Love my new Buick Enclave Avenir from Lambert GMC BUICK in Cuyahoga Falls. However, the finance department is troubling. A week after the deal, my trade in still hadn't been paid off. It was showing late on the GM website. The finance guy at Lambert said they needed to get funded for the $18,000 payoff. Huh? It takes a week for a multi million dollar company to get 18,000?They had no trouble getting me credit in 5 minutes for $45,000 and cashing my check for $5,000 and it cleared electronically the next day. WTF Not done yet. I was told my loan was through GM just like the last one. He did tell me he got me a better rate but I thought it was from my credit score being high. Oh no,, it was through a bank I never heard of. I just found that out today by mail. Again, WTF? Thought I asked all the right questions. Only the salesman has called me back but what can he do? I Was told I need tires replaced for a noise in the front end. Replaced the tires the noise did not change. Asked to repair a oil leak under the engine and trans they said they could not find it and it was minor anyway. Took it to another Dealer they found the noise was a bearing and they replaced the engine oil pan gasket and a trans-axle seal. I don't understand why they were not able to find and complete these repairs as a major Dealership? read more

Bought a used car that I had to wait to see it because it had to go through service. Dealer called said car was ready to see and they raised the price $500. I would think if the car went through service before selling it would have had the oil changed, the steering checked since the steering wheel is not straight, the oil was at 30 %. I never leave bad reviews but this one needs to be heard. Saw a car I was interested in test driving. Made an appointment to come in and test drive and was given Jesse as my dealer. The weekend was a long holiday weekend and my appointment was for the next open day as early as possible. Made arrangements and drove 45 minutes to test drive the car. When I got there Jesse informed me that they sold the car and then tried to offer me financing or looking at other cars. No Jesse, I don't need your help with financing. What I needed was to test drive a car that you knew you already sold. Nice try getting me to you lot and sell me something else. Great prices on cars we bought from the "discount lot" 3000 below list. It is a venza and it needed brakes. We asked if they would do the brakes in their service center. Extra charge was fine since it's a discounted car. They told us they don't service Toyota, ok seems like a silly business decision but ok. Two weeks after we get two calls in three days from the lambert service center telling us they have a sale on alignments brakes and oil changes and would we like to schedule our venza for service and inspection!?! We already changed the brakes. I would still buy there and the service snafu is the only reason they are not getting four stars. Bought a used vehicle and not cheap either. Would not come down 1500 so I could put new tires on. Asked if they would please detail the vehicle before pick up. That didn't happen either. Also couldn't be bothered to fill the vehicle up with gas. All in all someone traded their truck in and I bought it. Lambert did absolutely nothing except get a loan. Just buy from private. I bought a used car from here in November, first of all when we went to pick the car up, the shield underneath the car partially fell off while driving on the highway, then we took it back and they "fixed it" for the shield to then completely fall off in the middle of the highway. When we took the car back, they tried to low-ball us on the price of the fix, and then when we asked that the bill for the product be sent to them they completely denied. They still lowballed us on the price of the product itself, not to mention the labor. My car has been going through oil like crazy, just to find out that 4 months after buying it my timing chain gasket is leaking oil like crazy and BOTH of my front axel boots are almost completely torn off. These are issues which don't develop in 4 months, and it is intensely frustrating that the salesperson would be okay with letting a car in such poor mechanical condition drive off of the lot. I would not recommend anybody to buy a used car from here, it is evident that either their inspection on the car was careless or they simply did not disclose issues with the car when we purchased it, which is a whole different issue alone. Additionally, I got my car which was littered with dirt and left over things from the previous owner, and the gas gauge below half full. read more

We bought a used car from them over the summer- now granted it was used and you buy as is-BUT we found out the car had 2 major recalls that we were never told about and they were not taken care of. Now when we purchased the car they told us "Oh yea it has been through our inspection and passed and there are no issue" when we ask to see the report they could not produce this. With the major recalls-resulted in a crash that could of killed my daughter. We knew exactly what we wanted and the reasonable price that we wanted to lease it for. John was courteous, direct, and didn't waste my time trying to up-sale me anything. We found the car around 2pm online, spoke to a salesman and drove an hour to the dealership, they had the car washed and pulled up before we arrived, looked at the car , finished up paperwork, had an IT guy go over everything in the car all within a couple of hours with no hassels & a smile. They don't actually do inspections for used cars before they sell them, or if they do they don'tprovide the inspection report, at least not when they have somethingto hide. They don't keep records for work and inspections they have done elsewhere, or more likely they lie and say they don't because they have something to hide. read more

I bought a 2017 Buick Enclave in February 2018. They said I had the full bumper to bumper warranty. I found a cut in the dashboard leather when I wen to clean the inside of the window. You couldn't see it sitting in the drivers seat. They won't replace the dash , even when I asked if they would just pay half. They also said the bumper to bumper only included the trim the first year. The Buick book doesn't say that. Plus, when I went to Buick, I got no satisfaction and the dealer wouldn't call Buick to discuss for weeks at a time. Poor service, no care for safety (What cut the dash? Is the airbag underneath OK?) My son and his wife bought a Chevy from these people and it has a known flaw that causes decreased power to the motor. This causes the car to slow to 20mph. The sale person knew that the car was being bought for the wife and the new baby.This happened on the highway to my daughter in law and their baby. Let's start this off by saying the salesman that I dealt with was very nice. We drove from another state to buy a vehicle from them. They drove it and sent videos saying how the vehicle was fine and that everything worked. We got down there to pick it up and the vehicle wasn't even clean and smelled very bad. The rear window wouldn't work and when we took it down the road the rearend was wagging, after further inspection we noticed that one of the struts in the rear was completely collapsed and the boot was hanging off. Never again. Find another GMC Dealership. After my wife brought in our GMC Acadia for a blind side detector issue, I decided to have an oil change and tire rotation as well. Nothing else was noted in their inspection, particularly the brakes were noted as ok. When we got the unit back, the blind side detectors were still not working and the brakes were making a horrible grinding noise. They came and picked up the vehicle and long story short, over $500 for brakes and now a rear detector was installed that doesn't even match the color of my car. When I called and complained they told me they wouldn't do anything for my situation. I told them they have lost me as a customer. I will never take my vehicles back for service and never buy another vehicle from them. I thought everything was done, but what really makes me even madder, the service manager Josh, who I had talked with, has the nerve to send us a Thank you card. Are you kidding me? I only wish I could send him a You're Not Welcome card back. If Lambert GMC/Buick reads this, remove me from any further mailings. You're wasting your money! read more

I walked in to buy a 22k vehicle with a loan liner & cashiers check in my hand. The online sales clown says they don't take out of state checks. The reality, they SELL Wells Fargo loans at 2.89% instead of the 1.49% I walked in the door with. I wonder why I bought the second one less than 6 months later at #1 Cochran's dealership. Why did I wait 6 months to complain? Because your dealership performed a hard inquiry on my Credit Report before your bank did & after you let me contact my own. That makes 3 hard inquiries for the same car. With a score of over 800 it doesn't matter, but you never asked & it really wasn't your business even. read more

I never was able to get an answer after many requests, of which I kept in a file. I called several months ago asking what was included on the 2,165.00 Service contract appearing on my original purchase paperwork, and was promised a call back. Recently I remembered I had not gotten a reply and I called again with the same request. To date I still have NOT gotten a reply. Purchased an Acadia that was part of the fuel economy recall. GMC ordered a stop sale on all Acadias until the dealership replaced the window sticker with the correct mileage. Since I purchased my vehicle 2 weeks after the dealerships were ordered to have done this, GMC wouldn't do anything for me and told me to take it up with Lambert. When I called and spoke with the Sales Manager, he laughed at me and told me there was nothing he would do for me. I spend $50K with them and they wouldn't give me anything as simple as an apology; nothing. They just blatantly just do not care about customer service. I purchased a 90% part from Lambert which was never used. Upon asking for a refund was told that they wouldnt return it and to try and sell it on Ebay. Not very professional or courteous if you ask me. Seems pretty bad that they wont return something brand new and unopened purchased from them.
