Me and the wife came here for a fun day date. It was wonderful, the server was chill and very friendly. Food was good, typical brewery food. I dont mind at all, but we really went for the vibe and beers. Beer was really great. This will be my kick it spot if I feel like going out.
Came here at 10:30 on a Saturday morning and was able to sit right away. The service did take a really long time but the food was very quick. The breakfast potatoes are incredible and the bacon is really good as well. Lot of flies but that's just what you get sitting outside. Of course parking in North Park is very difficult, but I'd say it's worth it and we will definitely be back for lunch.
Came here after a workout class and after grabbing coffee down the street. My partner mentioned that their breakfast burritos were really good, so we decided to give them a try. We took the burritos to-go, and they were still nice and warm during the short drive home. Overall, the burrito was solid, and the green salsa complemented it really well. If I'm in the area again and craving a breakfast burrito, I definitely know where I'll be stopping by.
Working class is one of the best spots in 92104. The lemon pepper wings.... Ooo that seasoning will have you order more! I also love loved the summer salad with the blueberries, strawberries and slivered almonds! Service was phenomenal and prices were honest.
Working class is one of my favorite breweries in north park! I love their ciders and food! Their rice bowls are delicious as well as the cajun fries!!! Servers here are so nice and they always have the games on and trivia on wednesday if I'm not wrong. Be sure to time your arrival a little early on a game day or trivia just so you can get a good seat without having to wait too long.

I came here with my husband, my brother and my dog. We had been just down the block at a rescue charity event and we knew that we wanted to get something to eat after we had passed this place after we parked our car because Northpark parking is an actual nightmare anyway we came. They had lots of room on the back patio with a picnic tables. We sat down and we got a couple of beers and we started with some chicken wings and some chili fries. so wings were great and the chili was a little too bean forward for me, but the boys liked it. I just love Texas style meat chilis. Food was really great. My husband and I got what I would call fancy burgers with you know extra toppings like blue cheese or barbecue sauce and he can't exactly remember which ones we got but my brother was more simple kind of Smashburger. Basically their basic cheeseburger, and that was the favorite of the three to be honest sometimes simple is better.

They have a digital menu, and once I sat down a server greeted me right away and brought out water. There's also a spacious back patio with plenty of seating, though I chose to sit out front. The husband wanted to try a new spot in North Park and we found this place, we did show up early as soon as they opened to make sure we grab setting for a party of 10. We had no problem finding sitting outside. I will say about an hr into opening it got pretty busy. The food was really good, fresh ingredients for sure. Our kids ate all their food with zero complains. They have a good beer selection, and they do have different seltzers and hard ciders on tap. Definitely kid and pet friendly
We came in for the $14 Tuesday burger deal that comes with an alcoholic beverage! It's the best deal around every Tuesday featuring a new burger. Our server was quick to take our order and bring out the extra condiments. This week the special consisted of green beer for st. Patrick's day! The outdoor patio is perfect for larger parties. You're also able to bring pets which is a big deal for us and our son!
Great atmosphere! Staff was very friendly and attentive. I had the hummus plate, it was great hummus and nice and hot pita bread. I also had the Reuben Sandwich. The meat was savory and the sauce instead of sauerkraut was perfect. I'm visiting from Tucson. My dog Bindi and I were welcomed and cared for. I'd go back!
Good food, good service and great bar ambiance. You can have dogs outside in the back patio. Bar food is good. I have the wet peach spot wings. They have good deals in Monday's: $1.25/wing. Only issue is parking but on a weekday you should be ok.
My husband and I had breakfast with my in-laws at Working Class on a Friday morning. We opted to sit outside at the front patio to enjoy the weather and people watch. The waitress graciously provided us some physical menus so my in-laws didn't need to navigate the QR code and online menu. Between the four of us, we got two orders of "standard breakfast," chicken and waffle, and "the day off," which is the standard breakfast plus biscuit and gravy. With our various orders, (including a particular request for one egg sunny side up and the other scrambled in the same order lol, and a lot of extra sugar packets for coffee), the staff were very accommodating and our food came quickly and prepared exactly as asked! My husband's chicken was on the drier side while my house potatoes were slightly too salty for my taste, but overall we enjoyed our visit and were happy to bring leftovers back to enjoy as a snack later.

With so much turnover in the North Park neighborhood, I would consider Working Class as one of the older establishments along 30th St. It's an extremely canine friendly business with a section on the menu featuring edibles for dogs. There's a covered front patio, a bar with countertop seating and several high-top tables inside, and then a back patio. I recently came for breakfast as they open at 9 am daily which is not that common for a bar and grill. Paper menus used to be available, however like many eateries, they have moved to a QR code provided at each table to scan and view the online version. Breakfast fare was served until 2 pm. What caught my attention was the Shrimp and Cheddar Grits ($17). The dish consisted of two eggs any style, chili-rub shrimp, diced bacon, and tomato in a bed of cheddar laced grits. I asked for the eggs to be scrambled. The bowl came with a decent serving of the above contents. I liked the addition of the bacon and tomato that gave a salty and acidic flavor profile, respectively. The disappointment was only three medium sized shrimp were included. I had expected double that number because shrimp was the first word in the name of the item so it should have been featured more. The service from the waitress was pleasant. I gave a 3.5 rating for this visit to Working Class. read more
I had a great experience here and would definitely come back. My review is mainly for drinks, service and the facilities. I did not have anything to eat this time but will try the food next time. KPBS was having their One Book One San Diego event here and I was interested so stopped in today check it out. I am a bookworm and love reading so this event was perfect! This event also unveiled the top 10 books for each category including adults, teens and children. I learned that over 750+ book entries were received! Wow! At my table, I ended up meeting a librarian, a teacher and a publisher. The librarian was part of the selection committee and she suggested so many good books! She mentioned a book about octopus conversation in the atolls and my ears perked up. The book is Mountain in the Sea by Ray Nayler and its on my shortlist to read soon! Waiting for it on Libby! OK. back to the venue. We had the side part of the bar and everything was outside so that was nice. Service was great and Zach did a great job getting everyone's orders. I started off with a special edition One Book, One Brew beer, brewed in the Kolsch style and limited edition beer by Chula Vista Brewery. Nice, crisp and summery beer! I also had a margarita too, that was so-so for me so next time will stick with beers. Parking around here is a pain but I did find a spot after circling a few times. This bar/restaurant is in a hip part of North Park and I can see myself coming here to meet up friends or other events. I'll be back!! read more

Loved their chicken but I don't like waffles that are more on the softer side! I like mine a lil on crisper side. I wanted a breakfast spot that had some chicken on the menu haha and the hot sauce didn't disappoint it was so damn good! Had my nose running just like I like it haha but that's how you know you have some good hot sauce, it's cleansing your palette and sinuses all at the same. I should have taken more pics but after a night downtown from Halloween in San Diego on a Friday night I just needed food and something to drank haha. A perfect brunch spot where you have options of their breakfast and lunch menu. We came in with a party of 7 and it is all self seating. I got "The Day Off" which consisted of biscuits and gravy, eggs, potatoes, sausage, and toast. It was truly the perfect breakfast that hit the spot. The potatoes were perfectly crunchy and the gravy was seasoned well. Service was also pretty quick considering how big our party was. Will definitely be coming back to try some other things on their menu. read more
One of my favorite spots of a beer and to watch a sports game. In the middle of north park lots of other businesses around. The beer selection is very extensive with drafts and many non alcoholic optional too. The back Patio is the best a lot of wooden benches. Fully open seating even for large parties and a lot of TVs. The covered back patio gets a great breeze in the summer while staying covered. The food is great too lots of options. My favorite are the chili fries. Staff is super friendly and very fast to get you your drink. Very attentive and checks in often. read more
A casual spot that truly lives up to its name, Working Class is a wonderful, no-frills spot local to North Park. Great place to grab a beer on draft, with a vast array of menu items. They even serve breakfast on weekends until 2 pm, which made it a natural choice for a Sunday hangover brunch with the girls. I LOVED the breakfast burrito -- they do not skimp on fully loading it. The vegetarian options were a plus. The breakfast skillet was also a highlight. Has two dog-friendly patios in both the front and the back, as well as an indoor seating option. Very friendly service (even if a bit slow) and social vibe. Highly recommend! read more

I really liked this place! First time here. Definitely better experience than I expected. The place has a nice set up, clean, pretty spacious. I like that you have options for sitting: outside in the front, the patio and inside. There's also a small booth area as well to sit. The staff here is really nice, very pleasant. Karen was the person who waited for me and my friend and she was terrific! Probably some of the best service I've had from wait staff. The food here is really good. I would say I'm not a fan of Mimosas but Karen made it top notch. Best mimosa I've ever had. They have a pretty good happy hour. Patio area is dog friendly. It's in a really nice area. Parking can be a bit of a pain but not impossible. It is north park so that is to be expected. Overall though I would recommend this place no questions asked. read more

I came here with no expectations and really enjoyed our experience. Our server, Karen, was friendly and attentive. I ordered the non alcoholic michelada, only because I was still working lol, and the flavor was there but I'm just going to have to come back for a michelada with alcohol because it did have an unusual after taste. Or maybe I'm just not used to nonalcoholic drinks lol. The hot dog was juicy, good size and flavor, and contained the perfect amount of toppings. The sweet potato fries though were the WINNER. Best I've ever had in my life! Great flavor, crispness, texture, salt level, and even the cut/shape of them was perfect. I'll definitely be back! read more

Me and my boyfriend are visiting from Northern California and we found this place on Yelp. I had a craving for biscuits and gravy and it did not disappoint! When you walk in it has laid back bar vibes and everyone greeted us who worked there which was nice. They have a cute little QR code to view the menu. The waitress was very nice and attentive to us and offered refills (which is a big deal now a days lol). We both got The Day Off meal which has a biscuits with gravy, potatoes or hash browns, bacon two eggs and toast. The gravy is a bit spicy, I didn't see any sausage in it but it still had good flavor (I could be wrong about the sausage) but I'd totally Order again! $17 for each meal which isn't bad and they gave huge portions. Friendly atmosphere, friendly people and good food! Def recommend read more
Great North Park gem that has a great vibe, great food/drinks and great staff. I ordered their Cajun chicken sandwich as well as some pretzel bites. The pretzel bites were perfectly baked and the Cajun chicken sandwich was packed with flavor! I've always loved how dog friendly this bar is and how decently priced everything on the menu is. I have been here many times for burgers or a quick beer and staff is always incredibly friendly and the atmosphere is great. This time, I came to try their breakfast for the first time. I tried their Breakfast Skillet with sausage. I'm glad I got the sriracha crema on the side because I wasn't a big fan of it. I liked the skillet a lot and would get it again. However, I do wish they had more chicken options because there is a lotta pork options on the menu and my friend that came with me can't eat pork. read more

Our full menu ends nightly at 10PM. We do have a late night menu that ends at midnight!

No, I don't think so. When I was there they had a BREAKFAST/LUNCH menu but it was time restricted. But the DINNER menu had a selection of breakfast items available.
