This was by far the worst customer service experience I've ever had. Ordered online to pick up at 3 o'clock for an order to be picked up at 512. Arrived at 518 to pick up my order, then told it won't be ready for another 20 minutes. Then after waiting 20 minutes we're asked if it's ok that they ran out of lettuce. Will never go here again, I've frequented the Havertown location for years and have never had these issues. Something really to be re-evaluated at this location. read more

On August 3rd I ordered lunch on the Primos website. I paid when I placed my order. As soon as I hit submit they called me to inform me that what I ordered they didn't have. So I said please refund and cancel my order we no longer want it. The guy on the phone said okay. For some reason I did not trust this so I called back to verify that the money would be put back on my card or did I need to go in. The guy who answered said it was processed back to my card. I wait a few days and receive no refund. I reach out to Primos through their website because I want my money back I email back and forth with the guy he tells me we're all good I will receive my money. Almost 2 weeks later here we are and I received 9$ back when I spent 31$. The guy told me this can't be right and I should still receive my full refund. Well I still have not. I'm sick of trying to track down my money! I think that when you don't receive any goods you should be fully refunded. Terrible business! read more

Omg, since the new owner bought this place in the Fall I am obsessed. The people are so extremely friendly and the quality and freshness of all the meats are divine. This is definitely my go to every week. Just ordered a whole tray for a get together this weekend and can't wait to see what that is like. Love, love this place. read more

Great spot for a quick hoagie! New owner has made the experience even better. Customer service is over the top and they were more than helpful to recommend something new. I usually stick to my regular order (Italian) but wanted to try something different. They put together a Turkey Diablo for me and I was blown away. So good! So i'll start by saying AWFUL AND UNPROFESSIONAL WORK PLACE. beginning with the phone call i got told by 3 different people to hold in which they all hung up. finally someone got on the phone after 10 minutes of trying. This is where the awful starts- this place is run by children. immature disrespectful children. The employees were screaming at each other trying to be funny but was actually just obnoxious. I have been hearing this place is going down. But I figure give them a shot. Placed an order for a Italian Diablo, oil, pickles, sweat peppers. They tell me 15-20 min. I realized they did not ask if I wanted lettuce, tomatoes,or onions.I call back 5-8 min later and asked to add tomatoes, onions, lettuce to the sandwich. The guy tells me it already done and wrapped. I asked why would you tell me 15-20 min when you will have it done in 5min. The guy said he will make the changes. I pick up sandwich, get home and of course there is no tomatoes, onions or lettuce. Good sandwich, but OK hoagie. The roll was a sesame seed bun which could be found at any Quiznos or Subway nationwide. Razor thin, freshly sliced lunch meat, just as it should be. My concern was the overall food safety. The store is hot. Really hot. The AC was working, but the walk in refrigeration and the Rational Combi were just putting tons of heat into the room. BTW. What municipality allows a commercial appliance which creates grease laden air to be used without at least a vapor exhaust hood. This doesn't speak well for any restaurant located in Springfield, PA. Obviously very low food sanitation standards. But, there were two, very large catering trays of portion cut sandwiches. Who knows how long they had been sitting at room temperature, but the room was very hot. These should have been refrigerated. Given the amount of time this meat was left in a hot room, plus the transport time in a hot car to their destination. This is a food borne outbreak waiting to happen. read more

What else can you give this place but 5 stars? There are good hoagies then there are those with incredibly unique fresh rolls and the most tender lunch meat your mouth can experience. That's where Primo's sits. Its a little pricey but worth every penny. read more

Not your mommas' ham sandwich. 90 degrees out. Stopped by Primo on the way to the Touch Me Museum. Wow, the sub (woops! I mean hoagie) was refreshing. Excellent bread, fresh veggies and they cut the meat when I ordered. Lots of choices and tons of meat. And if that wasnt good enough, it tasted just fantastic. This place make a killer Italian sub sandwich. On a great seeded roll with what you can tell to be high quality meats and ingredients you really can't go wrong. I've eaten at the one in Media, Springfield and downtown Philly and they're all consistently good. Awful experience today. Called and placed an order at 12 for two hoagies. Was told an hour wait, okay no big deal - we really wanted hoagies. Get there at 12:50 to pick them up. You can't enter the store, you have to call and tell them you are there - so we did. And then we waited and waited and waited. We called again at 1:10 and was told they are running late - 10 more minutes. Okay WTH at this point. So now we are sitting in the car for 30 minutes. In those thirty minutes we see one order come out (a hoagie tray). Kid forgets all the condiments that go with it, we watched the guy wait another 10 minutes for them to come out. There were multiple cars waiting. We called again and the guy said it's almost ready - they are really running behind asked us what we ordered again. Literally we saw one order leave the building in 30 minutes! The best part of the situation was that the kid running out from the store delivering the tray was not wearing a mask - he didn't even have one around his neck. I called and canceled - no apology or anything just an okay. We then called primos in media - was told 15 minutes. The order was ready when we arrived. So mad I wasted all that time. Worst customer service I've experienced in a long time. Sent my friends sister to pick up hoagies and after some confusion she left in tears because of what was said to her and how the situation was handled. This was my second experience at this location where the employee/owner handled their customer EXTREMELY POORLY. Its a shame because I have been to other Primo's locations where the customer service is as great as the food. I would avoid the Primo's location in Media at all costs. read more

This place has a rude and lazy staff. They "close" at 8pm on Friday night but if you call at 7:40 they will answer the phone but say "we are done taking orders for the night". Ummmm what??!! This location SUCKS. Go elsewhere! read more

Very good hoagies with deli meat that you can tell is fresh and high quality. Primo will make a hoagie any way you want it, but unfortunately their half/full size bread only comes sesame-seeded. I've been hoping for a while now that they would offer a non-seeded bread choice. Still, what's inside the roll makes Primo a delicious choice. read more

Good hoagies however if you want to come to this specific location be prepared to be stared down by one of their employees. I came in here today waiting for my two hoagies to be prepared. While I was waiting this African American employee kept staring at me. Usually I can just blow it off and not be bothered by it. However, this particular employee kept staring to the point that I became very uncomfortable and had to ask one of his coworkers if there was a reason for him to keep staring at me. His coworker was very nice and apologize for him (which he shouldn't have done). As I was walking out the door with my order I could hear all the other employees laughing, I do not know if it was towards me or somebody else, however I just feel like this has very poor management. I believe that when you are on the job you have to be professional and you shouldn't try to be flirtatious or make your customers feel uncomfortable. read more

Its 330pm on Halloween. I placed an order in person yesterday for pickup tonight at 5pm. I get called on my cell phone at work and told that the store has run out of rolls and they are closing early so I have to come pick up my tray. When I say to the girl, you have got to be kidding. I am at work and cant just leave. So, I had to call a neighbor and ask them to go pick it up. Then, I called back the answering machine picked up 4X before I got a live person to tell them to please wait since my neighbor was coming for the tray. I asked for the manager who then gave me an attitude asking with an attitude what the problem is. The owner, Mr. DeMarco, needs to hire employees who understand what customer service is all about and teaches them how to speak to customers when the store is being run inproperly. How does a Hoagie shop run out of rolls? It is not the first time and I am sure it wont be the last. Since this owner took over, this store has gone down hill. I will be sure to send this information to all my contacts in Springfield so they know the horrible service. The manager said Well I gave him $10. off. I don't know what you expect. I just wanted someone to apologize for the inconvenience and be polite...but I guess that was too much to ask for! read more
