This location is now a Budget/Avis and the staff here is really great. They know i work in federal disaster response, and having a low bodied car while driving out in the country in flooded roads can be dangerous. So i'm very appreciative that they have usually upgraded me to SUV and even a full F150 truck on one occasion (that was actually a fun few weeks to have there huge truck for work). I'm surprised by the negative reviews here, that's not been my experience at all. I'll disclose when I travel I'll use the usual airport suspects, because it's all about convenience. But when I'm in town & need a rental, I'll use Priceless, because it's all about cost. The fact I'm even screwing around with a local rental means I'll be in a less than amicable mood, and Priceless has always come through. And it's always been some 2017 varietal of a Chevy Cruze. I know they have bigger cars & even Jeeps, but I'm okay with Cruze, because I'm paying exactly $38.72 a day for it. And when I've rented it by the week, it's been exactly $203.73. Discount? Cool. You can use either credit or debit cards, they're not there Sundays, and if you need extra rental time, call them. One quirky thing - the first time I used Priceless, I reserved & paid with my debit card, and they put a $150 hold on my credit card. They said on their website they would do this, and the hold was reversed after I returned the car. But since that first time, I still make resos & payments with my debit card, and they've done nothing with my credit card. I don't know what that means. Maybe they like me now. Don't do it. Honestly, I felt a little badly for the employees on the ground, who seemed nice enough. But the parent company is non-responsive and it cost me a lot of money. I reserved a car online, using an American Express (which covers my liability insurance). I then learned that the store doesn't actually accept AmEx. I attempted repeatedly to call the head office, but couldn't get through. I emailed twice (both before the rental commenced and afterwards) and never got the courtesy of a response. Bottom line, the 48 hour rental for which I was expecting to pay ~$100 suddenly became $170 because I had to purchase their (insanely overpriced) liability insurance. There were also some weird things about the bill; I was proactively charged an additional $12.73 for a *49th hour* of car rental, even though I had no intention of returning the car late. It was caught; but it was weird. Check reviews for Priceless outlets all across the country. It's a scam business. read more

I had a very good experience. In short, I got a hybrid Volkswagon Jetta for $100 per day which included the rental, damage waiver, toll road allowance and all taxes. This beats any major car rental company for a car in this class. Tank was full and the vehicle got 500 miles on a single 13 gallon tank. read more

We rent car from Priceless in Orlando, Fl on November 14, 2019 paid in advance last September 2019. When we returned dropped car on November 17, 2019. I found my bank they charge me 206.00 for other fees, tolls, fuel fees and insurance. I called to file compliant they kept hung up many times. I never use tolls, show my own insurance and I did filled full gas before dropped off. They ripped me off. We argued on phone 30 minutes. They refused to remove all fees except gas and tolls. Bad service. Never rent there again. read more

DO NOT RENT FROM THESE PEOPLE! They engage in deceptive practice to collect on rental deposit. I selected this off-airport rental because it was considerably cheaper for a two week, short notice rental. My 5 pound Chihuahua, Chuy, and I arrived via rideshare from the airport to pick up the car. Chuy was on a leash and explored the office and played with the office staff while I reviewed the rental agreement with the Manager, Angel. He pointed out that they had a no smoking, no pet policy. He then looked at Chuy and said he would be no problem. We went out and inspected the car. I put Chuy in my lap and waived goodbye as we drove off.... satisfied. Two weeks later I dropped the car off before business hours and left the keys in it, as instructed, because I had an early flight. A few hours later Angel called. He said that all was good with the car except they would have to retain a portion of the damage deposit because I had violated the No Pet policy - even though he had given me permission at the time of rental. He claimed that there were a few hairs in the driver's seat. Chuy rode in the car twice. Once when I picked the car up, again when I returned it. Both times he stayed in my lap. Long story short, they are attempting to charge me a pet cleaning fee. I asked to speak with Angel's manager. He said he does not have one. I asked to speak with the business owner. He told me the owner was too busy and would ALWAYS be too busy to talk to me. He said he would warn all of the employees in the office not to put me through to the owner if I tried to call back. read more

Please beware of this car rental. I booked a car through expedia and chose this as it was close to my residence. While returning the car there was nothing to point out. The day after, they charged my credit card an extra 172$ for finding ash under the seats while neither me nor my wife are smokers. I called and there was no evidence they could provide me but I believe it was sort of an scam to overcharge me since I did not get the insurance from them. I have never had similar experience with other car rentals. read more

This place is horrible! They lie and engage in fraud. First they falsely advertise as an airport location and you have to take a Lyft or Uber to the location which is over $20. Then the manager claimed they needed a copy of my insurance policy (no other rental company does that they all just ask if you want coverage from them yes or no not for a copy of your personal policy). When I told him this was not appropriate or legal he refused to honor the rental and accused me of lying that the policy was on my phone which it was not and said he knew I was hiding it on my phone. Finally to resolve this I had to call the police who got the manager to admit he was lying that he did not know what was on my phone and would have no way to know. After this he was going to honor the rental until another woman from another company in the building ordered him not to on account of my disability. At this point I had to go to Enterprise and forget this scam artist company. read more

I was excited to find a local car rental company that was cheaper than the major brands, but you get what you pay for and in this case Priceless got a free tire and I got a lesson on tire maintenance. I didn't check the tires before leaving their lot and about 90 miles outside of Austin the rear tire exploded, literally the entire wall of tire blew out, and when I called them for next steps they said it was my problem, like an act of God. I didn't drive over a nail or hit a curb, but I hadn't checked the tires before driving. All the major brands have contracts with the tire changing companies for this situation, but not Priceless. They clearly had not checked the tire for bubbles and now I know that I always need to check tires before I rent a car. Lessons learned: check the tires on your car rentals and rent from a major brand that doesn't expect you to buy them a new tire when their worn-out tire explodes. read more
