Price was not the only factor in hiring Juan and his team. They listened to what I wanted and gave me a price that was competitive and reasonable. The most important thing was the job was done correctly, they cleaned up perfectly, and when they showed up, they were professional and courteous. It was also very important I found somebody that was insured due to the nature of the size of the trees . You should do yourself a favor and give them a call. Thanks Juan- your crew did a great job! The whole squad took out a 30 foot dying oak I had, trimmed a Chinese elm, took out 3 massive Junipers which we're directly above our gas line. That one I was worried about but they we're careful, heard my concerns, and handled everything flawlessly. (Be sure you call DigAlert to get utilities to come mark if you have something similar!) I expected my yard to get banged up considering what this work actually is, so that expectation was set and understood, and were they exceeded was how fast they did everything and their cleanup was thorough. They went into my neighbors yard as well and cleaned up debree. No broken sprinklers, nothing messed up considering the intensity of this work. Overall very pleased, they did a great job and it was priced correctly. Def would use them again for future projects like this.

I should expect a little bit of this but from my time doing construction a few pieces of solid plywood laid down before running the grinder on the lawn would have minimized the lawn damage. Also, they did not fully clean up as promised. Side of the house has to be cleaned up now and I had to ask them to at least blow off the sidewalk before they left. A better job taking care of my property would have given 5 stars.

Efren and his team did a great job and cleaned up everything afterward, making the whole area look better than when they arrived. I would definitely use them again and recommend them to anyone who needs tree trimming or removal.

I found My Tree Experts on Yelp and was impressed with their 5.0 star rating. Now that I have used…read morethem, I can see why they are rated 5 stars: they are fantastic! I had them and 2 other tree cutting companies (that I first screened on Yelp) out to my house to see about removing a large Queen Palm palm tree because it was on my grass and I wanted to have it removed to get artificial grass put in and not have to worry about having to water the palm tree. Efran came out initially to give me the estimate and I was impressed both with his good price but most of all how he assured me that they'd take good care of my yard when removing the palm and not hurt my children's swing-set (located right next to the palm tree that needs removed) and also I have glass railings as my fence for my yard and I was concerned about them getting hurt. I also liked how Efran told me they would go as deep as possible with their small stump grinder (still good size, but their large one wouldn't fit though my side gate to get into my yard) and could go down about 6 inches and remove all the roots of the palm so the soil would be all ready for when the artificial grass is installed. On the day of the job, Martin (Efran's brother so he was a trusted supervisor as well) came out to supervise the crew of workers. Martin went over the project with me which I appreciated and then the guys got to work. I also liked how Martin was honest and when I asked him about if another palm tree needed trimmed he told me "no, it didn't" so that way Martin saved me money and didn't try to sell me work that didn't need done. I thought that showed a lot of professionalism and integrity! First the workers put wood around my glass walls and carefully moved my lighting and other above-ground-drip-irrigation out of the way of where they'd be cutting. Then one worker climbed up the palm tree and chain-sawed off the palm fronds and then started cutting the trunk into little cylinder logs and carefully dropped them down to the ground being careful not to damage anything - which I appreciated! Then they used the stump grinder, as promised, and got rid of the stump and all those finger-like-roots that palm trees have. Then Martin showed me the finished work and the guys used the blower and rake and cleaned up my yard a bit. All done! Overall, I am super happy with Efran, Martin and the crew of My Tree Experts! I highly recommend them - especially if you need any large trees removed as they do it with care/precision!

I've updated my review to 5 stars. I literally posted this review this morning and when I came home…read morefrom work today, the stump (for the 4 star review) was gone! I'm so happy! I love the no fuss, no excuse attitude. Looks like Roman and his crew just came and took care of it. P.S. Roman also seems very knowledgeable about fruit tree trimmings. When he was here about the estimate, he gave some great advice about our orange trees. We'll probably contact him about that when the time is right. ---- Overall, we had a good experience with this company, and I think four stars is a fair reflection of the work, our overall experience, and the issue we had with them. We hired them to remove two VERY tall palm trees, as well as a large tree and some plants around the foundation of our home because we wanted to minimize watering close to the house. I received three quotes before deciding who to hire. Their price came in right in the middle (about $500 difference between the cheapest, and about $500 cheaper than the highest bid. I felt the value for the amount of work they did was very good since they basically discounted the random plants they took out. Roman was very knowledgeable from the beginning. When he came out to give us a quote, he looked at our yard, assessed whether their equipment would fit through the available space, and talked through how they could complete the job given the access limitations. That gave me a lot of confidence that he knew what he was doing. Roman was also very quick to respond. He was the first to respond and didn't pressure us to commit. He gave us the quote and told us to keep him updated as we did more research. The crew arrived around 7:00 a.m., got right to work, and I believe they were finished around 11:00 a.m. I was honestly impressed by how quickly they were able to take down two huge palm trees, remove the surrounding plants, grind everything down, clean up, and haul everything away. There was also a small extra touch that I really appreciated. After grinding the palms, they explained that the material could be useful around our other plants rather than simply hauling all of it away. We have two fruit trees, so they spread some of the ground palm material around our existing landscaping for us. They certainly didn't have to take the extra time to do that, and I thought it was very thoughtful. Good thing to know is that they are also able to fix broken pipes. They broke a sprinkler and fixed it right away on the spot. The next day we noticed another broken sprinkler and text Roman. He sent his crew out right away. He's really efficient and responsive which I appreciate. The only reason I'm giving four stars instead of five is because one tree in our front yard was supposed to be completely de-rooted and unfortunately wasn't. I text Roman know, and his crew did come back to address it, which I appreciated. However, when I later started working in that area because I wanted to plant something new, I discovered that a significant portion of the root/stump was still there. I reached out a couple more times but unfortunately didn't receive a response. That was disappointing, especially because part of the reason we hired the company was to have everything fully removed so we could start fresh with the landscaping. I think four stars is fair given the overall value of the work, while also taking into account that part of the job remains unresolved. Other customers may have rated the experience lower based on the unresolved root removal, especially since that was part of the work we agreed upon. However, I also want to be fair and give credit for the work that was done well, which was the majority of the job. Had the remaining root been fully removed, this would have been a five-star experience.

Excellent Tree Service!…read more I highly recommend Orange County Tree Service and Roman and his team! From start to finish, they were fantastic. The entire crew was on time, professional, respectful, and incredibly polite. They worked quickly and efficiently, and when they were finished, they did an amazing job cleaning everything up. They removed a ton of large trees all the way down to the root balls, which was a big job, and they handled it beautifully. What impressed me even more was that they took the time to save a small lemon tree and carefully replant it so it wouldn't die. That really showed me that they care about their work and their customers--not just getting the job done. As a local Orange County Realtor, I've worked with plenty of contractors and service companies over the years, and I can honestly say this team is excellent! If you need tree removal or tree service, I would absolutely recommend Roman and his crew. You won't be disappointed!

I cannot believe I've not yet reviewed Octavio's Tree Service! I thought I'd done this years ago!…read more I have some trees along my property that have to be trimmed annually so as not to impede my neighbor's driveway and solar panels, and after myriad negative experiences with my regular gardeners as well as random companies hired over the years, all of whom hacked the trees nearly to death and charged me a fortune for the privilege, I finally found Octavio's and have never looked back. Eric is amazing - extremely responsive, always willing to work with my schedule (sometimes he's willing and able to show up sooner than I'm actually prepared for and I have to ask him to delay a day or three!), and on a few occasions (including the most recent one), I've asked him at the last minute to add something and he's always happy to do it. Pricing is competitive. Of course, any time you're dealing with trees, you're looking at more money than you'd like to spend, but at this point, I no longer call anyone else because not only do I trust I'm getting a good price, but I also know that I will also get excellent service on all counts. He also shows up with his crew to touch base with the homeowner, which is a touch I've always appreciated. And to that end, his crews are always on time, professional, work incredibly efficiently (and effectively!), and clean up to the point you'd never know they were there. If any business owner out there needs some advice on how a company should be run, give Eric a call for some tips. Last Friday, a tree on my property abruptly fell (partially). I texted him a picture out of nowhere, asking if he could help. He was here within a couple of hours (didn't even ask for my address - granted, it was in our text history, but still!), confirmed for me the tree was dead, chopped the 12'+ fallen branch blocking my front porch and moved it to the side, and had his crew here on Monday (right on time, of course) to remove the branch as well as the tree itself. They also removed a small tree elsewhere on the property that I added onto the job at the last minute. I'm sad about the first tree going (not at all sad about the second; I'd just been thinking an hour before the tree in front fell that I HATED the one in the back - kismet), but as always, Octavio's came in clutch. If you've stumbled upon their listing, you don't need to read my lengthy review to know you've come to the right place - the stars tell the tale - but if you happened to read all this, let me assure you that you can stop looking right now.
