This has always been a great place to get food. The staff has ALWAYS been super nice, I've never had anything bad to say about any of their food, and they've always been on time when I order from them for pickup. Everyone who's leaving one star reviews for silly things such as gloves, masks, etc needs to calm down. This is a small business in delco that's been around for a while. It's evident that the people who are crying over the small stuff, and are willing to drag this business down over something meaningless have never worked a hard day in their lives. Once again, this is delco. If you want to wait 2 hours to get fancy food by people who change gloves every time they come in contact with a new ingredient to prevent cross contamination, go somewhere else and cry about them. Ordered three baked inside outs after hearing about them, Buffalo chicken, BBQ chicken and plain pizza style. They arrived nice and hot and were big enough for a few meals. I sliced them into strips with a pizza slicer and was impressed by the flavors. I thought they were a great value at between $5 and $6.50 a piece. Flavor wise they were a tad more on the doughy side, I would have liked more of the inside flavor, but I think overall they were tasty and delicious. I've grown up with double decker, but I give up... yeah they've got decent food and all, but when it costs over $18 for a small chicken parm sandwich (on a Kaiser) and a mere order of mozzarella sticks... that's just too much! Their prices are so stinking high now that I have no choice but to deduct 3 stars. It pains me to do, but I feel it's quite fair. The chicken parm sandwich I had only had 2 chicken tenders on it. That's a fair amount of chicken for that sized sandwich, but how dare they charge over $9 for it!? I'm sorry, I know prices everywhere have gone up, but one meal for one person (not including a soda) should not be almost $20. Double Decker ain't the kind of place who serves food that justifies that price range. I'm sorry, they're just not! They should be ashamed of themselves charging these prices. $12 for "double decker fries"... WHAT!? It's just fries with a 3 cheese blend, some bacon and ranch. Ask yourself how does that justify $12!? Or the $8 they charge for 5 stinking mozzarella sticks!? ...For real!? They're getting a little greedy now. After COVID they raised their prices so much I stopped buying as often. There are too many competitors around. Also, the paper menu they mail out is not is not the same price as the current costs. COVID-19 Based Review: So the restaurant is curbside only during this time. No one is allowed to step into the restaurant, however, we can very well see everything going on inside. As soon as we pulled up to receive the food and before driving off, we noticed more than half of the staff inside without masks and gloves. The curbside girl puts her mask on when delivering each order but not when she's in the restaurant, nor did she wash her hands after handling the POS before dropping off the next order outside. Only two people behind the line handling all the cooking and assembling each dish are wearing masks. With everything going on I don't believe there's much more explanation to how wrong this is. Safe to say we threw away the food and sanitized everything we touched, including the car. For now, I would stay away from here until the pandemic is over. read more

I've had the displeasure of ordering a Stromboli and 10 Buffalo wings. Normally the food is decent but this issue isn't with the food but the service. Not only did they forget the Stromboli, but also the honey bbq sauce for the wings. If you want to try the most unique pizza in Philly, Double Decker Pizza is the place to go! They are "Home of the Original Inside-Out Pizza". Don't be fooled into thinking the Inside-Out Pizza is just a calzone. It is certainly not! It is much better! The cheese is oozy, the toppings are fresh, and the crusts are baked to perfection. I honestly don't know how to explain how delicious the crust is. When we went, we tried a variety of options including The Deluxe, BBQ Chicken, and Plain. My boyfriend and I both enjoyed Plain the best because of the simplicity and emphasis on the crust. 10/10 will be getting Double Decker take-out again! read more

Let me start by saying that I LOVE Double Decker inside outs and normally have no problems.  I have given this place a lot of business in the last couple years.  Spent a lot of money here and am a regular customer, so imagine my surprise when I ordered an inside out for delivery last night and the delivery driver gave me attitude for making him deliver only one inside out (I had even ordered a few things for the family the night before!).  I always tip maximum or above as I did last night.  He actually asked me "did you only order one inside out?" and when I said yes he told me "You're killin me".  I'm sorry.....I thought that was your job and I tipped you about 20% for the effort of driving those 7 or 8 minutes from your shop.  It's gonna "kill me" to go without my favorite inside outs, but I will think twice next time I get a hankerin for one.  I found his behavior EXTREMELY rude! read more

I order here often because their food is good and they have a good variety, however, they seem to 90% of the time mess up on my order. When I call back to tell them they messed up they fix the order but it takes another 30 minutes to get what was missing, so an additional 30 minutes from the original delivery time of 45-60 minutes. This is frustrating because they can't seem to get orders right-EVER!!! read more

I came in here the other day for an inside out and was pleasantly surprised by the service and hospitality provided to me. The place was far from empty and possessed warm and lively energy that invigorated and encouraged my visit. I had the inside out for the first time and I'm actually a bit displeased with my choice. They give you a fork and knife which is actually highly unintuitive when you consider the value of the in and out is that it's a comprehensive let deep fried slice of pizza. Just eat it with your hands. Also wait to cool. Also had the cheese fries over my stay. I would definitely recommend the cheese whiz or cheddar cheese fries as the three cheese really possessed little to no taste over the fries. Inside out is what this place is all about. Inside out pizza - fried or baked. Fresh made to order. The fried version was unique for a pazzarotti - the outside crust was lite and flaky. Actually a little different but in a good way. Lots and lots of ingredients to choose to make your own. My wife had the baked. She would order it again ( that is actually a strong endorsement from her ). Prices were high overall but average for the suburbs. My only complaint was that the mozzarella cheese seemed to lack flavor. But the sauce was very good. But this is definitely a place you can order from and be happy.
