I don't come here as often as I used to, but it's still exactly how it used to be. I always use coins when I'm here, no issues with the change machine. Parking in the rear, grab a basket and go. The washers and dryers are big, so I can get plenty in there. I've never used their wash and fold service, don't mind doing it myself. It's gone downhill quickly within a year. In fact, 3/4 of the air dryers/washing machines doesnt work. They cut the service hours for the wash & Fold folks so if help is needed nobody is insight. I was really excited to try out this laundromat, especially since it's a nice, big space, but I was incredibly disappointed. The facility was completely filthy, and it's clear that regular cleaning and maintenance are not being kept up with. To make matters worse, almost none of the machines were actually working. It's a coin-operated laundry mat, but there are signs suggesting you bring your own coins, which defeats the purpose. It was a frustrating experience, and I won't be returning. read more

There is like about little over 30 washers, and maybe 7 or 8 are the only ones working. People wash and leave, now there are machines just sitting there with wet clothes while people are waiting. There's about 40 dryers and only maybe 10 are working. There's trash all over the floor. read more

I have been frequently used this laundromat for roughly 10 years +. As of late the attendant consistency has been questionable. They post the hours that the attendant is supposed to be onsite but they're rarely there at the times posted. In the past I could count on them being there to drop off a wash and fold service. Now I really ever know when they'll be there. Due to my busy schedule I personally don't have the time to personally due my laundry. Bottom line not happy with attendant hours. Everything is out of order. Only 7 out of 24 driers worked. Washers wise same thing way too many things out of order.

Machines are always broken and dryers stop in the middle of the cycle and no one is around to talk to. So if you want a refund you won't get it. I do not DO NOT recommend this place at all. Please go elsewhere. read more

this place has changed so much it's not worth going unless every other laundrymat is full or closed an you absolutely have no other solution to washing your clothes. Using a tub would be better. first off it gets one star for being close by, that's it. there are virtually no washer machines that actually work, and some of the ones that do, they stick a note on it, saying it's out of commission. that's so they have washers for when they do their onsite laundry service. so you are lucky if you get a washer that works and actually cleans your clothes. if you do find one you'll be lucky if you can use your debit card or credit card because it's rare to find a washer that also has a working debit/credit card portion that works. then there are the dryers, oh gawd it's a hit or miss I'll leave it at that. the best time to go there is never, and good luck with your clothes getting washed if you do. I'll say this, the owner is a very nice lady or whoever is running it, shes very nice an will help if she can, but aside from that you should just find a better laundrymat that has working machines. p.s. So I first came to this laundromat years ago, it was clean, employees were helpful and the equipment was good. We came back after Covid, and they're some machines broken, which I didn't think much of considering all the changes Covid had brought. But now, in 2023, even more machines are broken washer and dryer. Some of the machines only take quarters when the option to pay by credit card is also on the machine. Then, you have to keep inserting coins into the machines because they keep returning. More than one or two customers have to go and ask the employee for help. Which is you don't ask they don't offer. I like coming to this place because it's clean, they do provide a restroom, but the owner definitely needs to either visit this place to see how it's being operated or take pride in their business. read more

I have been going to this business to wash comforters for years. I noticed there were many washers/dryers out of order. My main concern is the safety of the female employee and the customers. At 1:00 p.m. a male was hanging out there and threatening customers. The female employee asked him to leave and he tried to kick her. Another individual who appeared to be homeless wrapped in a blanket entered the laundry mat and went to the back parking lot and was in the dumpster and throwing trash all over parking lot. We came in to wash at the laundry mat for the first time here, we came in damn near every washer don't even work. We found some that work and where Almost done with our clothing, while we where folding our clothes. That WYT lady came to us hella rude talking about if we used the washers on this side. We where like no we used one over there the 10 LB one, she goes and says oh Bc I seen a guy with a red hat. Excuse me? What are you accusing a costumer of? The new business hours is bullshits.They don't even follow it.I went there at 7:30pm after I'm get off,did quick wash of my clothes.It took 18mins to finish.Then I dropped my clothes at the dryer around 8:00pm.I saw the new business hour 9:30pm is the last wash.It means 9:30pm the store is still open.It took 40-50mins to dry my clothes.So I went to have dinner around the store.When I came back at 9:15pm,the whole store is closed already!!！I don't really understand why they wrote down the new business hours and didn't follow it.It's really wasted my time. read more

Nice and clean with machines that take cards! Perfect for if you don't happen to have all the cash and change you may need. There are plenty of washers and dryers and they all work just fine. The washers come in different load sizes and the dryers are HUGE for 25cents per six minutes. I used one dryer to dry two blankets and six towels for 40 minutes and they came out hot and smelling gooooood. read more

Trust the reviews! The lost, stolen, missing laundry is true. I have been taking my laundry (sheets, towels, blankets and robes only) here for a couple of years and have had no problem. They always did a great job. This time, although the job ticket stated 4 bags, there were only 3. Lost 2 sets of queen sheets. Lots of hostility between the employees. Back of claim check states they accept no liability for loss or damage. Call to "the boss" resulted in an answering machine with no return call. Learned my lesson. Trust the reviews! read more

I stopped into Wash Depot today on the hunt for perfect laundry spot. I didn't stay to wash clothes. The place was "meh." The machines appeared to be in well working order, and the spot was not perfectly clean but tidy. No one was on duty working, which I'm ok with. Mostly I was hunting down the prices for the machines. When this laundromat opened, it was clean, washers worked great, dryer would dry your clothes fast, and ample parking. You could dry your clothes with 1 to 2 quarters! Fast forward to 2021, the washers do not wash that well. The dryer is lukewarm and it takes about $1.50 to $2.00 to dry. Its a total rip off now. Very disappointed! read more

Doesn't clean clothes I was told that the machines are energy savers. Was told that the water would only fill up depending on the weight of the clothes. That would be great if it actually washed the clothes. I washed 3 different size loads, $6, $5, and 2.50. Why were half still wet like they had not even been washed the other half was semi-damp and they still smell like clothes that werent washed. That was my first and last time visiting the laundromat. I've been trying since moving to San Leandro to find a nice clean The laundromat. The place was clean that's why I gave one star but because the machines can't clean my clothes, I will never ever go there again. My first review was not "recommended" by Yelp, yet, here we are a year later and another bag of clothes missing. Took my clothes for a wash and fold the day before Mother's Day. They called that afternoon to tell me my clothes were ready for pick up. I picked them up the afternoon of Mother's Day. I dropped off 21lbs, and they only had 12lbs. They emphasize that they will not give you your clothes without your receipt, yet, my clothes were given to the wrong people and to this day I still have my receipt. The workers, again, after I gave them a second chance, acted like it was no big deal, made no effort to contact anyone to see if they got the wrong bag of clothes or anything. This place is clean, and they have the biggest washers and dryers I've seen, and they're new and all in good working order. They also do wash n fold. We've had the experience where they lost a big load of our clothes and the owner has never called us like requested to make any arrangements regarding compensating us for a whole missing load. I've been going to this place ever since I was in college. Back then I heavily used their coin operating machine weekly. Now, with a busy work schedule and a family, I rely on their wash and fold service. I saw the different management changed over the years. But I got to say, I love the new management under Tom's. The price is very reasonable, $25 for 25 lbs. minimum. They always get my laundry done within promised time frame. They separate and organized the fold laundry in bags and even have the socks tie to each other. Lately, they also put my clean dresses in hanger (OMG, isn't that awesome?) The new state of art laundry equipment and their attentive service will sure make me a royal customer many more years to come. read more

Poor customer service, dirty facility. One of the workers opened up a cabinet while we were talking and a ratty old dog bed fell out along with several scraps of pizza crust! They leave peoples finished laundry unattended by the front door just waiting to be stolen. They don't care if your stuff goes missing even though the manager "promises" to "make amends" and pay you back for your stolen items. They lost more than $400 worth of my stuff and acted like it wasn't a big deal. They leave the facility unattended for hours, with the laundry just sitting there and no attendants to help when people come to drop off or have questions. I've been coming to this laundromat for almost two years. Never really and an issue other than the bathrooms are not kept clean. I came in today finally after not doing laundry for almost three weeks due to the shelter in place because of Covid 19. I was told by a gentleman that works here that kids are not allowed inside the laundromat and that you should only be inside if your putting your clothes inside the washer/dryer and getting your belongings back into your car. Your also not allowed to fold your laundry when it's done you have to take it home. And only 9 people should be inside at all times. There was supposedly a sign with all of these rules but somehow it got ripped off. At first I was visibly upset but then I understood. He was also on the phone with his boss basically instructing him on what to say as she saw on the cameras there was a kid inside. I had my nephew go into the car and then he left us alone. He was just doing his job so I cooperated BUT when I saw others just standing around and folding their laundry and not being said anything to about these "covid rules" I was livid. I ordered a portable washer and dryer from amazon and will NEVER be coming back even when this pandemic is over. read more

Wash and Fold service was awesome. They divided up my laundry, folded it nicely and everything smelled amazing. They are also priced well. Good go to spot when your laundry is overflowing and you have to do multiple loads. If you drop it off before a certain time, they will do same day. Otherwise you can pick up the following day. If I could give zero stars I would. Dropped off 39 pounds of clothes on Saturday 6/23/18 around noon for a wash and fold. They should have been ready for pick up by end of day on Sunday. Went Monday morning and they had my receipt number on washing machines and told me they were still washing (because they "had a big order come in") and to come back in a few hours. Went back around 7:30pm Monday evening. They proceeded to give me four bags of clothing. A lot of the clothes were for a young girl. I only have me and an 8 year old son. None of the clothes in the bag were mine although they had my receipt number. The worker there allowed me behind the counter to see if I recognized my clothes in a different bag. I did not. Then he looked at me dumbfounded and said, "I don't know what to tell you." Obviously they gave my clothes to the wrong person!! As of today at 1pm (6/26/18), the other person has still not returned my clothes. I guess I'll go pick their clothes up and sell them to Once Upon A Child so I can afford to buy new clothes for me and my son. The email address they have posted for the manager comes back undeliverable and the telephone number posted goes to voicemail. I'm beyond upset!! They act like it's no big deal. "These things usually work themselves out in a couple of days." It would seem that the other party would know by now that the clothes they picked up are not theirs! But again, since the number on the bag matches my receipt, guess I'll go pick up those clothes and sell them to replace mine. I've been using them over a year with no problem. I was initially happy to find Prime Laundromat in mid-1917 because it is so close to the apartment complex where I live (which has laundry facilities but they are small, provide no folding areas, or any place to hang your garments and are not clean). Prime Laundromat's washers allow you to choose water temperature, large load and second rinse for a small additional cost, and with both the washers and dryers you can use coins or ATM card. Over the last 4+ months, however, this laundromat has gotten increasingly dirty - NOT CLEAN. They don't apparently sweep periodically during the day, so by mid-morning, the floors are such that if you drop a sock, you're going to want to wash it again. I've gotten in the habit of bringing my own spray cleaner and paper towels to wipe down the folding counter. And consistently, even if I get there right when they open, the place is dirty, floor clearly wasn't swept at the end of the previous day, and my paper towels after wiping down the folding counter clearly show considerable dust and grime. On a regular basis when I want to start a dryer, I will get an "error" message telling me that the lint collector needs to be cleaned, and when I open it, it's obvious it hasn't been cleaned for a long time. Once I dropped something and when I bent down to pick it up, I saw all of these tiny little black bugs (not ants but really tiny) on the floor. A lot of them. And the last time I went a few weeks ago, fully 30% of their washing machines had Out of Order notes posted on them. Too bad this place is going downhill. I'm on the hunt for a laundromat that is consistently clean and maintained. read more
