I have used Cascade over the years to service my S5 Convertible and have had many positive experiences. However, recently I paid nearly $2,000 for a repair of my convertible roof. Unfortunately the repair failed the first or second time I raised and lowered the roof. Since that time I have made numerous attempt to speak to someone about the failed repair and have not received a single phone call or written response to the e-mail I sent to multiple Cascade Management contacts. I did receive a text promising someone would call me back, including a text on Sept 14th promising me that the Service Manager would call. That call was never made or received. I also left multiple voice mails with various Cascade personnel, all of which were also ignored. I am left to conclude that this is a company lacking integrity, devoid of professionalism and an absence of basic common decency! If you are considering utilizing Cascade for ANY complex repair, I feel compelled to quote the Latin phrase "Caveat Emptor" which translates to "Let the buyer beware!" read more

We drove through the National Park and Abe answered all of my questions about the Subaru car. Bruce was the most rude service advisor I ever have dealt with. The issue they fixed wasn't fixed. They refused to consider the issue was not resolved or the part was defective. They also told me that they aligned my car but the steering wheel was canted worse than before. I was told this was the best they could do. I had since brought my car to Bedford Audi and guess what. I was looking for a new Crosstrek in a specific color because my lease on my Honda was going to be up. I contacted 2 other dealers with what I was looking for, but no real follow through. On the recommendation of my daughter in law I stopped at Cascade and met Matt H. He took time to get to know me and what I was looking for. He later spoke with my husband and few days later he was ready to search for my car! He was realistic that it may take longer because of the color and package I wanted. I test drove a Subaru Forester here in late September/early October and returned in December to buy a Forester because of the great experience. Mike C. was fantastic to work with and I can't recommend him enough as he was the primary reason I returned to Cascade to move forward with the purchase. I have never ever in my life owned a new car or purchased a car from a dealer. I was super nervous about this purchase and did a lot of research about vehicles I was interested in. I had a visit at another dealership to test drive a different manufacturer's vehicle to compare this experience to and both myself and my husband were very impressed with the difference in working with Mike C. as the salesperson at Cascade. Our first test drive he accompanied us as we drove the SUV around including a lovely trip through the Cuyahoga Valley, and he demonstrated many of the safety features and educated us thoroughly about the car. After the test drive he sat down with us and gave us some preliminary ideas about cost which lined up with prices I'd discovered during my research about the vehicle's going MSRP and such. A few months passed as I mulled over new vs. used and what car I wanted. Ultimately the great feel of the Forester, its top safety rating and reviews from Consumer reports, and the superb test-drive and no pressure conversation with Mike led me to call them up and move forward with the purchase. I called to make sure Mike was available and did another test-drive. Then we started the negotiation process and - armed with another dealer's out the door offer for the vehicle and the fact that it was quarter end - I was able to negotiate the price down to a VERY reasonable offer according to both TrueCar, KBB, and CoPilot for the particular trim and extra features (and in a color preference as well.) While the vehicle was not in stock yet (in transit as seems to happen frequently with these fast-moving cars) it arrived a couple days later and I worked with Mike to finalize the paperwork other than the financial agreement stuff. He helped me get the app set up so I can remote start my car and adjust the temperature and he also called up my insurance company to help get those details squared-away. Another employee, Peter, gave me a very thorough overview of the many features in the car so I would be comfortable driving it and the financial process was made very easy for me as well. I would recommend Cascade - and in particular the Subaru dealership and Mike C. to anyone interested in purchasing a vehicle. After that i ordered MY $800.00 OF PARTS FROM MIDDLEBURG AUDI AND THEY ANSWERED THE FIRST TIME, AND DELIVERED WITHIN THE HOUR. So you know were I'm buying all my AUDI PARTS ! I also asked to speak to the general manager early that morning & was told he comes in at 9:00. I called @ 2:00 and found that he was actually on vacation. WHO IS IN CHARGE NOW? The first time I was there for an oil change, it was a strong downpour, so I was told that a complementary car wash was included in the oil change, however with the rain I decided against the car wash. The second oil change, they told me that the person I had requested to do the oil change was not in. I said that the person that set up the appointment had made sure that I was scheduled on a day that employee would be there and that is who would be doing my oil change. Again, no they aren't in! Another person at another desk said yes they are here today. Awesome! My oil change was done by the person I had requested and I was very pleased. When I was taken to my car, it was a bright and warm day, and a bird had made a mess on my car, it was still there. I asked the person handling my appointment, looked at me and said, oh do you want it washed? I'm not sure if they can do that. So he didn't even attempt to find out. There is some damage to my tailgate because it opened automatically one day as I was backing out of my garage. I pointed this out to the young man and asked who I needed to speak to about getting an estimate on that being repaired. He looked at me with no interest at all in finding that out and was acting put out that I had even asked him. He made a face and acted like I had asked too much of him. So I said would that be ok, or is it a problem? His answer was well yea, it would be a problem, because he'd have to look up part numbers and stuff, and yes that would be a hassle. So, that ended the conversation, he smiled and walked away, and I left. So, you tell me, should I recommend to someone else to go there for an oil change, yes I would. I would also caution them , should they have the same service person, and have a question, I would have to say ask for someone else. Thrilled with the oil change, dissatisfied with the young man who wrote up my order from start to finish, he was unwilling to do his job well or ask someone else for their input about my questions. read more

We were on a trip from Rhode Island to Indiana when we hit an obstruction in the road and damaged both right side tires and wheels. We were towed to Cascade Mazda for repairs. The dealer did not have the parts necessary for the repair at the time and we were in a rush to get to indiana as there was a medical emergency with a family member. As we didn't have the time to wait, we asked about trading our 2020 CX5 for a new vehicle. We chose a 2023 CX30 premium. The dealer was able to process the paperwork and we were back on the road in 2 1/2 hours, which was totally unexpected. We are extremely grateful to all the employees, especially Jason DeMoss for the attention to detail and expedited service that we received. I've had 4 progressively disappointing experiences here. It's my fault I guess that I continue to try and support them as a business local to my home. After speaking to one of the owners recently following up from a poor experience it's obvious where the lack of customer service gets its inspiration... March 2012 - brought a quote from another dealer to the salesman I was working with, he said he'll need to talk to his manager to see if they could match it. His manager was busy but he said he'll call me before the end of that day...never got a call back. Leased from Brunswick. August 2012 - went for an oil change with the car I leased from Brunswick, they used conventional oil when the owner's manual said full synthetic was recommended. After discussing this and even siting what multiple sales people told me their service advisor and their tech said 'well that's only recommended...'. Asked them to redo it, no discount, no apology, not return to their obviously incompetent service department. March 2015 - lease on the 2012 was coming due, wanted to give them another shot. Brought a competitive quote to them and was told 'that's too low, they won't really do that price for you'. Went back to Brunswick and leased again at those numbers. March 2018 - giving them one more chance...2015 lease is coming due. Offered to wait to get my lease buyout price, sales manager Dave came out said it might take a few minutes, they're busy...game back 10 mins later saying 'Subaru's system is down, I can't get your number tonight, I'll have someone call you tomorrow'. Called Bedford Subaru and they had the number for my by the time I pulled in (about a 20-25 minute drive). Relayed this experience to Pat Primm - incredibly unprofessional experience. Done giving them chances. If you care about service or price there are significantly better options locally. read more

When we purchased our car, it was delivered to us filthy and with door dings already. Buying my wife's first new car should have been a special day. Instead, we were made to feel like an inconvenience. That attitude has continued through to service, where we have been treated, at every step, like our presence - and the presence of our car - was some sort of unwelcome interruption from their daily routine. Most recently, they failed to correctly balance a set of tires, despite the fact that we waited for four and a half hours even after we called and scheduled ahead. Now we have to rescedule a day trip so that we don't chew up a new set of rubber. We've personally steered several friends and family members away from purchasing cars at Cascade, but for us, personally, this is the last straw. After they re-balance our tires, we will buy and service our Mazdas elsewhere. Mazda, as a brand, makes a terrific product, and they aim to move upmarket. If they hope to be successful, they need to get rid of dealers like Cascade that serve only to sully their good name and destroy customer goodwill. I'm sure that one of their social media lackeys will respond to this post with some sort of half-hearted apology, but it's too little, too late. read more

I typically dread coming in to get my car fixed, since it's a lot of money, time and judgement. However, Don was wonderful about explaining what needed to be done and took the time to treat me like a person and not just a number in line. There was no high pressure sales tactic, just a thoughtful conversation and recommendation - and definitely not to get every single small fix - so it was much appreciated and hands down my best experience at a dealership. They gave me a loaner and fixed up my car before the day was over and made sure to follow up a couple of times when I couldn't be reached. I first had declined their free car wash due to time, but Don thoughtfully reminded me when I changed my plans to get the loaner, just as an example of my positive impression. I am absolutely terrified of car-shopping & had long been dreading the experience. I went car-shopping with my uncle, a Mazda enthusiast & self-proclaimed "car guy," who did some Internet research ahead of time to find a couple of cars at Cascade. I found a certified, pre-owned 2011 Mazda 6 that I loved, signed some papers to put a hold on it, & returned a few days later to make it official. Tony, our salesman, & Jeannie, who did all the financing, were both friendly, knowledgeable, & helpful, & they were easy to contact in the days in between by both phone & email, which I appreciated. I'd been nervous about the reputation of used car salesmen, sure I'd feel pressured into buying something I didn't love & then squeezed into ZYX warranties I didn't need, but everyone we encountered at Cascade was low-key, professional, & low-stress. More importantly, I felt like they were honest & that the dealership was reputable on the whole. I originally docked a star because one of my hubcaps fell off not even 15 miles into my driving the car. I didn't notice when it happened (I've NEVER had a hubcap fall off!), so less than 48 hours into owning my new car, it looks mortifyingly ghetto. I emailed Cascade hoping they'd cop to not having done a great job of attaching the hubcap in the first place; I'd been driving like a nervous old lady, so it's not like I was flying over potholes or crazy enough to have detached a welll-attached hubcap. I know the car is my responsibility to pay for/maintain once I drive it off the lot, but this seemed like a clear case of the dealership having messed up, & I was hopeful that they'd replace the hubcap for free - but nope. Gotta pony up for a new one immediately after buying the car. That said, when I expressed my disappointment to Tony, he said he would see what he could do & that he agreed that I shouldn't have to replace it myself. I had already bought a new one by the time I got his email, but I really, really appreciated the sentiment. They also only gave me one set of keys, & when I emailed to ask about a spare, I was told they can't find it & will keep an eye out & make me a new one if they can't find it within a week. Not a big deal, though I do hope to have the spare soon. Overall, it was a good buying experience, & I love my new car. The hubcap incident originally left a pretty bad taste in my mouth, making me feel like my Mazda could fall apart at any minute, but my fingers are crossed that this was just a fluke. I'd still recommend Cascade highly to anyone in the Akron area who's looking for a new or certified pre-owned car. read more

I've been a long time friend of some people at this dealership, long before I made my first purchase. I recently made my first purchase (Audi S4), and they were great! Pat was my dealer, and he got me a good deal on the car, and helped me through the process of custom ordering it. When it arrived 3 months later, they did a great job of preparing it, and getting it in my hands. They went through every knob and button to explain how it works, which really helps in a car like this with a lot of complicated functions hidden everywhere. Beware the internet sales side of this dealership. Pretty sleazy. I was looking at a 2016 hybrid car that included significant Fed tax incentives. This dealership deducts that from their sale price but make no mention of it. I spent two days negotiating with the internet sales guy until he finally mentioned that the rebate is factored into their price. NO OTHER DEALER does this.
