Absolutely love this place. This is one of those gems that you find. Its in the back of a plaza tucked in the corner. Plenty of seating when you walk in. So many things to choose from far as which type of chicken you want. Getting the potstickers are mandatory for me, same with doing half and half on the rice and chow mein. The portion is where they really win you over though. They load that togo box up to the max! Appreciate them so much for not skimping their customers ever. You can definitely have a full meal and have a whole nother meal to take home for later with how much they give you. We came with a party of 7 the other day and our food came out in probably less than 10 minutes. Super efficient, super yum, super full to go boxes. I ordered from Prime Wok express on doordash but the food was so good I wanted to leave a review on their doordash as well as here. This is my second time ordering from them but my first time trying their fried rice and it definitely won't be my last. As you can see from the picture, you can feed multiple people for the price of one meal. The rice was really moist and soo flavorful, some places you can tell their shrimp isn't fresh but this definitely isn't one of those places as the shrimp was hella fresh and well cooked same as the rice. I didn't take a picture because I ate them quite quickly as I had been fasting all day and was starving but I ordered the veggie spring rolls and the fried shrimp sides and both were mouthwatering. They tasted so good paired with the sweet and sour sauce they provided. The fried shrimp was very nice and crispy and the spring rolls were also fresh and you could tell they had been just made despite me ordering only 30 min before closing. This restaurant uses MSG. Couldn't eat all our food. Had reactions. When we asked they said it was in a few of their sauces. They were busy so we took a chance that it wasn't in the dishes we ordered. Our bad...we should have been more careful. But MSG is not necessary if the food is prepared by a good chef. read more

It was awkward to dish our "to go" containers onto the paper plates with only the two tiny plastic forks. Went into Prime Wok today for lunch. I always get the Prime Wok Grande Mongolian Beef w/Chow Mein or fried rice. OMFG! The price has gone up a LOT. When I started this as a regular thing (2020) it cost $9.50, then it went up to $13.50 and today...it now costs $16.50!!! Bidenomics "working" here or price gauging? What ever it is...I gotta ask will prices of things ever go down? Anywhere? For anything? Prime Wok is still the best Chinese food in town and I will stay loyal to them, but perhaps not as often as I used to. This place has been my favorite but the last few times food has been somewhat disappointing.... Mongolian beef was drenched in sauce, (so was the fried rice) and too salty to finish. This time the orange chicken was coated with too much starch (they probably put way too much corn or potato starch at the end) and did not taste any orangeness. We tried prime on the advice of friends and wow!! Right now it's takeout only- we went thinking we would eat in. I was bummed a bit thinking that we would have a long wait. The staff is fantastic and we ordered our family dinner (3 entrees, rice, + side) and the food came quickly and very hot! I love when a restaurant does little things to improve the experience and Prime, well they take this next level. The food was packed in a box and well secured for our drive home. When I unpacked the food, the to-go containers were the styrofoam type and I noticed that each had a corner cut out. This was to allow the steam to escape, and not condensate on the food. Each entree was hot after driving home, and every plate was labeled well. We had General Tsao Chicken, orange chicken, and Mongolian chicken, with a side of chow mein. The food was incredible, in fact, the best Chinese we have had in the area. As far as value goes, the serving sizes were generous and the cost was incredibly competitive not only in their menu but also in general. The family meal with three entrees fed a family of 5 with leftovers. We will be back and to that end, we will have Prime in our regular rotation! Great staff, great food, great value! read more

Love the food but more than anything I loved the "NO TIPPING" policy they had. They also had water for under a dollar which was awesome! I was able to come here, order food to go and not be put under pressure to leave a tip for to go items like in every single restaurant in the USA it seems. Tipping is out of control. Every darn restaurant wants us to tip now, if i dine there fine! But for to go!? Or places like Prime Wok Express where you order tour food and you take it to your table. What's the tip for!? Update; Seems Prime Wok finally gave into this policy, now they don't only have it a tip jar but also put you under pressure when signing the receipt and being asked to leave a tip on to go orders. Price for water went from 60 cents to $1 now. Sad they went this route. I won't be coming back as often anymore. Out of control Tipping is the scourge of the restaurant industry. Pot stickers - 3 for $2.49 smaller but crispy edges fresh wok'd Dinner for two $30 sweet and sour pork was fresh wok'd and not dripping in syrupy sauce like others. All veggies crisp. Huge container of rice and fried rice. Cashew chicken again fresh and not drowned in sauce. Crisp vegetables. Healthiest Chinese food since a huge place (1000 seating) place in SF Chinatown I used to eat dim sum at with my Chinese friends. Highly recommend you try this hidden gem for takeout. Unless you like the over sweet sauces from other places. 6 line cooks Wok'ing up a storm right in front of you. I will be back.... But, we have another 2 nights dinner for the two of us with this meal. $35.30 out the door, no tips accepted. 50 cent card fee is reasonable. read more

I like to order the Prime Wok Grande . For $10.95 you get a huge order which is enough for 2 people to share of your choice of 1 item and 1 side. My favorites are the Mongolian beef with white rice.
