They even asked permission to vacuum, just in case I was in a Zoom meeting or similar. Payment was slightly awkward for me, because I don't have Zelle or Venmo. I just haven't learned about those apps. Paying by debit or credit card is a second choice for TooClean, and there is a processing fee. Nevertheless, I would be happy to hire them again if I can't keep up with my cleaning for any reason.

I left the apartment for 2+ hours - hoping to come back to a clean place. Unfortunately, I couldn't discern a noticeable difference in cleanliness of the kitchen. I ask the cleaner what's been cleaned in the last three hours - opening cabinets and pointing to the dust. After three hours, I just asked for the cleaner to leave. Gia's explanation was that the apartment was "pretty dirty and not brand new so it's just difficult to get rid of everything for the first time cleaning". I couldn't see though that much had been cleaned. Even the brand new counters looked dirtier than before. I ended up just wiping down the counters and picking up a broom - sweeping to see that there was still dust on the floor. The cabinets still unopened and items hadn't even shifted. The appliances had visible crumbs and dirt streaks/smudges. Definitely disappointed after shelling out $160 even after asking them to leave. It was more of a hassle to deal with scheduling the cleaner, leaving the apartment / picking up cash, and still to clean the apartment. One of the women cleaned the range over the stove and ended up removing the paint and permanently damaging it. There was a lot of damage in my home so I had to be placed in a hotel for a few weeks. They completed their services quickly, they also packed our belongings and took them to the hotel for us. There were so many public adjusters outside fighting for me to sign on, it was scary. When i showed up to the my house i could not get out of the car, there were a bunch of public adjusters waiting for me, they were ghetto and yelling at each other, I had to call the police. I had smoke, soot and water damage everywhere, of course at this point nothing was salvageable. Neil, Joseph, Alecia and the rest of the team and office staff have been amazing. I hope no one experiences a fire, they are devastating and sometimes fatal, but they are not avoidable.
