Wow a great selection on tap
    Kevin L.

I wanted to meet up with a good friend and I wanted a place that had cool vibes and some good beers on tap. Decided to visit Pretzels & Pints in North Park and what a great choice made. The tap list was amazing, a beer for even the pickiest beer snob. Not to mentions their great selection of pretzels as well? Kicked back with some great conversations with my friend, enjoyed some great brews, a pretzel and finished it off with some tastily nachos. The service was unbelievable, I felt both welcomed and appreciated. As an added bonus this place is "dog friendly" and they support the North Park Little League to a large extent! All in All My friend and I had a terrific time and without a doubt we will be back, and hopefully sometime soon. I love supporting local businesses and especially this one for sure. I highly recommend Pretzels & Pints and I promise You won't be disappointed. "Cheers"

I should have taken a picture of the TINY little sandwich. Not worth the price at all! Pretzel was good. Beer options are good. It was trivia night and got pretty packed. Someone asked to share our table & we agreed. They whipped out Indian food which smelled really strong. Who does that? It basically forced us to leave.

I came here on a Tuesday just in time for happy hour. This is one of those places that I have known about for a long time but never made the time to actually go. I'm so glad I finally did because this bar is such a cool vibe. Upon walking in it feels homey and nostalgic. We ordered the jumbo Bavarian pretzel. It was warm and fresh. The beer cheese to dip the pretzel in was the best part. It was the best pairing to have with our beers. I will definitely be back!

The BEST Pretzel I've had. Warm with the perfect crunch to soft inside ratio. Guy was nice and funny. Place is chill and enough space for family with children. That's a plus being in Northpark. Bring a sweater! We also got an envelope with a surprise coupon inside. THEY (not you...I almost did ) open the envelope in January.

Loved visiting on a Friday during happy hour. My husband and I wanted to catch the Padres game and enjoy beers and this place was perfect for it. There are a ton of TVs both inside and outdoors on the patio. All of the staff were super friendly and helpful as we chose what to order. We got draft beers ($2 off during happy hour) and the jumbo pretzel with honey mustard and ground mustard. YUM! If you don't know, this is a Phillys bar through and through. As someone from NJ it kind of felt like home to be transported back east considering all of the decor, pretzels, Italian ice, and overall vibes. The place is very dog friendly so we brought our dog Maya out on the patio while we watched the game. Loved the experience and can't wait to come back for happy hour again sometime!

Full Philly Bar in San Diego!! Great location right off university in north park! Didn't even know it existed tucked away off the street. So unique all Pennsylvania and Philly themed great spot for sports! A lot of indoor and outdoor seating and lots of TVs and so many options for beer, wine and cocktails with local Pennsylvania beers and San Diego beers! Service was very fast its order at the counter for food and drinks or directly at the bar for drinks. So many pretzel food options including pizzas, sandwiches, and of course a giant pretzel with lots of dipping sides. Beer was very reasonably priced at $7 for a house ipa or Pilsner and then $8 for most all other beers. They have happy hour m-F 3-6 $2 off drinks They have longs of events including Bingo, and an all you can eat and drink pasta nights the last Monday of the month with a sponsored brewery beers only.

This place was soooo much fun. The Eagle Fan a real here. If your going to watch the game bring your green on or you will get booed. If all fun though. The pretzels were yummy and the beer selection was fun. The place was super packed when we showed up so get there early if you want a seat during the game. tv all over the place even outside.

Only had their beer and absolutely loved their options. They had a very cool patio with a nice airy atmosphere. Gotta go back to try the pretzels. The service was stellar; bartender provided excellent recommendations.

Pleasantly surprised! The pretzels here are affordable, and filling. We stopped by the day before St Paddy's. They were serving green beer, but that wasn't really my thing. Got our pints right away and our piping hot pretzel came out soon after! This is a fun place to kick back with your friends. I'm gonna bring my dogs next time.

One of our favorite spots in North Park. Super casual and low key feel. Great selection of beers and their pretzels are awesome. Usually get the Philly each time because it's so freaking fluffy and the cheese on the side is awesome. The environment is really relaxing, games are usually on in the background. So nice to sit outside and enjoy some sun with good beers and snacks. The staff is always super cool, almost like you are stepping into someone's house hanging out!

Hate to be that person but....a few things. I want to start off by saying this establishment is awesome. Customer service is great, beer is great, and food is great. That being said I child should never be allowed to sit at the bar without a parent. Not only is it a violation of the law but it's not even fair to someone going to the bar for solace. The Dad didn't even know their kid was at the bar maybe because he had 4 others but it's the bartenders job to intervene. I have attached a picture of the child at the bar too alone as well as the laws for reference. Thank you Pretzels and Pints but I do not want to sit next to someone's coughing child at the bar. Sincerely, The single community

Been coming here since I moved to San Diego in 2016 from the Lehigh Valley in PA. What started as a quick place to check out has become my favorite local spot. More than just a Philly bar, it's an amazing meet up spot for events, before a show, to catch a game, or just to socialize with warm and friendly people. Really fast service, don't need a reservation, and easy to mingle inside and on the outside patio. Also, get their Munich pretzels with the beer cheese and honey mustard. Trust me it's the move to combine them both. Original Sando is another recommendation for their sandwiches.

For a bar, that's not always a given, and as someone who doesn't drink as much these days, that immediately stood out to me. I grabbed a lavender leprechaun and it was super refreshing, light, and just a really nice change of pace from the usual soda-or-water options. It didn't feel like an afterthought, it actually felt intentional. For food, I went with the corned beef sandwich and it did not disappoint. Hearty, flavorful, and exactly what you'd want from a proper Irish pub. The whole place has that classic pub vibe but still feels welcoming whether you're drinking or not. That balance is rare, and I really appreciated it. Definitely a spot I'd come back to, especially knowing I've got solid non-alcoholic options to enjoy.

Stopped by The Field Irish Pub in downtown San Diego for a Guinness and a bite on St Patrick's Day,…read moreso as expected, it was absolutely packed. Despite the crowds, service was impressively fast. We grabbed seats at the bar and were taken care of right away, which was a pleasant surprise given how busy it was. Food-wise, the fish and chips were good, but not amazing--solid, but nothing to rave about. The sausage rolls, unfortunately, were a bit underwhelming for me. I was hoping for a crispier, flakier pastry, but they fell a little short in texture. One thing I really miss is the live music they used to have before Covid. It added so much to the atmosphere, and I'd love to see them bring that back. Outside of big events like St. Patrick's Day, the place can feel a bit quiet, so the music would definitely elevate the overall vibe. Overall, still a great spot for a pint and good service--especially impressive during peak crowds--but there's definitely room to bring back some of that old charm.

I hate leaving questionable reviews.. but also feel when we researched places we didn't get an accurate story. This is a true neighborhood pub.. the place you come so everybody knows your name. Which I love and can appreciate. But as an outsider it was kinda chaotic instead. A bartender came to clean a table for us. The largest grossest bugger hanging out of his nose, he had sweat marks so large there was no need to lift his arms to see them. He proceeded then to do shots at the bar with costumers. Which again... I totally can appreciate having a good time in a good neighborhood pub. The floors were so dirty around the booths. The menus dirty. Just over all couldn't stay and eat here. Did get some good laughs watching a few very inebriated customers, had some good drinks and went on our way. We personally wouldn't come back, but again if you live in the neighborhood and it's just that place you come to for your hang with friends, it's looks like it's a fun place.
