Using the website I quickly and easily scheduled an appointment. Website recognized me and also handled my insurance changes. At the appointment was greeted and promptly seen on time. Dr. Guzik was very courteous, helpful and quick in his procedures. He answered with honestly on any questions I had and direction on my options. And the front office team got me quickly on my way. I have reviewed this practice before but since they moved into their new offices, the old reviews seem to have disappeared. I continue to be very loyal and impressed with the doctors and staff here. When I first started coming here, I had fabulous vision and health insurance. Since then I retired and have no vision and limited health insurance. Plus, just for an added bonus, more eye issues have cropped up. Both doctors and the staff still treat me like royalty. Before we all enjoyed picking out new glasses with the sky as the limit each year. Now, they love helping me find the best deals and get the biggest bang for my buck. Plus you should check out their new digs, wowza! I could like in this office just for the floors alone. It's cool to come to such a gorgeous and state of the art facility. I'm so disappointed in this place! I guess that's why I was able to get in right away. So it took almost 2 weeks to get my glasses and then my glasses fell apart in the first week I had them. When I left a message, cause they're hrs are all above the place. The person who talked to me acted like if I brought the glasses in they could just pop the lense back in. Lmao, I knew something wasn't right as soon as I got the glasses. The lenses didn't fit the frames! Why I could see that and they couldn't is a mystery! So they call me and say they can't just pop the lens back in and it will have to be sent to the lab? OK so what is the place I went to then? That not a lab? I ask how long it will be and they say I hope a week! So I dropped them off on April 27th and I haven't heard anything and I decided to call on the 8th this morning. She said she'd have a manager call me and guess what they never did. I called and all they told me was they shipped them today. This is the first review I've ever written, and I'm pretty forgiving but holy shit I will never go back! I should just waited for the first place I made an appointment to, but didn't want to wait for a month for the eye appointment. I took my daughter to Dr. Steve for a new contact fitting prior to school starting. After examining her eyes, he gave her a trial pair. When my daughter told him that her vision was blurry with the trial contacts on her eyes, Dr. Steve told her that she needed to "get use" to the new contacts. We schedule another appointment a week later to determine how she had gotten use to the new contact prescription. When Dr. Steve examined the contacts on this visit, he was surprised that my daughter was wearing the wrong contact prescription. At this second appointment, to get a better look at my daughter's eye, Dr. Steve dilated her eye with a powerful solution that took the focusing ability of her eyes out for 24 hours! Why was such powerfully solution used on a 12 year old? He could have dilated with a less powerful solution so that her vision would return quicker. At the second appointment, Dr. Steve gave my daughter a new set of trial contact lenses, and told me to make another appointment within 5 days. When my daughter's vision was back to normal, from her eyes being dilated, she put the contact lenses on and cried because her vision was worse than before. We took the contact lenses off and called another eye doctor in Frankfort for an appointment. The second opinion doctor took 45 minutes to calculate the correct contact prescription for my daughter who has a stigmatism. When my daughter put the contact lenses on, she could see clearly immediately. There was no need to "get use" to these new contact lenses. When the second opinion doctor looked at the contact prescription that Dr. Steve had prescribed, he told me that the left contact was "4 notches of power off" and that the right contact lens prescription, "made no sense at all." So if you have a stigmatism, do not go to Dr. Steve because he does not know how to do the complex calculations to get the right prescription so that you can see clearly. read more

I signed up to Yelp just for reviewing this location. I would give them 10 stars if they had it. After years of going to Eye glasses box store. I needed to find a "Professional" Eye care place. And I know I found it. The Doctors and staff are friendly and caring. They work to get you the best eye sight you can get. The location is clean and the wait time is very little to none. Ask for Dr. Steve! I have gone to a national eye chain for 10 years. The service I received here was far superior and it is in my VSP network. What a thorough eye exam. I was not rushed. It felt like a real consultation. The doc showed me the pics of my eyes, explained everything and made some awesome suggestions. I am so very impressed. Beautiful facility. LOVE THIS PRACTICE! Dr. Guzik is hands down the best eye doctor I have ever had. He takes his time wile examining me, thoroughly explains exactly what is happening, all while cracking jokes and making me laugh. I truly feel like a part of his family because of how deeply he cares. Dr. Guzik is also very knowledgeable within the insurance realm, and has saved me over $1000 on my contacts and glasses this year! That is INSANE! When I was getting fit for glasses, the lady (Im sorry I don't remember her name) was very thorough as well with helping me pick a good frame for my face shape. She walked me through all my lens options. She said "I want these to be the best eyeglasses you have ever had" which made me feel awesome! Once my glasses were ready to be picked up, I arrived as Dr. Guzik was picking up the mail. He went out of his way to walk in with me through the front entrance instead of the staff entrance, making friendly conversation and grabbing the door for me. When I walked in, Andrew (another staff member who I have chatted with multiple times) greeted me abruptly with my glasses already in hand! Words cant describe how much I love this practice, and I will be SO SAD if the day comes that I cant be a patient here anymore. read more

Our son was a little nervous about this appointment, but the entire staff helped to ease his worries. Everyone was friendly and punctual.
