This bar is so spacious and has so much seating! There are plenty of tvs so you can see it from anywhere you sit and they play all the games. All of the cocktails I tried were delicious, and I also got the side of fries and fried cauliflower and they were delicious! They were battered fries so not gluten free. The fries had a slightly crispy outside with a nice soft inside. The cauliflower was quite oily, but if you are down for the oil, it's great. Plus the lemon aioli that it comes with is quite refreshing. Overall it is a great place to hang out with friends and gather. The staff were very sweet and the food came out very fast. There is a front area with plenty of seating as well a back patio with more seating. The patio is completely covered and enclosed and it didn't feel like it got much airflow. Parking can be a bit tricky in this area, it is all street parking. This place is also dog friendly!

Who knew Fat Tuesday would have special po boys! It was super tasty and filling. I love fried pickles and ranch but their chipotle sauce or maybe thousand island was even better. I love FairPlay for their food already and they've got a fun atmosphere with booths and all their tvs to watch the games.

I am genuinely shocked. I have yet to make a review for the spot. This is not my first time coming to this location. However, my most recent trip to here was to watch the USA versus Canada Olympics gold game. The game started at 5:10 in the morning, and I knew this spot would be open to allow people to watch the game with others. This place was quite packed for such an early game. I give a huge appreciation shout out to any of those workers who have been there to open up early so that certain games can be watched. They were able to start serving food early in those hours, but of course serving alcohol cannot start until 6 AM. I definitely recommend this spot if you are a fan of sports. They are pretty diligent in showcasing a variety of sports. They even have on their Instagram a TV guide that they post what sports games will be shown throughout the day.

Fairplay's happy hour rocks. I love popping in here before or after tattoo appointments. These were the best fries and wings I've had in a while - and who doesn't love self-serve sauces?!! Also, must note that this draft Paloma is an excellent one! I enjoy the ambiance here more when it's not full of sports fans, since I don't enjoy sports myself, but no complaints either way. ;)

Rolled thru on Sunday evening for chili cheese fries. The place was empty with only a could people finishing ng off their weekend. Ordered from the bar to-go. They give you pager and you pick up at kitchen window. Chili cheese fries half order were solid. Fries were fresh and crisp, chili was chili, cheese sauce was not the best but it's what I wanted, so it worked. I want to return for sports viewing and a few brewskis.

We love it here :) we always get the smoked salmon salad, secret menu fries, beer , & playboy martini. The service is always great. Those are so good we always stick to it but one day we will venture off our usual in the menu. Perfect for watching games, catching up with friends , chill vibes all around.

This quickly became one of my favorite options to watch sports. They post the games they'll be showing in their Instagram and they host lots of watch parties. Usually, if there's a game you want to watch, they'll find a way to put it on. The food is really great. As a pescatarian, they have a lot of really delicious options! Their fries and ranch are some of my favorite in North Park (and that's coming from a Michigander)!

Came to watch SDFC play. It was packed. The crowd was rowdy (in a good way) and it was a good time because they brought the energy. We ended up staying a bit after the game and it was the complete opposite once everyone left. And so I think if it's not a game or a big event or a Friday night because the lines to get in are always ridiculously long..I wouldn't necessarily come. This place always seems to be packed starting around 7pm on weekends and continues into the night and I'm guessing it's for the drinks because the food isn't that spectacular. There was 3 in my group and we had the typical bar food stuff - nachos, burgers, wings. All average to below average. I did not feel like it was worth spending money here for food. Drinks were fine. You order at the bar. Menu is on the walls in case you don't want to be staring at your phone. They have hoppy beer, nitros, light and then a few beers under the label "other" which are ciders, international beer, kombucha etc. and of course they have bottled beer like coors light and non alcoholic. If beer isn't your jam, there are some fun looking cocktails which are relatively cheap. Only about 11 dollars. You can sign me up for those prices anytime! Because it's packed, finding seating is always and adventure. Having 3 in my group made it difficult because it's an odd number. You just gotta keep your eyes open and move with the quickness. Be prepared / be open to sharing space with others. Overall. I think it's a bit overrated. I experienced it and feel like maybe I'll come back during a party night but I wouldn't necessarily be running back here.

Great beer list with a great staff. It's my first time here and I noticed a very clean bar and tables as well. It has great ventilation with fans keeping it cool inside.

I was in the area and decided to stop by. The bartender was really cool and helpful. They have lots of tv's so definitely a good place to watch a game. The drinks were good and my grudge liked their food, so I'd probably be back to catch a game.

Service 10/5 stars. Everyone from the people behind the bar to the kitchen are incredibly friendly every time we come in. If you want to come for a main event, get there early. It can get pretty packed in here. They post their tv schedule on instagram which is super convenient when you're scouting a place to watch a specific game. Their food is consistently delicious for bar food. Highly recommend the pastrami sandwich, fish and chips, loaded fries, and breakfast burrito. The only thing missing from here is a happy hour, but they've been doing fine without one. Dog friendly as well!

Stopped by on a friday for happy hour (2-5pm) and loved it! Tons of space & TVs - the kiwi strawberry tea seltzer + the mini corn dogs were delish.

When I made the reservation, it was noted that there is a 1.5 hour limit on the table. Thankfully, Botanica isn't incredibly stringent about this rule as it gave us more time to eat, drink and be merry. My friend and I split the bill and I paid $87.49 with tip included. Here's what we had: Blistered shishito peppers - mild spice but flavorful New York strip yakitori - ordered two of these because they were that good! The steak was tender and the sauce rendered an umami flavor Botanika roll - tasted fine, but it ate one note. You can taste the citrusy parts but not much else. Mochi dessert - you can only get dessert if you order the pre fixe chef menu, but since our waitress didn't know this, she put the order in and gave it to us! We were incredibly grateful because it was the perfect end to a good meal For cocktails we ordered Spirited Away, Dragon of the West, Kyoko Sakura & Heads will Roll. All of the cocktails were beautifully presented and quite tasty.

I made a reservation (just in case) because on a weekend you never know. Luckily, though, we arrived and there was plenty of available seating. My husband and I had our 10 and 5 year old with us and they easily accommodated us. It's a straightforward, but lovely menu that has a little bit for everyone. We enjoyed sharing a few plates and fresh oysters on the half shell. They do not have a kids menu, which was alright with us. Our daughter, who loves a good steak at 5 years old, enjoyed their pub steak and fries and shared a Mexican Coke with her brother. For my husband and I, we enjoyed sharing their beef tartare and to finish it off, a banana split. What we found so whimsical about Finca is their presentation. My husband and I really enjoyed exploring their menu and leaving room for a return visit soon. This place came up as a completely alcohol free bar and I was so excited to try it out. The bartenders were friendly, the vibe in here is so awesome. Cool things to look at on the walls, an entire shelf of non-alcoholic wines and beers, merch from the owner herself, it was a very unique and hip place. I really couldn't believe I had the bar to myself on a Tuesday night around 6. The message this place stands by is what makes it amazing to me. Check out their website, you'll see what I mean. In the mornings they have functional coffee drinks and by night they have functional cocktails. There were delicious options to choose from, some with Kava, some with CBD. I ended up going with the drink called the weekend, which was watermelon, coconut, peach, cherry sour and lemon. It was garnished with a sour patch watermelon candy and that's exactly what it tasted like. I just had one drink and closed out and my bill came to $21 and I was like eeeeeek. I love the idea of this place, being sober myself and still someone who loves a bar and the social atmosphere I think this place is amazing and needed in every city but I wouldn't stay here and hang out because of the drink prices. I understand the price for an alcoholic drink, not for a spirit free cocktail. It's just not doable, for me. Don't let that deter you, check it out, very cool experience. I really like the growing NA trend, and even though I drink, it's great to have an alternative, safer-feeling, and more inclusive nightlife option. I came with a couple friends on a Sunday night, about a week ago. We all drink alcohol, but we've all been drinking less lately. The place was almost empty around 8pm, which we found concerning for its prospective longevity. We also thought the prices were pretty steep -- maybe I'm biased as someone who drinks alcohol, but if I'm getting a mocktail or other NA drink, I'd like to pay less than $15+ for it. Still, I ordered the Ave Maria and thought it was one of the best mocktails I've ever had. One of my friends got the Malibu (he liked it but did complain about the price), and I don't remember what my other friend got. We sat for a while and played Connect4 using the fanciest set I'd ever seen. Some more people came in, so it didn't feel nearly as empty by the time I left. I'd probably come back, but only if I was with someone who doesn't drink and/or really wanted to try this bar. I hope they make it!
