The cafe is located inside a bigger building and can easily be missed if you are not looking for it. There are signs in the window. No big sign outside to direct you. Ample parking available. Serving staff were attentive and friendly. The food was excellent. I especially loved the homemade potato chips. They are so much better than processed bagged chips. I asked for recommendations before I ordered. I was directed to Dad's Ribeye sandwich. Oh so good! Thinly sliced steak with melted cheese and peppers. It was gooey, messy and the perfect comfort food. I highly recommend a visit.

It's lunch and dinner with a pretty small menu but the options are all delicious sounding! They also have specials as well. It was nice to see the same chef and some of the same staff when we went. There's only a handful of tables maybe 10 or so and then there is a counter at the windows. They had a nice mural as well as a nice neon sign. The whole design is clean and simple. It's one of the establishments inside "The Vault Town Center" which is a repurposed bank housing several businesses and eateries. The staff was super nice our waitress was very sweet. We went with one of their "handhelds" and one of their "steaks". The double cheese meatball parm and the boomer steak. The boomer steak was my favorite of the two because it had a really great flavor profile between the ribeye, the steakhouse onion white cheddar, mushrooms and crispy onions- great texture and taste! The meatball was also really good. Very hearty sized meatballs on a garlic bread roll with provolone and whipped ricotta. I didn't really taste much of the garlic flavor but I really enjoyed the ricotta on the sandwich. The portions were decent. I was full but not overly stuffed. Both of our sandwiches came with chips but you could upgrade to fries - which were super thin and crispy. I might upgrade next time ! Overall I'm excited for this location and to get a taste of Sammy's beyond their usual "brunch" Hours. Cannot wait to come back and to see what else they do !

Now this is unbelievable that I am the first to review. So this is gonna be an experience…read more The beginning First, very delightful on the phone. They got an amazing menu with vegetarian as in portobello mushrooms, but they also have grilled or chopped chicken, which is pretty cool. How, what, why It is a dry steak, not burnt. Really good! p. s. ( some real Philly cheesesteaks make sure it is actually burnt just slightly on the edges to get that super grilled taste. While others are so wet, it soaks through the bun and you can't even pick it up. And if you take it on a trip for 10 minutes...Inedible. Did you know that a ' real steak' is not made w oil ; but spots of water? That's because the fat on it should be good enough in balance that it doesn't stick.) Taste, smell, satisfaction It is very juicy and not oily, (which in my opinion goes through the bun when you take it out, such as when you go to Henry Avenue, or a couple local places) nope. No wet roll. Awesome and great to take for later and re-warm without it getting all screwed up. Idea for goin' South Like taking 50 of them down to Virginia or Tennessee. In a cooler. That would work. My pics I start with just a steak, sesame roll fried onions. I added two kinds of Parmesan, a touch of red pepper, salt, and yes, tomato sauce. Sorry I was raised on that. Ketchup is too sweet for me. Litmus test If you eat a steak plain, it'll really tell you how good it is. How much gristle is in it etc. This had NO PERCEPTION OF GRISTLE. NICE! Rating This was excellent. Prime protein, nice roll - Lisco's of course - well done. So you are prepared; While I will eat 1/2 of a sandwich and be very satisfied, the rolls are smaller. And the price of ALL steaks is higher. You know how your ice cream is shrunk? I actually didn't know my wife pointed out to me. Well, the rolls have shrunk. So sandwiches for four people will cost a minimum of $65 with tip. Get outside. It's worth it your kids will love it. I hope to be there. Thanks for a great sandwich.

She was so kind and thorough with questions about the menu and the items in the store. - The selection is phenomenal. Not only do they have a large, diverse menu, but they have a ton of stuff you can take home. - Reasonably priced. Why would you ever go to a chain sandwich shop when you could eat here? Neggies: - The sandwich was a bit dry, which I think could have been fixed with more oil and whatever spread they used. - The meat was on the lighter side vs the size of the bread. For a deli sandwich, it's important for me to have that great bread to meat ratio! Overall, a good experience and I look forward to giving them another shot!

We each got a cheesesteak, they also come in a 2 foot size, but the regular sized ones are Packed and Overflowing with meat, cheese and whatever toppings your little heart desires. We also tried their Wings, well done and dry with ranch dressing and Buffalo sauce on the side. They were very good and decently priced! 10 wings for about $12. We got an order of cheese fries and regular fries and their Portions do Not disappoint! We were Stuffed to the gills by the end of our meal. Open the double wiz and it was less than regular wiz previously. Made the meatball a regular. Total now was $64.40. Wish I could add a picture of the receipts. I guess I can cross this place off my list to visit again. It's a shame because I grew up on Pudge's.

The restaurant is located in a small strip mall. Honestly I didn't even know it was there until someone pointed it out to me. Service was good. The server was attentive and courteous. Food was good. I wanted a meal so ordered an entree which was served with a salad. I noticed mozzarella sticks on the menu. Love this things. I ordered a small thinking this would work as a sort of appetizer. Quantity of sticks was decent. I ended up taking a few home with me as a snack. My entree was Florentino which is a cream sauce with spinach, mozzarella and sun dried tomato server over your choice of chicken or veal. I chose chicken. Pasta was included with the entree. I choose angel hair pasta and asked for the chicken to be served over the pasta. I intended to mix it anyway so may as well have the cook do it for me. I liked the meal. Quantity was good. Three chicken cutlet with sauce served over the pasta. I also took a bit of this home for later. My only complaint would be the amount of sauce and cheese layered on top of the dish. Although the sauce was good, there was just too much of it on my plate. A bit less sauce and cheese would have been good. There were a fair amount of folks picking up pizza orders during my visit. Guessing the pizza will be good. Will be back again to try the pizza/sandwich options.

As soon as I walked through the doors at Amici, the ambiance made me feel transported back to those wonderful places I remember from so long ago. It was a feeling of comfort, familiarity, and cravings for all the deliciousness housed within. The bread counter on the left was the first stop where I picked up a marble rye and some hoagie rolls. The staff were extremely friendly with suggestions and slicing up the loaf we got. Then it was on pick up two small tomato pies, which are a box of tasty goodness. I like that that carry items from other bigger Italian markets like Corropolese and Talluto's. This time around I ordered some sandwiches to go and my dad was super impressed with the Italian hoagie I ordered for him. All the sandwiches come with pickles. You do have to pay extra for hot peppers. The staff is nice and the place is always clean, I'd be interested to try more of their sandwiches as they had a pretty decent menu. Definitely a nice spot in the middle of a Lansdale strip mall.
