This review is not so much about Orice Storage as it about two of their Azusa office managers, Jessica and Chris, so the star rating is for them. I had decided to relocate to another storage facility, and was making arrangements with movers. I needed to send a photo of the unit and contents the next day, Tuesday. Because Price Storage had scheduled to paint their facility's storage doors beginning the same day, I was told that I could not access my unit Saturday, four days later. I had not received any previous notice or e-mail of this, and I was upset because I had one week to vacate my unit, and could not finish moving arrangements without the mover seeing how much needed moving. I went to Price to see if anything could be worked out. Jessica was there. I told her of the problem. In the end, she could do nothing. But I was upset because I could not complete my plans, could not secure the movers, or know the cost. I was also leaving Price because they were increasing rentals every 6 months. I vented, telling Jessica that I knew that she was not the cause. She listened, and remained calm. She understood what was needed, and tried to at least assuage me. She was lovely. Jessica communicates well, and really listens (unusual in a lot of workers). She is an asset to the company. On Saturday, I met Chris, an amiable and knowledgeable manager. He understood what had transpired and my desire to leave a recommendation for Jessica. read more

I have the opportunity to deal with a very nice person by the name of Eric Veluz. Mr Veluz helped me to walk to the process cuz this is my first time to rent a storage. Cool guy & very approachable person. He told me he is the leasing agent & what a great experience to talk to a kind person like him. I think me & my wife will work for this guy for a long period of time . I went to a couple of self storage places near Azusa ca, close by my house u-haul storage included & almost all of the are really bad. They just don't care while I was inquiring. Staff is mostly on point. However these rate increases are ridiculous. I think they prefer the turnover. They are good short term, but if you plan on using a unit for more than 6 months be prepared for no notice to maybe 15 day notice of rate increase. I been renting storage unit from this place for 4yrs. Here are my Advise and though for this place. *They were really great, friendly and helpful if you looking for new storage unit to rent. However once you moved in, you have some issue, they don't give a shit about you. * be aware your monthly rate will consistently going up, sometimes will without notification prior of time. *when you move you stuff into the storage, make sure you take a photo every time you leave, also try to save as many as receipt you can for the stuff you put it in there. Reason why?? Because there is high chance you stuff will missing from the unit. (Happened to me)there is a thief inside!!! *make sure you put 15 days notice before you move out. Especially do it 15days before your month cycle ends. I did it 5 days before my month cycle ends, so my choice is still have to move out by the 29th but pay until the 10th of next month.(they said they cant prorated charge you for the new month, but funny is they prorated charge you when you move in) Also the amount has to be cash only(really suspicious) Updated: For the 15days notice I'm ok with paying it, that part I understand however by paying you extra 15days I expect stay there for the day you paid however this is not happen in here. But the funny thing is when I was there to close out my account, a guy had the same situation as me, all he does is pay for the 15days prorated charge and he can stay until the day he paid!! So my question is why you treat people differently??? Also about missing things in the storage unit, I'm sure you knew what happen and you guys cover up quick so off course policy won't see any evidence. It's not the cheapest place in town but that is because it's not the cheapest place in town, in the sense that they take great pride in keeping everything immaculate & up to date. They take care of the entire property & grounds. I have rented a unit here in the past & would absolutely rent here again! The first thing I noticed about this place is how ridiculously clean it is! When I was moving stuff in I saw an employee pressure washing a recently vacated unit. I was curious & asked why was he doing that. He responded saying this is customary for each recently vacated unit so the next owner gets a clean & fresh storage unit. They take great care of the facilities, I was impressed! Omg I can not rave enough about how helpful Jessica and her husband (the owners/managers at this location) are soooo helpful. Since day one (back in November) when we first moved in Jessica was the biggest help. We have definitely been ripped off from storage facilities and had a bad taste in our mouth. But Jessica was able to completely change our experience with Price self storage and to say the least we will always be coming back to this location. She saved us time and money by giving us two lockers almost right next to each other. They also have a discount where you get your first month free but only up to the 10 x 10. So that we could still get her discount she gave us two 10x 10 units instead of trying to sell us a 10 x 20 where we would have had to pay over $300 our first month. Instead our first month came out to about $100. And when we were late to vacate the storage unit instead of charging us a whole Nother month they gave us the opportunity to do a pro rate which was only $10 as compared to a whole Nother month which would have been $151. Very disappointed in the lack of follow up on the supervisor, Tiffany. I was in need of a storage unit and actual used their services in the past. They also offer free pickup of your stuff if you line up to 15miles from the facility. Since I lived 17-21miles from the storage unit I was told numerous times I would be getting a follow up call to see if I can get a exception. I gladly even offered to make up the difference in cost. Well after a week of no return calls and being reassured that I would get an answer and not getting one. Finally after I had to call in again, I was told they would not accommodate. I was really disappointed in how this matter was handled and cannot recommend a place that can't even give a valid reason why no follow-up was done sooner and/or what the reason is for not working with a potential customer. read more

I spoke with Tiffany on Tuesday and she guaranteed me a space on Saturday for my 35' boat trailer. I pulled it out of where I had it, called them to let them know I was on my way to find out they gave my space away. I had to call back twice before the (I use this term jokingly) "manager" Tiffany would return my call. She offered no apology, no solution, nothing but a (I still can't believe this) laugh!!! She had the nerve to actually laugh. Most unprofessional experience I have ever had with a storage company. I'm sure it's hard to fine people to work that job and if she is any example of what it takes to manage a storage facility...I may send my 9 year old son down there.
