We chose to support Preston because they seemed to be a great company that supported the kids at the local county fair by buying their market projects. Due to predatory business practices we will no longer be returning to Preston. On two separate occasions I brought a vehicle to Preston Ford for service. The first occasion was in January 2023 for a bad body control module on a 2016 Ford F350. I had called around for pricing and found that the Ford MSRP was $347 and the part was on backorder. One of the dealerships I had inquired at told me that Preston had the part in stock. I called their parts department and they did confirm the price at $347, but the part they had in stock was for another customer and they couldn't sell it. The parts person said they could order me one. So I made an appointment with service to bring the truck in. They diagnosed it immediately and called me. They told me that they contacted the other customer and he no longer needed the part and they could do my job. The service writer quoted me just over $700 + tax for the part. I immediately questioned it and told him about the conversation with his parts person just the day prior. They did end up honoring the MSRP price, but if I hadn't done research prior I would have been charged way more. The second occasion was in October 2023 for a keyless entry keypad on a 2017 Ford Explorer. I took the vehicle in and again they diagnosed the issue quickly and called with an estimate of $700 to replace the keypad. He also stated that they would take care of a couple recalls that were outstanding. My wife had inquired why $700 and the service writer told her that the part was $400 by itself. I looked the part up and Ford MSRP is $276.80. Again, this item is on backorder. When I asked the service writer why such a huge markup on the item, he stated that that's what it cost. I told him that I called other dealerships and they all quoted MSRP or less. I told him that this was the second time this happened with this service department and I felt that they had predatory business practices. It was at that point he became defensive and said that they can charge what they want. I told him that I was going to make a complaint to Ford. He responded with, Ford doesn't own us, we can charge what we want. The snide attitude when confronted did it in for me. We will not be recommending Preston any longer to anyone. We will make sure to let everyone know to be aware if you choose to visit this establishment. read more

Amazing dealership. After a recent terrible new car buying experience at Haasz I was thinking back to my Tahoe purchase here, and realized I never left a review. I busted the sales guy pretty hard, I'm definitely not a lay down, I think by the end of it they didn't think I would jump the curb, and they may have wanted to put my face on it, but I did. I have been really impressed by the people who reached out to us when we had a minor issue with the vehicle. Employees all the way up to the store owner checked to make sure we were happy. We've been incredibly satisfied with our purchase for almost a year now. Service department fixed an issue I had twice for no charge, but could've charged. I can't remember the sales guys name I'm sure he gets a bonus if I drop it, he looked like he plays a lot of golf and would gladly accept a six pack for this review. To be honest, at first my interaction with Preston was less than stellar. There were a few bumps and I got upset and I posted a review online. The owner of Preston himself, Pat Preston, reached out to me after I posted the review and personal made sure that I was taken care of. I was working on getting out of a lease early and purchasing another vehicle. Even though I couldn't purchase the vehicle I wanted from Preston because it sold, Pat worked with me every step of the way to help me get out of the lease early with as little debt as possible. I think that when the owner of a company cares enough about the experiences his customers have when they come in that he is willing to personal reach out and resolve any issues to make sure even if it wasn't a good experience that it can be turned into a good experience, it says a lot about the company. I would definitely recommend Preston and would do business with them in the future. They have great customer service and went above and beyond to make sure that my problems were resolved. The worst customer service and car buying experience EVER ive bought 2 cars from this company in the last 3 months (brand new)My wife a 2012 Chevy equinox LS 24.000$ and a 2012 Chevy Avalanche LTZ 54,000$ for myself,ive had to put my vehicle in the shop 3 times and i haven't had it 2 months. i had a problem with the paint (there were parts on my vehicle that had paint missing,and paint was running all over my brake light),a problem with the passenger side door,(it wasn't alined with the other doors,and the door didn't close all the way,and water was getting in the vehicle) the driver side,side mirror.(didn't function properly and had to be replaced) and now the transmission. (when i come to a stop,my RPM Gage raises,like the gas is being applied) I had the service manger take it for a test drive and when he came to a stop,the car excelled and he replied "ut oh, its not supposed to do that" not only do they not know what the problem is,or how to fix it, they keep telling me "its a small problem" you're making a big deal out of this" "that's what the warranty is for to fix problems" i asked if its a small thing why isn't it fixed? or why don't you know what the problem is? i don't think i should need to use the warranty less than 8 weeks after ive bought this truck. i forgot to mention,out of the 7 and a half weeks ive owned it,its been in the shop a total of 3 weeks.I contacted the Owner Pat Preston who was supposed to meet me at 1 o'clock the day after we spoke, i waited until 1;20,couldn't wait any longer had to be at work and this problem goes unresolved ive just paid my second car note on a car that ive rarely drove. and to add insult to injury they have given me a loaner car a 2008 Honda CRV. not even in the same class and comfort of the vehicle that i perched .
