too! read more

Great cut and atmosphere. Definitely recommend. Compared to other shops the price is not bad either.

I have been to so many barber shops in Boston, and when I found Nick by pure chance...let's just say it's been 15+ haircuts later. If I move, I may take Nick with me. Best Barber in Boston! read more

Great ambiance, excellent quality and nice people. They take walking but a reservation with a specific barber

Super inclusive environment for women to get a masculine cut. I've heard of barber shops turning away women even when they want a "men's" cut so it was nice to call and make an appointment without any pushback or questioning. Ended up that the cut was a little shorter on top than I expected likely as a result of the poor quality of my reference photo but I can tell it's going to grow nicely into what I was thinking of. Affordable, great cut, and pleasant experience! read more

Belsito Barber Shop - Before and after - Barbers Near Me - Boston, Massachusetts

This place is stellar. Been coming here a few times now and Anthony has never let me down in either his haircuts or his conversation. This place serves up the freshest cuts with a side of friendliness and conversation that I haven't even come close to finding over in Cambridge, where I live. The services they offer here are what you'd expect. I typically just get the men's haircut (with the student discount it's $25 pre tip which is super affordable. Easy access from MBTA buses. This is my new place and I'll keep coming back. read more

Belsito Barber Shop - Waiting for my fresh cut! - Barbers Near Me - Boston, Massachusetts

Nice barber, friendly and down to earth. Ask the owner his story and he will tell you.

I just walked in and got my hair cut by Shenouda. I have never been this happy with a haircut. Even with limited English, he knew exactly what I wanted and executed perfectly. I have been asking for a "Men's Regular" for years around Boston, and for some reason everyone makes me explain what I mean. Part on the side, longer on top than the sides. It should be a pretty universal naming convention. No other cities seem to have a problem with it. Shenouda knew exactly what I meant and cut it quickly, with a friendly Italian disposition, and accurately without using any greasy hair product. I will be back monthly. After 8 years in this city, I finally found my regular barber. read more

Found this shop on Yelp and thankfully, the reviews were spot on! Nick was extremely professional, very detailed, and his 19+ years of experience showed in every way. If I wasn't from MN, I'd quit my current stylist to come see him monthly. Extremely crispy fade, thanks Nick! You won't be disappointed. read more

Belsito Barber Shop - Go see Nick, a seasoned pro for less than a salon. Not to mention, it's not loud, or crazy. Very relaxing experience. - Barbers Near Me - Boston, Massachusetts

I am not the type to leave reviews BUT it would be a crime not to recommend this place. My hair is difficult so it makes it hard to trust someone to cut it but once I walked in, I felt so comfortable- the staff is welcoming the place is clean and nick was the absolute best! He took my request and made it a reality, haven't felt this satisfied after a cut in a long time. Definitely recommend read more

Thank you to the two very nice men, owner and reception, who helped me with a hair-condition emergency today. Flying without hair product and both helped me pick a conditioner to ease my product-less frizz. Thanks to you both. read more

My husband had never had a professional shave before and he absolutely loved it! The barber did an excellent job, the people that work there are super friendly and now my husband is hooked on the whole barber shop experience! I highly recommend! read more

Just moved into Boston proper and I've been looking around for a reasonably-priced barbershop without too heavy of a boy's club feel for a while. I called the day before and was able to make an appointment. I ended up with Stephen who had an open slot when I was available and he was amazing. Super nice, friendly, and talkative (but won't force a conversation). He gave me a great cut for a reasonable price. I had no wait -- and was actually sitting in the chair before my appointment slot even began -- and paying was easy because they take card and cash. Definitely headed back here for my next haircut. I highly recommend this place to women who want a high-quality cut and a great atmosphere without feeling out of place! read more

In town for a work function and thought I would find a place in Boston to get a cut. Searched through multiple places on yelp and landed on Belsito. Called in and easily set up an appointment (although i read afterwards that walk ins were welcome). Was given options of times to come in and I landed an appointment with Tony. Belsito, as it feels everything in Boston is, was just a nice walk away so I took advantage of the nice weather and got to enjoy some of the "old town" on the way. Walking into the barbershop is like a healthy flashback to simpler days, from the decor to the music playing. Tony and the gang were very welcoming and was great conversation as well. Tony nailed the cut I was going for and had helpful tips on styling my hair with the cut and type of hair I have. Ill definitely make this a stopping point on my future trips to Boston, if you're in town looking for a good cut I suggest you do too, you wont regret it! read more

Nick is the guy you want cutting your hair for the rest of FOREVER. Especially if you want a nice fade and some solid scissor work done. If he doesn't have an appointment slot open, wait for the next day -- I'm telling you it's worth it. I moved to Boston 3 years ago and tried a few different places, as one does. Until I tried a barber downtown that absolutely wrecked my hair. Like he had a centuries old, ongoing feud with a troll doll and decided to take it out on me. just. lovely. Dispirited, I came to Nick when he was at Blade and *over three months* he coaxed my hair back to life like he was mother earth and I, a torched, ravaged sapling. Working patiently with me he grew out the parts that needed growing while cutting around those areas to keep me looking marginally slick. But sometimes you don't learn your lesson. On vacation a few months later I wanted to get my haircut and again, the spirit of the first hair butcher overcame my stylist and my hair was destroyed (yes. destroyed.) Nick, once again, revived my hair and it thrived. Thrived so much that Nick's haircut was featured at my wedding and it made everyone's day. Fast forward to now, I decided to cut my hair *very* short and Nick took his time. I've never had hair this short but, I'll say, it looks pretty darn good. No thanks to me, all thanks to Nick. Seriously. Just stop reading and get your haircut at Belsito by Nick. read more

Never had a beard. Amazingly, grew a big hairy bush on my chin over the last 12 months. Very proud of my manly chin-scarf, but spouse wanted it trimmed. (She is always right.) Happily, found a wonderful beard barber in Bridaa. He's a pro, gave me great confidence, and trimmed both beard and head, with scissors, in masterful fashion. I have to tell you he's a very nice guy, an amazing family man, and can keep a light conversation lively. Belsito has the feel of a true neighborhood place, is smart-looking, without any pretentiousness. I highly recommend this shop. Start with their website. read more

I've been going here since they opened and the place is fantastic! Great haircuts, always on schedule, and a pleasant space. I always ask for Stephen, who is great, but my roommates go to some of the other barbers and recommend them as well. Best to call ahead if you're aiming to go during peak hours (weekends and evenings). read more

Kudos to Steven for opening such a great shop! The place is welcoming, clean, perfect decor and there is always a pleasant face and smile to great you. Same when you call to make an appointment. I was proud to be one of Nick's first haircut here when they opened and I have a literally been to Belsito's every week since! Maintaining a sharp, professional look is imperative for me and my business and Nick knows exactly how to cut my hair just write each time. Can't say enough positive things about this barbershop but I will leave it at this, every week it is one of the highlights I get to look forward too because I leave there feeling like 1 million bucks! read more

Belsito Barber Shop - Looking sharp! - Barbers Near Me - Boston, Massachusetts

Walked in after realizing the place I originally meant to go to had closed. I didn't realize Belsito was about to close for the night. I never want to be that person and I apologized and said I'd make an appointment for another time. The Guys were super nice about it and welcoming, insisting I stay and saying it's no problem at all. I got a great cut. read more

I have been getting my hair cut by Nick since 2012. My cuts are consistently perfect and the conversation is always amusing. Steve has built a great business and has many great barbers working at the shop. If you are looking to get a great cut at a reasonable price try them out. read more

Belsito has been my go-to spot for a haircut for a few years now. I changed job locations and my first thought was 'where will I get my haircut now?' I still go there because of the quality cuts. I've had both Stephen and Nick as barbers multiple times, and both do a fantastic job. I've yet to try the other barbers, but based on reviews I can tell they do a great work as well. read more

Great atmosphere, solid haircuts, and reasonably priced. I usually go to Bridaa but have gone to Stephen and Nick as well. All great guys and professionals who know how to treat a customer. They can talk about anything with you, thehave good banter with each other, and they also know when to leave you be if you're in a quiet mood. Belsito takes 20min appointments, and they almost always start on time +\- a few minutes, which I appreciate as someone who is usually on a schedule. My haircuts here have always been what I'm looking for. I have recommended to a few friends who are also recurring customers now. Thanks guys - keep doing what you're doing. read more

They don't know how to give fades. I also have cuts on my head from my haircut. Over priced for the horrible quality. Do NOT recommend

I have been getting my haircut by Stephen for awhile ,the last 2 haircuts were very bad the sides were different lengths , the back wasn't even, he stopped during the haircut to talk on the phone , then our conversation was all about him & his new shop at the end of the haircut which was rushed he said to go on yelp and leave a review ,then the receptionist told me to give 5 stars & what to say in the review after I have been a loyal client & followed him to his new business I found out that all along I was lied to by him ,he told me he was opening his own shop because Blade Barbershop s lease was up & they were closing which I found out was not true & also that Stephen ,Nick ,Bridaa were fired from blade a good place that they worked at for many years very unethical & very bad business practice. read more

Wish I could give more than 5 stars. Bridaa has been cutting my hair exclusively for the past 5+ years and I've known the rest of the team at Belsito for several years. Absolutely Terrific. Beautiful, new space! Great location. Experienced and friendly barbers, Bridaa, Stephen and Nick and the wonderful receptionist, Erica. My partner and I had gone to Blade when they were cutting hair there. However, we made the right decision to follow them, afterall it is about the people as much as the location. Loving this new space and the atmosphere so much better. I just left for my first cut there with Bridaa and everyone was smiling and greeted me with superior hospitality. As they did when I left as well. Sounds like I am going over the top, but I am not. It is really this good. Plus I love my fresh haircut before my vacation to Puerto Rico tomorrow. Check it out! read more

A hidden jewel in Boston. I was looking for a good barber shop in Boston and read reviews for almost 30 odd places in Boston, finally decided to go for this place and was not disappointed. The appointment booking process was super quick. I got the appointment for same day and they also take walk-ins so that's another good part about Belsito. Bridaa took me in and he used his experience to give me a good haircut. I am very happy with the cut and would visit belsito for my haircuts again. read more

I have nothing but awesome things to say about Belsito. The new shop is clean, professional and welcoming. My biggest praise is for Nick who's been cutting my hair for a few years now. He's a true pro and I've had nothing but amazing cuts from him. I've trusted him with my haircut before a big job interview, before engagement photos, and 2 days before my wedding.
