Ordered the hot spicy tofu with chowmein. SPICY. I can usually eat spicy but this plate had a lot of chili in the sauce. Plenty of flavor but I definitely cried eating my dinner. Their chow mein is amazing. I love the noodles they use and the flavor is distinct. Not oily! There are no dine in options at this time. Prime Wok Express lives up to the hype. They serve some of the the best Chinese food I've ever eaten. Although it appears like knock-off panda express, they serve grade A, top quality Chinese food. The food is more Americanized, but everything was incredible. Super flavorful, fresh ingredients, and made right to order. The chow mein was honestly the best chow mein I've ever had. Be warned, anything marked "spicy" is legitimately pretty darn spicy (and my family can handle spice fairly well). My favorite of all the dishes was the Sesame chicken. We also tried the Mongolian beef and general's chicken, as well as potstickers, egg rolls, and cream cheese wontons. Everything was delicious and well liked by all. The prices are very reasonable (honestly better than most competitors), but it isn't really great for sit-down/dine-in so I understand that helps with making things more affordable. The portions are hefty and I was very happy to have leftovers for the next day. Service was super fast. From ordering to pick-up was about 10 minutes. You'd think with how quickly they got everything ready that the food would be stale, probably mass cooked but it was all fresh, made to order! They do great takeout business and I can totally see why. The atmosphere is "fast casual" like a step-up above panda express, but not a tradition sit-down Chinese restaurant. It was enough for lunch and dinner. The beef was tender and just spicey enough. The chow mein was great because I like the larger noodles, unlike Panda. This is my new go to place for chinese food. Portions here are huge but the food itself is average. It's def quantity over quality. Chicken is always tough and chewy. Ordered sesame chicken and sweet sour chicken but didn't have much flavor. We love this place. It's nestled in a a business park area with surrounding businesses and a local school. When time permits and we're hungry we stop by for their lunch specials. It's cuisine and we always order the Szechuan shrimp (super spicy), chow mein with chicken, and orange chicken. Heads up if you're ordering for catering the portions are huge. I ordered a few things from Prime Wok to add to the Chinese New Years dinner I was making for my family. When we eat Chinese fast food, we normally order from Panda Express; though, we have tried a lot of the Chinese restaurants in this area but on Chinese New Years I knew they were going to be really busy. We waited an hour for to-go food last year. I wanted to compare it to Panda Express. Their orange chicken was pretty good flavorwise, maybe not as tender inside as Panda but still worth getting. Though Panda doesn't have a shrimp chow mein, I thought Prime Wok's chowmein tasted ok, probably wouldn't order again. It could have been better with plain cooked shimp not breaded shrimp, a little more vegetables and thinner soy sauce as the noodles were pretty dark colored. Overall, my family prefers Panda for fast Chinese food but I'll be back to try something else. Fast service, local family owned, and portions were good size. I'm not discouraged yet. I stopped by after work one afternoon with a craving for Chinese take-out. While browsing through the menu, I noticed none of the dishes sit on a heating tray; everything is cooked to order, which is a big plus. FOOD: Prime Wok Grande - Hot Basil Tofu and Fried Rice: Holy bean curd! My order came with an incredible amount of tofu sauteed with vegetables in a thick and slightly spicy sauce. By just looking at the picture, it's clear the cooks packed as much as they possibly could in the container! The tofu was fried well and had the perfect texture. Accompanying it was a mountain of fried rice, which was simple but had solid flavor. Prime Wok Grande - Mongolian Beef and Fried Rice: Wow...just wow. There was an incredible amount of beef packed next to (and under) my side of fried rice. The beef was tender and flavorful and accompanied by a good amount of vegetables; I believe the sauce used is similar to the one for the Hot Basil Tofu. Their Mongolian Beef had a good spiciness, too. With the amount of food I received, I'd say both orders were equivalent to four to six meals! Food took about 15 minutes to be ready, which was not an issue since it was all cooked to order. Everyone here is friendly and welcoming. We have similar options in SoCal, but Prime Wok is a beast of its own. Tasty food, very reasonable prices, and massive portions? That is what I look for in a take-out joint!
