This is hands down the BEST sports bar in San Diego. The vibes are always immaculate. TVs every where. On busy game days, make sure to come early. This place opens in the morning during big games. There are sometimes a line through the door. You order at the bar only and find a seat. Good is pretty good bar food nothing fancy, yummy drinks. There is something for everyone. They also have salad if you're trying to live that healthy life.

This bar is so spacious and has so much seating! There are plenty of tvs so you can see it from anywhere you sit and they play all the games. All of the cocktails I tried were delicious, and I also got the side of fries and fried cauliflower and they were delicious! They were battered fries so not gluten free. The fries had a slightly crispy outside with a nice soft inside. The cauliflower was quite oily, but if you are down for the oil, it's great. Plus the lemon aioli that it comes with is quite refreshing. Overall it is a great place to hang out with friends and gather. The staff were very sweet and the food came out very fast. There is a front area with plenty of seating as well a back patio with more seating. The patio is completely covered and enclosed and it didn't feel like it got much airflow. Parking can be a bit tricky in this area, it is all street parking. This place is also dog friendly!

Who knew Fat Tuesday would have special po boys! It was super tasty and filling. I love fried pickles and ranch but their chipotle sauce or maybe thousand island was even better. I love FairPlay for their food already and they've got a fun atmosphere with booths and all their tvs to watch the games.

I am genuinely shocked. I have yet to make a review for the spot. This is not my first time coming to this location. However, my most recent trip to here was to watch the USA versus Canada Olympics gold game. The game started at 5:10 in the morning, and I knew this spot would be open to allow people to watch the game with others. This place was quite packed for such an early game. I give a huge appreciation shout out to any of those workers who have been there to open up early so that certain games can be watched. They were able to start serving food early in those hours, but of course serving alcohol cannot start until 6 AM. I definitely recommend this spot if you are a fan of sports. They are pretty diligent in showcasing a variety of sports. They even have on their Instagram a TV guide that they post what sports games will be shown throughout the day.

Fairplay's happy hour rocks. I love popping in here before or after tattoo appointments. These were the best fries and wings I've had in a while - and who doesn't love self-serve sauces?!! Also, must note that this draft Paloma is an excellent one! I enjoy the ambiance here more when it's not full of sports fans, since I don't enjoy sports myself, but no complaints either way. ;)

Rolled thru on Sunday evening for chili cheese fries. The place was empty with only a could people finishing ng off their weekend. Ordered from the bar to-go. They give you pager and you pick up at kitchen window. Chili cheese fries half order were solid. Fries were fresh and crisp, chili was chili, cheese sauce was not the best but it's what I wanted, so it worked. I want to return for sports viewing and a few brewskis.

This quickly became one of my favorite options to watch sports. They post the games they'll be showing in their Instagram and they host lots of watch parties. Usually, if there's a game you want to watch, they'll find a way to put it on. The food is really great. As a pescatarian, they have a lot of really delicious options! Their fries and ranch are some of my favorite in North Park (and that's coming from a Michigander)!

Came to watch SDFC play. It was packed. The crowd was rowdy (in a good way) and it was a good time because they brought the energy. We ended up staying a bit after the game and it was the complete opposite once everyone left. And so I think if it's not a game or a big event or a Friday night because the lines to get in are always ridiculously long..I wouldn't necessarily come. This place always seems to be packed starting around 7pm on weekends and continues into the night and I'm guessing it's for the drinks because the food isn't that spectacular. There was 3 in my group and we had the typical bar food stuff - nachos, burgers, wings. All average to below average. I did not feel like it was worth spending money here for food. Drinks were fine. You order at the bar. Menu is on the walls in case you don't want to be staring at your phone. They have hoppy beer, nitros, light and then a few beers under the label "other" which are ciders, international beer, kombucha etc. and of course they have bottled beer like coors light and non alcoholic. If beer isn't your jam, there are some fun looking cocktails which are relatively cheap. Only about 11 dollars. You can sign me up for those prices anytime! Because it's packed, finding seating is always and adventure. Having 3 in my group made it difficult because it's an odd number. You just gotta keep your eyes open and move with the quickness. Be prepared / be open to sharing space with others. Overall. I think it's a bit overrated. I experienced it and feel like maybe I'll come back during a party night but I wouldn't necessarily be running back here.

We love it here :) we always get the smoked salmon salad, secret menu fries, beer , & playboy martini. The service is always great. Those are so good we always stick to it but one day we will venture off our usual in the menu. Perfect for watching games, catching up with friends , chill vibes all around.

I was in the area and decided to stop by. The bartender was really cool and helpful. They have lots of tv's so definitely a good place to watch a game. The drinks were good and my grudge liked their food, so I'd probably be back to catch a game.

Great beer list with a great staff. It's my first time here and I noticed a very clean bar and tables as well. It has great ventilation with fans keeping it cool inside.

Such an interesting layout, but it works! We got to sit at a table right next to the waterfall and pond. Our server was very nice. Probably the only slip-up in service, was that our main came out when we had barely put a dent in apps. We were probably chatting and sipping on wine too much? The expo realized, kept the mains, and said take your time. Then he brought out mains when we were ready. Everything on the menu sounded amazing. My friend and I decided to both get the steak on the hot stone. It comes out raw and you have to keep track of time to cook it how you like it. You can choose flavored salts and butters and sauces for the side. We also shared the pickled strawberry salad. It had lots of toppings, flavor, and textures. The pozole verde was also excellent.

Our daughter, who loves a good steak at 5 years old, enjoyed their pub steak and fries and shared a Mexican Coke with her brother. For my husband and I, we enjoyed sharing their beef tartare and to finish it off, a banana split. What we found so whimsical about Finca is their presentation. It's located in City Heights, which isn't an area I drive through very often, but I was craving a good burger and finally decided it was time to check this place out. I stopped by for a late lunch on Saturday, and there were only a few people inside. The place has plenty of seating at the bar along with a few tables and a very casual, laid-back vibe. I ordered the Salute without bacon. I had read that they cook their fries in 100% beef tallow, and after seeing so many reviews rave about the rosemary fries, I definitely had to try them. They did not disappoint! They were super crispy on the outside, soft and fluffy inside, and the combination of sea salt and rosemary was absolutely delicious. Honestly, the fries alone are worth coming back for. The burger was also cooked perfectly medium, just as I ordered, and was incredibly juicy. I did ask about the beef since I originally came here because of the ranch I knew they had sourced from. They told me they now use meat from a different ranch, but it's still pasture-raised, grass-fed beef. You could definitely taste the quality. The portion was generous, and I thought the price was very reasonable for the quality and amount of food you get. They also feature different burger specials/flavors each month, which gives me another reason to come back. If I'm craving a really good burger and crispy fries, I would definitely make the trip over here again.

Upon entering, they were so busy that no one greeted us, but we know the drill and we selected a sit down dining table vs the bar top. Tuesdays are "Kids Eat Free" under 12, with the purchase of an adult meal per child. This is such a great deal for families. There were a lot of families dining, about 5-6, on this Tuesday Night at 6p. Our server (a young man with dark hair) came to take our beverage orders and ask if we wanted apps. We passed on the apps but ordered: 1 tangerine soda, and the rest waters. He came back in about 5-7 mins with our drinks. At that time, we ordered: 2 BBQ Bacon Burgers Medium Well, and 1 Grilled Chicken Sandwich. Our food was ready in a longer amount of time than usual. We waited for about 26-28 mins for it after we placed our order. We figured that with the busy family orders, this could have been the delay. Also, there seemed to be 1 person (our server) manning the serving and the bar customers for quite some time alone. He was doing both jobs the majority of the time we were there. He was working hard. Finally, after we got our food, another person appeared at the bar and was helping in. We noticed that the chalkboard updated us and said that they have a new Oceanside location. This is wonderful news! We are happy to see this business grow. We have been customers since they were first starting up and it's great to see them thrive. Our food was good and we especially appreciate that the rosemary fries are prepared so well. It was a pleasure to dine here again.
