When I walked in, it felt like I was interrupting a conversation and that she was irritated to do my eyebrows. She also didn't ask what I wanted or how and then did the job way too quickly. Then when it was done, she didn't even ask if I liked it she just said "done" and walked away. I've been going to this spot for a year and a half now and I haven't had a bad experience but this time I was going on vacation and I needed to get my eyebrows threaded the girl that usually does it wasn't there there was another lady that was there I believe her name was Anita and I made it very clear to her that not to thin out my brows and not change the shape just need a clean up and not thin. she fully changed my eyebrow shape one is arch and one is round now thanks to her bad skills. Why hire someone when they don't know how to do eyebrows. I'm highly disappointed now it'll take months for my eyebrows to grow out properly and not to mention this place isn't cheap they charge a lot. I need to look for a different spot. read more

This is an okay place if youve got easy eyebrows to clean up. As my eyebrows are a bit complicated because of how thick, black, long, and patchy they are it takes a bit more...experience/talent ? I dont know what it is but ive had other threaders in the past fix my eyebrows and make them look similar/symmetrical without me having to color them in. This lady threaded them and cut them down with scissors and messed them up and made them look worse than when she started because (im assuming) she doesnt have the experience with a bit more complicated eyebrows , and suggested i fix it with makeup. I wont be going back , but if youve got easy eyebrows , this place should be fine . read more

Wow - that is all I can say! My friend and I went here on a whim and we can both say without a doubt that this is the best threading experience of our lives. Nena gave us the combo treatment with excellent attention to detail, and she gave an extremely helpful assessment of our brow shape. She is also so nice! I get hair cut from Nice Hair Salon on Lake forest or Omar who is on Los Alisos, so this location is pretty close to get my eye brows done on the same trip. Last few times I had Suri ( I hope i remember to spell her name right), did my brows. and I mostly want clean up and lot of time people dont get that clean up also means bit of a shape but not much of it. Its a delicate balance and I think she knows what that means. My eye brows are nice and clean and beautiful! I get asked about my brows after my trip here a lot, which says a lot! When I first found this place about a year ago it was great! I was so happy every time I left, everyone was always so nice and did a great job. Unfortunately things changed the last time I was there last week. The lady who did my brows was so incredibly rough and so impatient. She kept readjusting my hands and kept telling me to pull my skin harder, every time I told her I was doing it as hard as I could & that my fingers were slipping off my skin with the amount of pressure and pulling I was doing, she would sigh super hard and somehow get an even heavier hand. I don't expect my threading session to be painless by any means but I definitely don't expect to pull my skin so hard either. Aside from the rude tone and aggressive threading, she completely ruined my brows. I asked her to please just clean them up and she made them so thin and gave me a new shape that i didn't ask for. I can ensure you that whether Nena or Suri take care of you, they both will ensure that your eyebrows are perfect when they're done. (They're so quick too!) They are genuine professionals, the shop is so clean, and the prices are so fair (you gain points every time you pay too!). At the store, I've bought their eyebrow kit, 2 lipglosses, and a lip-plumping lipgloss all which are from the owner's brand and are all vegan! (I use the eyebrow kit and the plumper religiously). Amazing! I'm middle eastern so I'm very cautious with where I do my eyebrows as usually salons end up making them look mediocre. I just moved from Toronto so being super paranoid about trying a new place I was in love with saaz! Her work is amazing, and she really allows your shape to change over time, she doesn't touch my eyebrows in areas where she wants to grow back to get my ideal shape. I love this threading salon. The girls there are always professional and do an amazing job shaping my eyebrows. They are quick and efficient and I am thankful to have found them. The best benefit is there is no discomfort. I am also obsessed with the makeup the owner has produced herself. The products are all cruelty free, vegan, and easy to use. After moving away from Mission Viejo, I cheated (gasp) on Pretty Threading and visited a few other threading places in west Los Angeles. It's a fact: no one compares to Pretty Threading. At all. The women who work there all so a fabulous job and really care about your eyebrows, and want you, as a customer, to be satisfied. They are very consultative about the process, are quick, and super efficient. Their threading hurts less than any other places I've been to - They track your eyebrow growth on the back of the loyalty card, and if you need 'major help' (like I did last month), they'll instruct you about what to let grow, etc. I purposely come into town to get my eyebrows sorted here! read more
