Nena was so sweet and helpful when doing my brows today. I have not had my brows done in years since moving back to Cali; I had a place I'd get them done regularly in another state, but couldn't find a similar threading place I liked once I moved back. My brows are definitely more like distant relatives rather than sisters... I think maybe my left brow was adopted, to be honest. Usually when I get them done they will shape my right brow perfect, then when they see my left one they hesitate because the shape isn't really it LOL. So when I go to new places I always ask them to take a look at my left brow first before shaping the right, because they aren't really even if I don't get them shaped regularly. Nena was able to point out the difference in my brows quickly and descriptively without me having to point it out. I never really knew myself why my brows were so wonky to work with, because they look kinda similar in my eyes, but she was able to point out the difference and make them look more even! She took her time and did not rush me at all. The chairs are comfortable and the vibe was relaxing. Overall, it was a pleasant experience. I paid $15 in cash not including tip. The price is steeper than I'm used to, but again I haven't gone in years and that was in another state. If you have an event you need to go to and need them brows snatched, wouldn't hurt to spend a little more to make sure they don't get messed up. If you have a certain look you want, wouldn't hurt to bring a photo of yourself with the groomed brows to show them how you like your brows so they can match what your vision is to reality. read more

Listen to the recent one star reviews below- they are very similar to my experience: This is my first and last time here. I wanted to try this place since I moved and it is closer than my go-to eyebrow place. I made a mistake. If you're particular about your brow thickness, do NOT go here. I told the eyebrow technician what I always share: "just a clean up and I like to keep my brow thickness". She was not gentle at all and the experience felt so rushed. Mind you, I was the only person there. To top it off, while she was working on me, she kept wanting to up-charge, asking if I wanted to do my chin or another area. I had to politely decline 3 times. Once it was all done, I was shocked to see how much hair she took off. You could clearly see a line patch of lighter skin from where she threaded. I told her it was much thinner than I'm used to and she responded with offense trying to explain that I had to grow the hair in months in order for her to change the shape. This is not what I asked for. Clearly, I do have to wait months for my eyebrows to grow back because she thinned it too much. This is a warning for others trying to see if this is an eyebrow place for you- save your time and go to someone you trust. It was too late for me. read more

I've never felt compelled to give a bad review to any business as I do today. I used to go all the time when they first opened and would ask for a woman that lived in the houses behind the shopping center. Then she left. Since then I've experienced a couple of awkward moments. I've tried to avoid this place as much as possible and will ONLY go if I'm desperate. The poor experiences I've had has always been with the younger girls. The most memorable experience was Xmas season a couple years back. I walked in and two young girls were arguing over who was gonna help me. One was setting up decorations and I assumed the other would help me, however, it wasn't until the girl decorating finally yelled "No!" that the other helped. I've had experienced similar to that over the years during my one off visits. Last year, there were two people working and one was already threading, the second at the counter pretending she didn't see me. The first woman talked to her and the second said something back and seemed irritated but then asked me if I was ready. I was ready to get my brows threaded but NOT to have my eyelids cut up. They literally stung. They had a new group of people that seemed pretty consistent and were doing pretty good but today was not the best example of that. The woman removed a good piece of my eyebrow. I didn't realize it before I left because I didn't have my glasses on. Then I tried to buy some earrings that were on display but they had no idea how to sell them to me without me paying cash, that I didn't have on hand. I work in customer service and honestly if I don't know something I call someone who does, these ladies made no effort to do so and simple rummaged through a drawer then said they had no way of selling me the earrings without cash. i WILL NOT be going back, nor will I recommend this place to anyone. read more

Nena is so kind and very helpful brow technician. She taught me that eyebrow tinting is for the eyebrow hair and not the skin. Brow pencil is for the skin. Learning something new every day. She is very precise with the thread and uses her time well. Very patient on explaining their 10- and 20-minute facial process. They prefer cash but do take credit card. One caveat: They will look over shoulder when you are paying and adding a tip on the payment screen. read more

This is my second time here getting my eyebrows threaded. Yesterday I had Saaz (pronounced Saj) WOW!! What an amazing job she did on my eyebrows and there was very little discomfort while she was threading and the redness went away immediately. I'm sooooo disappointed. I have been coming here for years and years and I regret to say I will never be coming back. I used to think my eyebrows were okay up until today. The last time I came to pretty threading a new girl did my eyebrows and when she showed me the final result they looked fine because she had colored them in with an eyebrow pencil. When I got home I was so upset to see she had taken off so much of my hair I had a huge gap in the middle mind you this was the day before my birthday. I had to grow them out for awhile before I could go get them fixed. I got them waxed today and the lady said my eyebrows should be double the thickness than they are right now. She said they have taken off so much hair and showed me all the hairs that are trying to grow back in. I did try to give them a chance to apologize by sending the owner a message but I never got a response. read more

Messed up my brows and threaded a chunk of my hair out from the front and took hair out i told her to leave alone. She also rushed on my brows and literally did them under 2 mins. I've been getting my brows threaded since age 16 so I know for a fact she rushed! They had no other customers waiting and weren't busy. She also cut the brow hair with scissors too short. So unhappy with their service. I'll never come back to this place. I'll be driving 30 + mins to my old eyebrow place I originally went to. Positive: easy walk in, I've never had to wait more than a few minutes to be seen. Eyebrows always look nice and not over threaded. Bright and clean studio. Negative: when checking out their POS system will ask for a tip ( that's fine) but they have it starting at 22 or 25%, can't recall which one. And the options only go up from there. Regardless, starting the tip options anything over 18% is quite presumptuous. I always tip on beauty services but over 20% on an eyebrow thread is crazy to me. Yes, I could probably try to find the manual input button but it's awkward when the person is basically watching the checkout screen. read more

Not sure who I saw today but she was excellent. Medium pain, not the gentlest threading experience I have had but all fine. I've had worse. The lady listened to my request and didn't go too thin in my eyebrows. I asked her to leave the shape alone and she did. She also gave me some pointers on how to fill in my eyebrows with a pencil. I will say - you need to be specific about the shape of your brows. After each threading session, an eyebrow is thinner than the other. Called to see if the had availability and the last over the phone told me to come right on in. I had a great experience. Nice, clean, place. The lady that did my full face threading was nice and took her time. Had me review my eyebrows and my face to make sure everything was good on my end. $45 for full face but you do not get points which was disappointing but if I just got my eyebrows done I would get points. They should change their point system bc if I spend less I will get points if I spend more I don't get points. Not fair to me. Or else I would've given 5 stars. I will be coming back here. Pretty Threading is very much hit or miss based on who you get. I've gotten my eyebrows done here many times, sometimes I left satisfied and other times the lady messed it up a bit. The last time I visited, I had the worst experience and left with completely mismatching eyebrows. When I told the lady that one is visibly thinner than the other, she ignored it and said it looks fine! It takes a while for eyebrows to grow back so this is quite frustrating. Won't be coming back and I advise others to avoid this place as well. read more
