    Food order

I ordered a cheesesteak and The Bobbie Homemade Turkey online, with extra cranberry sauce and stuffing but specifically requested NO MAYO. Unfortunately, when I got home, The Bobbie had mayonnaise on it. I tried calling the restaurant to address the issue but was placed on hold for over 10 minutes. I am unable to drive back and would like to receive the correct order or my money back. Overall, the cheesesteak was good but the mistake with the mayo was disappointing as I can't eat my sandwich and the customer service could be improved being left on hold over 10 minutes. There is no contact on the site where the order was placed.

I won't deny that the impossible cheese steak was delicious literally the best I really have ever had!!!!!, but do know I suffered afterwards because they cook everything on the same grill, I know some places that separate the impossible foods and this is not one of them, so eat an impossible hot sub at your own risk.

Tonight's dinner in bed series. First time trying, here we have a wagyu cheesesteak. I believe a good cheesesteak always start with the bread and should have some bite and texture to it. This one way too tender, I guess it being wagyu explains the way it just melted in your mouth. I'm glad I did try it to know the difference, but future references, stick with the classic cheesesteak. Happy eating, endless cheat days

I hate to give 1 star, so I won't. Maybe their other sandwiches are better. But they really almost deserve it for this one. I ordered the Bobbie. Excited to see it since I love the WAWA gobbler and it's obviously off season so I wanted to try it. Needless to say, it looked like someone ate my sub and spit it back up onto the bread. And it didn't taste any better.

[650] This Capriotti's Sandwich Shop is located in a large strip mall near Staples. Tons of parking. Inside is very clean with tons of seating. Self serve fountain drink and tons of chip choices. The staff was really nice and helpful. Very friendly to my son which was great. The grill was open to the customers which is nice to see. Chicken cheesesteak was VERY good. I would definitely come back for this sandwich again. Regular cheesesteak - eh not a fan. It felt salty? not sure if that's right but it was definitely off. I would not order this again. I saw some other items I wanted to try so I'll definitely be back.

Capastrani and turkey Bobbie were ordered as a surprise and what a delightful surprise it was. They were freaking fantastic, if I had this option in my neck of the world I would be hitting it up on the reg. Soooooo much filling, great ratios of meat n veg.

Burnt overcooked meat with barely any cheese and I ordered extra cheese. I was looking forward to a GOOD cheesesteak while I was in Philly.

Solid sandwich every time I order. My favorite sandwich to order is the Bobbie, it's phenomenal. Staff are friendly and restaurant is clean.

I feel like they're Phoning in the Bobby last two times I've ordered one. The stuffing was terrible and the turkey is not quality pieces.

When I first stopped in here it was in a whim, and although they do have a selection of whimsical, sweet, dare I say, ridiculous and sweet coffee beverages, they were able to make me a traditional Italian macchiato. I had been unable to find a good, even passable REAL macchiato anywhere, and they delivered in spectacular fashion. Not only was the drink silky, strong, and small, it was made with outstanding Italian roasted espresso that has a different character than the standard, heavier-roasted American palate has come to be used to. This alone would have been enough for me to return time and time again when I was in the area, but after getting breakfast sandwich on a whim, this instantly became a weekly stop; more than that, a destination. Fast forward a few years and the initial attraction of coffee, sandwich, and friendly staff has transformed into a beautiful relationship where I can easily walk in, everyone knows me before I am all the way through the door, and even knowing my idiosyncrasies, are still excited to see me and listen to me prattle on about whatever might be the story of the day. The time spent here has given me the opportunity to try nearly everything on the menu and try every drink available. Including all the dry goods, pasta for sale, frozen trays of delicious Italian staples, and more. I am not one to just stick to the things I know I enjoy as I am always on a journey for something interesting and exciting, so whenever something shows up I am getting that rather than something in my "comfort zone". This has led to me traditionally losing interest or finding that the quality of a place declines for myself over time, especially multiple years. Not the case here at Napoletano, it has only done the exact opposite and gotten much more rewarding and somehow even more delicious and embracing of people and everyone who comes through the door. This brings me to my most recent food adventures into the menu here, the newest additions for the most part, the added amazing hoagie list. I have had two. The first I tried was the Gondolier, which I was enamored with for weeks. I had been there too early to order lunch time and time again, and then FINALLY, one day it was about time for lunch to be available and Michelle, the wonderful woman running the front of house and so much more, was able to get me this sandwich just a bit early. It had it all....outstanding bread, roasted red peppers, seriously premium meats, both standard deli and cured. However, something just missed the mark for me. I couldn't believe it. I don't know what and I don't know why. I was immediately disappointed, likely because I had hyped this up in my head for so long and I have come to expect so much from Napoletano, I simply couldn't believe that this wasn't the best hoagie I had ever enjoyed. That fact has eaten at me for at least a month now, but today that all changed, and is possibly why I finally found my voice to put all my thoughts together an write this after so many years. During my visit to say hello today, I realized it was once again right around the time where I could order sandwiches. I toyed with the thought of the cutlet sandwiches or even the Cuban which is amazing, but after going around and around and around talking to everyone working about this and that, I finally decided on another hoagie; the Sicilian. Kris, another of my favorite people along with Fanny (who was on vacation) helped me inch toward this one based on my description of my whole previous experience, and tbh is sandwich is so interestingly unique. Topped with lemon and orange zest, it doesn't sound like it would work, but once you take your first bite, you begin to examine your entire existence. Why have you never had a specialty Italian hoagie topped with citrus zest??? The question has been running through my head all day since lunch, and I still cannot understand why I haven't been enjoying something like this my entire life. So many years lost of amazing sandwich experiences.....this sandwich was so divine, despite looking slightly barren and strange, that it blew apart my entire disappointment I had been holding since the gondolier. I will absolutely try the other four in the list. I would have anyway, but this definitely took that mission off of life support and put it front and center. There are so many reasons to go to Napoletano. I could spend another thirty paragraphs writing about what is great about this place, the people, the drinks, the space, all of it. But instead of doing that, you should just go here. Even if you're not close, and enjoy!

It feeds with equal care the souls who never left, the faithful and the wanderers who departed yet return whenever the heart grows heavy. Whether one stayed rooted in Media or lived the same boyhood as our traveler with daily walks to Rose Tree Elementary, counter duty at Old Chester Steaks, the proud opening of Joycelyn's, and countless 1 dollar meals sustained by Tiny T's Just sayin....Van Horn's delivers the genuine article. No compromises. Only home. Unwrap after the long journey, eyeball a long Italian roll soft and firm enough to hold its treasures across 3000 miles. Sharp provolone meets paper-thin stacks of genoa, capicola and ham piled high in the old-fashioned way. I ordered the Satchmo, a buffalo chicken, Italian hoagie, ham hoagie, 4 chicken tenders and fries which came to a grand total of $85. Phew. This was my first time here, but I've heard the food and cheese steaks were great so I was ok with things at this point. I placed my order for pickup and was told it would be 20 minutes. I came in around the 20ish minute mark and waited for 25 more minutes. There was only 1 other person waiting with me. I did see 3-4 other people come in pickup and leave while I waited, but it wasn't busy by standards. While waiting is when I when I observed how unorganized and dis shoveled the staff were. The lady upfront was kind, attentive, and seemed to be running the show putting orders together. But, when she asked for help she didn't get any. She asked another staff member to help bag a specific sandwich for an order, several times, and it went in the guys ear and right out the other. I could also hear them scrambling in the back working on my order, and complaining about how many Italian hoagie orders came in right at the same time. Maybe they were behind, maybe they accidentally let mine go with a different order? This is all speculation but they were definitely overwhelmed and it shouldn't have taken that long for my order. The cheese steaks were good, and the Italian hoagie was very hearty! They do not skimp on meat, but the hoagie bread was so hard most of it was thrown away. I don't care for shredded gums. Overall, not a good first time experience. Minus a star for the price, minus a star for the delayed pickup time, and minus 1/2 for the rock hard Italian hoagie bread. The steaks were good but everything else outweighed the food quality.
