If you want a quick bite and not so hungry, 8-pieces is more than enough. The price is between $11.49 to $17.49 before tax. For an additional $1.49, you can have your sauce. The service is pretty quick since they have a few ready made. This is not a restaurant where you can enjoy your meal. You can pick up and find a table and chairs to sit down in the mall. Pretzels at Windward Mall in Kaneohe, Oahu, Hawaii... Somehow, I won an e-gift card from an Instagram contest. It was either a very generous amount or I'm just not a big eater! On my first visit, I got a parmesan cheese pretzel (fun food!), mini pretzels stuffed with mozzarella cheese (yum!), and a delicious pretzel dog. I had made an account on the Pretzelmaker app, so, they rewarded me $3 on my next purchase. I went back and got the mini pretzel dogs. Gosh! They were better than I expected! Not too salty and not too greasy! I think I can do without the sprinkled salt on the outside (note to self). I guess I'm lucky that Pretzelmaker is at Windward Mall in Kaneohe. There's free parking, cool air conditioning, and nice carpeting! This was such a pleasant experience! I still have a balance on the e-gift card and the app gave me another bonus of $5 off! Woot woot! There was a rude employee working. He was a short filipino, very young looking boy. I came by excited to eat pretzels but left upset. He was rude and snarky. He had an attitude with me. I came here to get a snack to munch on since I was hungry. I looked at the menu and they have combos that come with a drink. I got the mozzarella filled pieces of bread that comes with a sauce. I got the cheese sauce and got salt and butter on my mini bread pieces. They make them fresh so my mozzarella cheese bread pieces were hot. She served my diet coke with my meal. I didn't want to consume my drink right away. She asked if I wanted my drink now or when my order comes out. I told her when my order comes out. Ladies were pretty quick and only took around 5 minutes or so. The price was around $12 for the combo including tax. Not bad. I would definitely come back here to try different food items or combos. It took a while to order but that wasn't the fault of the staff members but of the customer in front of me, she had a hard time figuring out what to order so I was able to walk to a shop next door and come back to still wait behind her to order lol. I mention this because the cashier was very patient with her Got 16 pieces of their hot dog pretzels and they were tasty. I only got butter and salt on them but I believe they have multiple flavors, dipping sauces are an extra cost though they have ketchup and mustard packets for grabs at the front. I haven't been to this location since they were still downstairs in the mall. One of the downsides was it looks like their menu (and work area) shrunk down by a lot. Almost no space honestly! The other downside was there was a girl working the register (June 12 @ 12pm) who looked like she didn't wanna be there. She had black hair, glasses, and fake nails and I was waiting my turn to at least be called up to order since she was making pretzel bites for another customer. There was no "Hi how can I help you?" She just goes "What do you want?" So I immediately said "Oh you're ready now?" and gave her the same attitude and ordered which made her roll her eyes. She even yanked the cash out of my hands too that I almost did the same thing back as she handed me my change! Glad they came back to Windward mall. I have been chasing this joint ever since they closed their Pearlridge location. I would always go to Ala Moana, then that closed, Windward until they closed, and then Kahala mall. Aunt Annie's is just not the same!! They do not have Parmesan pretzel bites or any other flavor for that matter. I took off one star because, the location is too far for me living on the central side of the island, and the prices have sky rocketed, maybe rent is expensive. Tip: Please enforce a rewards program like a stamp card or Five Stars. I am a huge pretzel maker fan and hope they eventually make their way back to our side of the island.. As a former shift supervisor of Pretzelmaker I understand the pressure of serving handmade items to the general public and the need to perform consistently at work. So when I visit this place I just reminisce. Here are some things I've noticed thus far: 1) Staff is never friendly. I understand that customers can be rude, etc. but at least smile or greet me when I enter your storefront, at least say thank you after I finish ordering, c'mon. Basic customer service skills are lacking. 2) Cashier doesn't explain prices or extra add-on fees. I know that extra toppings are +$0.50. So read me back my order and explain that, cause paying $8 for a medium Pretzel Bites is a bit crazy to an unaware customer. 3) Warmer is never full. This means that there is always a gauranteed 5+ minute wait time for anything on the menu. No Pretzel Bites or Mini Pretzel Dogs ready-to-go. (PS The wait time can easily reach 20 minutes) Although Pretzelmaker still makes the best pretzel products (#truth) and is a good first time job for many high school or college students, I think that better training at this location is necessary to boost appeal and increase sales. I used to love the original Pretzel Maker when they were downstairs. This place kind of sucked in comparison. My husband got a regular pretzel and I got a large cup of bites for me and my son to share on the ride back to Ewa. On the trek back I cracked open the container and started eating them. The first few pretzel bites were good (the ones on the top). The rest SUCKED because there was no salt on them. NONE! You know, I don't like added salt to my food, but when I eat a soft pretzel I want at least a little salt! So apparently they just sprinkled some salt on the top pieces and said eff it to the rest. Lame. On the flip side, my husband's pretzel had TOO MUCH salt according to him. And he LOVES salt, he adds it to everything so for him to say that it was too much... Came to this location on Saturday, December 9, 2017 at 2:45PM. When I ordered the pretzels they said it's a 12 minutes wait so I said okay. A few minutes later he packs the pretzels and I see him looking around, then puts it away in the food warmer. So I went up to him and I asked him, "Oh is that mine?" And he said, "No yours is right here I have to make it." In a grouchy tone. I was so taken aback. I honestly thought he was looking for me so that's why I asked. I was heated by that point. I looked at the cashier and asked, "Is he always this grumpy?" So the kid answered back, "It's just my voice." I replied, "No it's your face too." Pretzelmaker is amazing for creating an app so that you can order online and then just go to the store and picking it up. I've been ordering from there so the app is like my best friend especially with deals and coupons. So my family loves getting the mozzarella stuffed bites and the mini pretzel dogs. Now for all the many months I've been ordering online when I place the order for the mozzarella stuffed bites it always came with butter and salt. Yesterday after picking up my order and arriving at home which is about a 40 minute drive I noticed no butter and salt and when I called they said that on the app under special instructions you're supposed to indicate you want it with salt and butter. I explained to them, how I've always ordered online and didn't need to put that in and I also said, "There's no instructions anywhere on the app" detailing if you want it this is what you need to state. So If you're ordering on the app make sure you write butter and salt. read more

This place has let me down on 3 different occasions in the last 2 weeks. I went there the other day and was unable to get any pretzel bites because the young girl at the counter said they were closed even though it was at least 30 minutes before the posted closing time. Then today I went in after work around 5pm and over heard the young lady at the counter say they were closing for 15 to 20 minutes without any explanation as to why this was happening. So I waited around for them to open back up and when they did I ordered a box of pretzel bites, half cinnamon, and half salted with garlic and when I opened the box at home it was not even half full. So I paid 20.99 for the box and got only half of what should have been in there. Then I returned to get another order around 6:28pm and was told they are closed. There's an advertisement on the counter for a large pretzel bite combo with a drink and 2 sauces included. Said I wanted that combo with a lemonade, lemonade costs extra, ok. Get our order and only get one sauce. I ask about the second sauce in the combo advertised and am told it only comes with one. So I ask the lady prepping the food about it, she says only comes with one. I point to the advertisement and ask why it says comes with 2 sauces? She has to come out and look at it and says that's a different combo and it costs more. Hello!?! I said that's what I want from the start. No stars!!!!... I stood here for 10 minutes before I was acknowledged. Two employees working, only one up front who is working slow. The couple in front of me ordered and are waiting for their order. Another lady who order before them is sitting at table waiting for hers. I am just waiting here to make my order. Not sure why the other employee can't come and help. If I could give you 0 stars I would. To the worker who was working today at 12:30 you need to work on your customer service. First off if you needed 10min to make a pretzel for you 1st customer you should have done right after you took his order and not have him wait for you. Second if your going to ask someone to wait do it politely not "come back in 10min" You were ringing up another customer than telling the 1st guy that you still need 10min to make his pretzel. When you said come back in 10min I responded with" cool its ok" and walk away. The only reason I come here is because my 5 year old loves the little dogs with cheese- if it weren't for him wanting to eat those, I would never come here. The service is terrible, not once (of the five times I've been here) have I experienced someone that was at least a little nice.
