David is a jack of all trades. I decided to ask if he installed Window A/C's. He said yes! This guy is incredible. Since my window slides side to side, he had to customize a window for me (I wanted plexiglas). He had to make two trips to my house. One for the measurements, and two to install. Great service. Very professional. Michael assisted me with hanging 2 samsung televisions. One was a 65" in the living room and the other was a 75" in the entertainment room. We ran into some unfirtunate circumstances outside of our control as my contractor who is currently renovating my house made it difficult to rerun wires. I had him mount a tv, put together ikea furniture which is not easy to do, he put up all the frames in my man cave nice and neatly. He also installed an outdoor shade and a flag. Michael was very professional, had great communication skills and he was always on time. Whenever there were any issues he always notified me and got my approval before continuing work. I was in a well known retail store purchasing a 55" tv and sound bar and noticed that with every service they suggested, my total increased. They were willing to mount my electronics but at a pretty hefty amount. To add insult to injury, they weren't available to perform the services when I requested and only had availability that was a week away. While in line watching my total amount increase by over $400 for installation services ALONE, I went to yelp and searched TV Mounting. PrimeTime Installs popped up so I immediately called and was greeted by Michael who was extremely helpful and informative. Not only did he schedule an appointment for me for the day that I wanted but he saved me a nice sum of money! The amount I was going to pay for ONLY the television mount with the retail store was more than I was quoted by Michael to mount my television and sound bar....and his quote INCLUDED the television mount! He arrived BEFORE our scheduled time and was ready to work! He kept me informed as he completed the mounting and even provided me with links to purchase other cables (HDMI and optical cables). He cleaned up after finishing and texted me after the install to ensure I was satisfied with my services. My pictures show the wall mount and concealed wired install. My sound bar was not mounted but it was of NO FAULT with Michael or PrimeTime installs. It was because it did not have all of the parts (yet another perk from the wonderful retail store: missing parts!) I am so happy to find PrimeTime. They are by far the cheapest I found from yelp. Michael was really polite and patient in explaining everything. I was able to get an next day appointment and he showed up on time. Not only did he mounted my new smart TV perfectly and securely, he also set the TV up and connected it with both of my iPad at home. He was even kind enough to show both my dad and me how to use the HDMI function and the smart functions on the TV. I had another TV originally mounted by someone else with the wires all hanging out, he put them all in a wire conceal tube for me just for $10 including material. After that, he then sorted out all the wires from another TV I had in living room, for free. It should only be a 1hour job but because the extra work and explanation he did, he stayed a full 2hours and didn't charge me an extra penny. Before he left, he even cleaned up everything. I have to give a four star review because of the fact that on the phone he quoted an amount for the wires cap of $30 then switched to $35 then when he was at my home installing the tv mount (which I provided) it was $40. So I thought that was a bad way of doing business since people rely on what you tell them before you show up. He was very attentive to the detail I just wish he made it more centered. Now that I look at it the tv is sideways and that is something he needs to be trained in and not the customer. That is why the customer is paying $70 for the service. He was trying to charge $30 just for the wire cover but I had screenshotted what Home Depot was charging which was the highest was at $13 and the lowest at $8. Upselling will get you in a lot of problems with consumer affairs and the FTC so plz be weary of that. I know you just started your business but don't start with deception and up selling products that are being sold at target, Home Depot, and wal Mart got significantly cheaper and the same quality. So those are my suggestions. And also make sure when you install to make sure it's lined up. Taking money that you are supposed to be experienced at isn't okay. But overall he was a nice guy and that is why I'm giving him 4 stars but plz be cautious with what you are charging ppl. Don't change the prices after you told them a different price over the phone. read more
