Roasted lamb rack cooked to perfection and was excellent. Surf and turf , large lobster tail with braised short rib was very good. 16 Oz Rib Eye was tender and excellent, worth the upgrade along with the 12 Oz Wagyu kobe tenderloin. The sauce was sweet: would have benefitted with more acidity and salt. Use salt. 3/5 Pork belly - Tough and overcooked by about a long weekend. Flavour ok. 2/5 Beet Salad - Best appetizer, but it's just beet salad. 4/5 Ribeye - over cooked. Does not taste dry-aged or like "prime" grade beef. I would consider this close to SCAM territory. 1/5 Lobster Tail - Rubbery, but well seasoned. Edible. 2.5/5 Scallops - 3 x Tiny abductor muscles that did not warrant the $22 price tag. Rubber. Reservations are essential. Parking is fully validated. We shared the Duck Wing appetizer, which we throughly enjoyed. We both had the Surf and Turf combination. It was a great value, delicious and definitely worth the price. We also had a side of Onion Rings, which were pretty tasty! One recommendation to the kitchen: Heat up the entree plates, so the food arrives hot!! The restaurant gave us a dessert of our choice as an Anniversary gift! Yes!!! We were staying at The Brock Niagara Falls-Fallsview and this Restaurant was located on the top floor. If ever you are in Niagara Falls - GO HERE! While it's best to make a reservation, it isn't required. We were sat with a beautiful view of the falls and settled in for a good night. The service was great and the music was grooving. I ordered the steak while moms had the short ribs. Lemme tell you something- theeee best meal for our whole trip. My steak came with asparagus, whipped potatoes, a whole bulb of roasted garlic and a full dish of truffle garlic butter. The steak was elegantly seasoned - and cooked (medium) to the perfect temperature. Thicker cut settled on a rich buttery cloud of whipped potatoes. It was all simple and easy but so delicious. We also had roasted brussels sprouts which were also a tasty supporting character but I couldn't leave the steak alone. Laser focused so only got a teaser of the brussels sprouts. Mom was the same way with her short ribs. We couldn't get our face out of the plates to try the sides, etc. I had the toffee dessert to go. ALSO DELICIOUS. The restaurant is nicely decorated and the view of the falls is amazing. However, the food is only OK, meaning there are many options with way better food at this price point. I had way better steak at places like The Keg or Texas Roadhouse. Pasta was average, so was the side of brussel sprouts. The service was not great. We asked for a high chair, and waited 10 minutes. The view of the falls was great, but there aren't that many view tables, the way the restaurant is situated. Our server was great and fun to talk to throughout the night. The portions were the right size too. For sides we got the Mac and cheese, brussel sprouts, and cauliflower and cheesy potato gratin. The Mac and cheese didn't feel like it was firmed up with baking. It felt a bit runny. The brussel sprouts were not very crispy and the cheesy potato and cauliflower gratin felt more like mashed potato. This was my favorite restaurant I tried during my stay at Niagara Falls. The food was delicious, service was fantastic, and the view was breathtaking. I started with the Crispy Fried Calamari. The calamari was perfectly cooked and served with a tasty lemon chive aioli. For my entree I chose the Surf and Turf. It comes with a Petite Angus Fillet, 6 oz. lobster tail, and lobster ravioli. I would have liked to see the lobster served with a side of hot butter and some kind of sauce to accompany the ravioli, but other than that this was an excellent selection. He really took care of us when my steak first came out overdone, then underdone and finally just about what I ordered. I found it slightly embarrassing that the chefs don't know how to cook a steak to order. We were not a cheap meal either. We ordered the lobster bisque, the carrots with whipped feta, truffle fries, tenderloin and I had the surf and turf which featured a whole half lobster and lobster ravioli. Besides not knowing how to cook a steak, I was a little grossed out by the bisque. It reminded me of chef boyardee with small and *liberal* pieces of seafood. I was disappointed. And while Jayce was a great waiter, he choose the dessert for my mother, which was the baked Alaska. Also unimpressive. The ice cream inside was super icy and not creamy. Also, I was majorly disappointed in the way they sat us away from everyone in the middle having a great view of the falls but then the next person they sat was literally RIGHT in front of us so it blocked our view! The manager BHARGAB attended and we told him about the undercooked steak as well as the attitude we had been receiving from the server. Instead of listening to what we had to say, he just kept asking the same question in a snippy manner, even though it was already explained to him what we had decided to do. Clearly he wasn't listening and already had prejudice towards us and was ready to be combative as he accused my friend of being rude and giving him attitude. They did do us the courtesy of taking that steak off the bill. As we waited for SARA R to return (which was a long while), we asked another waitress RENA for our bill, she tactlessly responded with "you'll have to ask SARA" as she waved us off with her hand. She could have simply said "I can get SARA for you". As we asked for the manager BHARGAB a second time, his cowardice prevented him from returning to our table and instead sent the bartender to take our payment. As a manager, it is BHARGAB's job to face the customer, not send an employee to be his scapegoat. It should be noted, our party was very quiet and respectful from the time we walked in, we were not rowdy in any way and did not do anything to warrant the treatment we received. However, after we placed the orders , she asked if we wanted any side dishes, I said no thanks. Then She gave us a weird and funny look. One of the Worst Dining Experiences I've Ever Had at a Steakhouse (July 4th, 2025) I don't typically leave negative reviews, but this experience at Prime Steakhouse in Niagara Falls was truly disappointing -- enough to warrant sharing, so others can avoid the same mistake. We were celebrating my 30th birthday and had mentioned this when making the reservation. From the moment we arrived, things went downhill. We were seated far from the windows, and when we asked why, we were told it was due to having a toddler with us and that it was a "fire hazard." That excuse felt weak and unwelcoming -- especially from a place that promotes itself as upscale. We ordered two 14 oz New York Striploin steaks ($72 each), truffle fries ($17), and garlic smashed potatoes ($17). When our food arrived, we were shocked. Both steaks had a thick layer of cartilage around them and an excessive amount of fat. The meat looked and tasted like it had been previously frozen. When we cut into it, it pulled apart like stringy pork -- not remotely what you expect from a premium cut, let alone at this price point. We asked to speak to the manager. He went back to the kitchen and returned to tell us that "this is how the steaks are cut in-house." As someone who enjoys high-quality steaks and dines at steakhouses regularly, I can confidently say I've never had striploin this bad. No offer of refund -- just that the steaks would be redone. The second set of steaks wasn't much better. We requested Chicago-style, medium-rare. What we got was nearly blue-rare and definitely not Chicago-style. Meanwhile, our sides had gone cold. The manager brought out fresh ones eventually, but by that point, the entire experience had soured our appetite. Our server disappeared during this entire ordeal -- for over 40 minutes we were left without a single check-in or apology. It was like we didn't exist. When the meal finally ended, the server (not the manager) dropped off the bill -- no accommodations, no acknowledgement of the terrible experience, and no mention of my birthday, which they had asked about in advance. No cake, no gesture, nothing. We paid the full amount -- $205 -- and only after seeking out the manager again privately did he offer us a $40 refund, which honestly felt like too little, too late. The gesture didn't come close to making up for the meal or the service. Overall, this was hands down the worst steakhouse experience we've ever had. Between the subpar food, the lack of service, and the complete failure to acknowledge a birthday celebration, I cannot in good conscience recommend this restaurant. If you're looking for a special dining experience in Niagara Falls, do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. read more

The meat was cut so thick I could've just eaten a "thin cut" steak out the pack from the grocery store. I couldn't eat it and had to send it back. We were looking for a place for dinner with a great view of the falls and not a lousy menu. Surprisingly, this is a difficult task in Niagara Falls. Prime is a chain and a solid chain at that. To start, the view is fire especially for a last minute reservation ON CANADA DAY. It was extremely crowded in Niagara, but Prime came through. The staff were friendly and very accommodating. Now the menu. To start we split a wedge salad. Yes, the picture took is of HALF a wedge salad and it was more than enough. The bacon was spot on and the salad was very fresh. Highly recommend. For entrées, we went with the14 oz New York strip. I realize that this is a steakhouse and the steak should be made to perfection, but it did somewhat fall short. I ordered a medium rare and it was definitely medium well. That aside, it was still delicious and seasoned well. The whiskey peppercorn was a great sauce. The sides though were the shining beacon. The mushrooms were absolutely delish. Cooked in red wine and salted so well I'm still thinking about them. The loaded baked potato is absolutely massive and delicious. Come hungry. I originally posted my review on TripAdvisor. Prime Steakhouse advertises itself all over town as "the Number One reviewed restaurant in Niagara Falls, according to TripAdvisor". The people running the establishment aggressively solicit five-star reviews from customers, to the point that they have their waitstaff hand out cards with instructions on how to do just that (see accompanying photos). As soon as a negative review (like mine) is posted, multiple five-star reviews from users with no previous posts miraculously appear, accompanied by fake, misleading and/or stock photos- having the effect of knocking the negative review down the line. Be aware of their tactics, and seek out opinions from previous customers before making the decision to dine there. Here is an abridged version of my original review, as it appears on TripAdvisor- edited down so as not to exceed Yelp's character limit: Turns out, our hotel (the Crowne Plaza) is also the site of Prime Steakhouse, which advertises itself all over town as "the Number One ranked restaurant in Niagara Falls, according to TripAdvisor". What better place to take our young man for his (birthday)? Well... we found out that practically ANYPLACE would have been better... When I booked the reservation... I specifically requested a table by the window, so we could enjoy the view of the illuminated Falls and the evening fireworks show at 10 pm. When we arrived promptly at 8:30 pm, the manager seated us at a table that most definitely did NOT have a window... I politely mentioned to the manager that we had asked for a window table in our reservation, and her reply... was that "every single table in the restaurant is full..." Please note- this was a total and purposeful LIE on the part of the manager. There were three tables less than 10 feet from us, all situated by windows, that remained unoccupied for the entirety of our stay... I have photos of the empty tables next to us, that I am posting to accompany this review... Our waiter... apologized profusely... We tried to move on from our initial disappointment, and anticipated a night of stellar food... and service. We got neither... We ordered starters and mains- the starters arrived at the table by 8:55 pm. They were very well-prepared, if oddly plated- for instance, the calamari was served on a dish with a Chinese food carton on it... It then took AN ADDITIONAL HOUR for our entrees to arrive. (Our waiter) apologized multiple times for the delay... He brought us a bread plate in the meantime. Three rolls... for four of us. That part did make us chuckle a bit. We wondered out loud which one of the four of us was invisible... Finally... our entrees were able to escape the black hole in the kitchen and reached our table. And shock of shocks... were ice cold... My wife's scallops might as well have been cooked in an iceberg. They were inedible, and there was no choice but to send her dish back. When the "re-fired" scallops were brought to her, they were once again not even lukewarm... The rest of us ordered steaks... by the time our dinner arrived, I was personally ready to chew off my own arm. (Our waiter) acknowledged the abject failure of the kitchen and offered to take the steaks back. But we were all too hungry to wait any longer, and ate them cold... Oh, and... all of our side dishes were also chilled to imperfection... The fireworks began promptly at 10 pm, and as expected, were not visible from our table... My son then apologized to all of us for the lousy (birthday) dinner we had- as if it was his fault. To his credit, (our waiter) felt terrible... and said he would talk to the manager and see about getting us a discount. The manager... felt that being denied a view in a restaurant where the view is EVERYTHING, and despite having ample advance notice of our desire for a window table and several options at her disposal, and then being served entrees that were (maybe) a step up from a Swanson's Frozen Dinner, and basically ruining my son's birthday, was worth 15% off the bill. "Number One Restaurant in Niagara Falls"? PLEASE. Number One Rip-Off is more like it... Prime should be ashamed for allowing such a debacle to occur on so many levels. read more

I'm all for enjoying my time but an hour plus to get entrees is a bit much for two people. The restaurant wasn't packed, so I'm not giving that to them, in fact there were surprisingly a lot of free spots for a holiday weekend evening. Okay...I know this is petty, but when we got our salads it was missing part one of the ingredients and we couldn't find a server until half way done. Last night I went to prime steakhouse for my birthday that my lovely girlfriend set up and we had this server named Sarah that treated us with the most disrespect. I am truly upset, but the food was good. I will never come back to this place again! Please if you go do not get Sarah as a waitress trust me it won't be good. She was rude! So...we were in Niagra Falls celebrating our Anniversary with the kids and extended kids, and had no reservations. Why? B/c I hate making reservations and don't mind picking and eating at any available restaurant. Well...I got pretty lucky I must say b/c it was Saturday, October 12th around 5:45PM when I called here for availability -- and they had room for six people if we got there asap! So we all gathered downstairs, Ubered our Butts to Prime and enjoyed our Anniversary dinner by the window, looking right out to Niagra Falls!!! Score! We stayed until nightfall and the Falls lit up in different colors, so pretty! To the Food: My bf and I shared a huge porterhouse b/c we ordered apps and soups and drinks. The porterhouse was $75 and we were full. It was so flavorful and juicy, perfectly salted. The kids ordered filet mignon, pork chops, and a kids burger (huge burger the size of my 9 year old's face). The sides were extra and we all ordered to share -- Mac N Cheese, potatoes au gratin, and oscar style topping. Located on the tenth floor of the crowne plaza hotel near the old casino and Clifton hill. The view was enjoyable, albeit a bit far and obstructed by the casino rooftop. The view includes both the Canadian and the American falls. The striploin prime cut, which was supposed to be 2% top grade was not good. A lot of the meat was super robbery and chewy. I usually eat filet mignon or ribeye so I'm not sure if this is due to the cut of meat, but I thought if it was th top 2% cut, It would at least would be fully edible. Not worth it for $69 Canadian. The scallops were tasty along with the creamy beet risotto. This was worth it for $45 Canadian. The Caesar salad was tasty with crisp romaine lettuce, but was a bit confused because the croutons were massive, as if they are bread slices. The chocolate cake was velvety, smooth and rich. Great cake. The bread was room temperature. They did warm the plates though. The service was mechanical and not very welcoming. It's dubbed as a five star dining restaurant, but it definitely was not five star service. You get a feeling that they're not there to focus on service, knowing it's a tourist spot maybe? I had planned a trip to Niagara Falls for my fiance's birthday and really researched (via Yelp) for a great place to eat with a view of the falls - came across Prime Steakhouse! After reading the reviews and looking at the menu, I made a reservation through Open Table weeks prior to our visit. In my reservation, I made a request for a window seat and mentioned we were celebrating his birthday. Upon arrival on 8/3/19, we were immediately greeted by the hostess and taken to a window table, which had an amazing view of the falls. Our server, Justin, took great care of us. Because I read past reviews, I helped my fiance decide on having his steak prepared "Chicago style". We ordered a ribeye and NY strip, a side of Truffle Parmesan Frites and the Saffron Roasted Cauliflower. We informed Justin that I had a dairy allergy and he inquired with the kitchen if the cauliflower side had dairy before confirming our order. We then ordered a sauce to go with the steaks - the bacon onion marmalade. We also placed an appetizer order of shrimp cocktail. Before we had food delivered, I was getting uncomfortably hot and asked the hostess if they could turn down the air. It felt incredibly stuffy. The hostess said she'd do what she could. A few minutes later, the manager, Kunal, visited our table and explained their air conditioning was broke. He apologized and said they were waiting on the condensers to be delivered. Our shrimp cocktail was delivered and it looked delicious. It was good quality but I felt the cocktail sauce was very runny and needed some more horseradish for my liking. Then our meals were delivered. Our steaks were absolutely delicious and I agree with the reviews I read previously - Chicago style is the way to go! Seared outside, medium-rare inside. The bacon onion marmalade was good on the steak, but honestly, it didn't need a sauce. We tried the Truffle Parmesean Frites with the Roasted Garlic Aioli - that aioli could go on anything! It was really good on the steak - so garlicky! Justin was kind enough to ask the kitchen to put the parmesan cheese on the side so I could grab some frites before my fiance put cheese on his. That was a nice touch. The Saffron Roasted Cauliflower was good, but really didn't taste like saffron. We thoroughly enjoyed our meals! After dinner, Justin asked if we had room for dessert, which we didn't, but he and Kunal said they'd like to give us a birthday dessert. So my fiance ordered the chocolate layer cake. Justin also offered to take a picture of the two of us in honor of my fiance's birthday. Kunal brought some raspberry dessert wine over for us to enjoy with the cake - he said it was complimentary due to the air conditioner not working. Justin asked what we had in store after dinner, as the sun was going down. I told him we were wanting to watch the fireworks over the falls but didn't want to go into the crowds gathering outside. He said we could stay there if we wanted, as the evening was winding down and didn't think he'd have any more tables. So we ordered another round of drinks to watch the fireworks from the table. Granted it was hot & stuffy inside, but we had a wonderful evening due to the tremendous service we received from Justin and Kunal. Yes, it was pricey, but it is to be expected in Niagara Falls with a beautiful view. I definitely recommend Prime Steakhouse for a special meal. read more

The view is absolutely stunning. The food was all right, good not great. Very very overpriced. They also added a $40 tax at the end of the bill for being right on the Niagara Falls. Just a warning! read more
