a table with a variety of pastries

Went here to order breakfast for 45 of my associates. The manager Shaun helped me put an assortment of breakfast sandwiches and healthy snacks together for them. It was a last minute thing and the delivery person was a bit late but it turned out well. Pret is always looks immaculate and clean when I go inside any location and the food is always gourmet.

There were not a lot of hot items on the shelves. Stick with the salads and cold sandwiches there were more stacked in that area. Felt more like a grab and go place now. Seating area practically empty. Guys were cleaning the tables while I was in line paying for one of the hot wraps and a soda. Wondering how long they were sitting in the heating unit? Always like to get a couple home to the kids. Got a nice view seated by the window. Streets are pretty quiet and empty these days. Lots of construction and development down here. Neighborhood has dramatically and drastically changed here since COVID. Most of the customers are basically tourist and those who still work in the vicinity. Came back the following month like 1:30 PM and there was only one hot wrapped item. Do not know if they put much hot foods out. Stick with the cold items- Salads, Cold sandwiches for the shelved were well stocked.

Tomato Feta Soup yum

It's been a very long time since paying Pret a visit. Had to come to this location because the one closer to me is closed. I went during the late afternoon when most lunch items are scarce but did find a soup I love, the tomato with feta & was glad to be reacquainted with it. It's so creamy & tastes delicious, not bitter or acidic like other tomato soups I've tried. The space is well maintained and clean. Hygiene was always important but more so now during pandemic era. Will return during earlier hours to try their breakfast items & other lunch items too.

Ok food for a chain, nothing special or worth to revisit. They do have green tea using loose leaves rather than typical tea bags.

The line is pure chaos and my "fresh" sandwich was frozen solid. Go somewhere else and save yourself the disappointment.

The only bad thing about this place is they ONLY accept CASH! Other than that, everything else is…read morepretty good with their panini sandwiches that are extremely big! Today, I got a PISILLO panini with ciabatta bread and it was so damn big! I had half of it for lunch and the other half will be saved for my dinner! This panini was just too long and big. I had to open my mouth really wide to take bites out of the big panini and it was annoying. It tasted good though! I love the balsamic dressing, arugula, tomatoes, and bufula mozz cheese the most out of the whole sandwich! The dressing made it really good and soften the ciabatta bread for easier chewing. My poor mouth and teeth! The whole panini cost $22.21 including tax in cash. There was an atm machine by the entrance in case you don't have cash. The whole place was very cozy and tight knit chairs and tables on both sides of the restaurant. The staff was very fast and I got my panini in not time. I did not have to wait that long. I was just amazed at the size of the ciabatta bread. They had many different types of bread that I can try next time like the focaccia, sfilatino, and semolina bread that looked really good behind the display glass. They got 35 different types of panini sandwiches for you to choose from. Most of them contain meat and there are some vegetarian options that are not so pricey. I will try those next time!

Came by Pisillos since I was craving a sandwich while in NY!…read more What a HUGE portion!!! The service was also amazing. The workers were so friendly and chatted with us to help us pick the perfect options for us. 2 sandwiches lasted me and my husband multiple meals. The sandwich ingredients seemed really fresh! Didn't blow me away, but overall a good sandwich and a good experience!

Sunny and Annie's - Biden Sandwich on a hero

Sunny and Annie's

((4.5 stars)) Sunny…read moreand Annie's is very much a 24/7 neighborhood gem of a corner store and deli. it's packed with packaged foods--candy, chips, cookies, ice cream, soft drinks, beer, and a lot more plus the deli counter serves ups an endless list of creative sandwiches. i am not going to say this place is cramped but it kinda is. for example, if people stand in the wrong areas of the store, it will cause a complete standstill of a traffic jam in the store. my advice: order from the deli (and stand somewhere people aren't trying to get to) or grab whatever you need, pay, and leave. this place is not a place to linger. keep it moving. anyway, the obvious draw of Sunny & Annie's is the endless list of sandwiches that are handwritten cards that are stuck outside glass of the deli counter. there is literally something for the pickiest eaters--from hot sandwiches, cold sandwiches, wraps, and more. some sandwiches are named celebrities, politicians, etc. i have ordered a bunch of different sandwiches and have not made it through much of the menu. you can also create your own Frankenstein monster of a sandwich. while the sandwiches are a big part of the draw, the insane amount of snack foods crammed into the store is quite remarkable from the large stand of Doritos, Takis, Cheetos and other popular branded snack foods in the front to the separate stand of Wise snacks to an entire back corner of the store filled with all kinds of chips, popcorn, etc. imo, Sunny's has the freshest-tasting Smartfood Cheddar Popcorn. i know an insane take consider it's a packaged popcorn snack from a megacorp (PepsiCo), but i'll die on this hill. maybe it's cause Sunny's sells a lot of Smartfood popcorn so it gets refreshed often, maybe they have a secret in/pipelinbe from the factory, or it's just magic/alchemy. i don't know, but the Smartfood Cheddar Popcorn never tastes stale-ish like it does at grocery stores, the bags never feel deflated because they have been on shelf long, and the popcorn never has that soft mouthy feel but still has the crunch to it. maybe it's just me, but Sunny's serves a great list of sandwiches...AND the freshest Smartfood Cheddar Popcorn. beyond the snacks, the service from the deli to cashier is upbeat and friendly. in all seriousness, Sunny and Annie's is an Avenue B institution at this point and remains a charming family-owned store--and is NOT a sterile modern clone of a neighborhood business.

Ended up with the Jackie Chan which was bulgogi which was marinated well, cilantro, avocado, lettuce, jalapeños and onions. Just an explosion of flavors. Can get on a roll or hero. Sandwich was made quickly and no line when I went. There's pictures of celebrities who have visited the deli. Prices are high for a sandwich, but it's some place that I have been wanting to try.
