This was a month or so ago. I needed to change my car battery, and this place was close by…read more Called ahead and asked if they had the one I needed and showed up an hour later. The installation in my car was simple, so they put it in for me on the spot (and good, bc she wasn't moving anytime soon without a new battery, lol). They took my old one for recycling. It's a bit more than I have paid in the past for batteries, but it was put in right away and ofc the price is for the convenience.

I stopped by this O'Reilly location during my lunch break while walking through Gilman Village,…read morewhich is about five minutes from the law firm where I work. I needed to buy additional oil for my car, so I decided to step in. I had just come from a nearby Indian grocery store and had a small plastic bag with a single small item (paneer). I selected the oil, went to the register, and noticed the cashier was busy. I asked if anyone else could help, and another employee came over. After I paid for the oil, I placed the receipt in the grocery bag. The oil was still in my hand. At that point, the employee asked, "What do you have in your bag?" When I asked why, he said it was "to make sure you are not stealing from us." I showed the bag, but I was shocked and offended. In my 47 years of life, I have never been accused of stealing. If there are concerns, please rely on your cameras and internal procedures rather than making direct accusations to paying customers. This interaction was unnecessary and left a very unpleasant impression.

During my routine oil change, I was told that I should replace my battery, so I came here to shop…read morefor the car battery. I first asked to test my battery to make sure that it's time to replace. There was only one guy working in the store. He kindly asked me to wait for him as he had to wait until all the customers leave the store so that he could leave the store. I felt sorry for him as there were quite a few customers in the store. I browsed the store around while waiting, and he kept apologizing for the inconvenience. He was very polite. Finally, all the customers were out, then he grabbed the tester and went to test my car. He tested the battery without staring engine first, and he found it in good condition. Then he asked me to start the engine to test the battery, which I did. The result also came out great. I told him that I had been told to replace the battery immediately. He said that my battery was still in good condition so no need to replace. When he was testing my battery, a few customers walked into the store. After testing, he apologized again that he had to rush into the store. I thanked him for his help. He saved my money!! I am not sure why the rating is so low here. I guess only one person just couldn't run the entire store to please every customer. The store is also clean and well-organized. I hope they can hire more people to work there. Otherwise, I am happy with the service, and I would like to come back again.

My father and I are regular customers because we live close to this location. We have purchased…read moreparts and tools here many times. Unfortunately, this was a very disappointing experience, and I won't be coming back. I bought a lug wrench on July 3. After trying it once, I realized it was the wrong size for my vehicle. I returned to the store on July 5 with my receipt to request a refund. The employee, Jay, refused the return because he said the tool had been used and pointed to the black marks inside the socket. He also told me, "Some customers use the tools and then return them." I felt uncomfortable because it sounded like he was implying that I was one of those customers. I found that comment unprofessional. The situation then escalated, and Jay called the police. The officer asked me to leave the store. I was shocked because I had only been trying to return a lug wrench that turned out to be the wrong size. Based on my experience, I was very disappointed with the customer service. If you buy tools here, make sure you are certain they are the correct size before using them, because once they show signs of use, the store may refuse a return. Other small story about Jay, at the beginning, I didn't bring my invoice with me, I asked Jay to search it in there system and he pretended he couldn't find it, so I asked my husband back to home to find it, then an old guy came out and find the invoice just like one minute. But my husband already back to home and find the invoice. Jay is a very rude and drama employee, leave him alone.
