Pros: Haven't lost any items due to damage, quick drop-off/pick-up, prices are fine by me (coupons or deals on their website) Con: Alteration lady was injured and not sure when she'll be back or if they'll get a replacement. (not a big deal) Just to fill those in who are scoping other reviews: My experience deals either of 2 girls to receive/give my items to me. A very quick in-n-out stop. I only dry clean long sleeve button-ups and slacks. I have no problem with customer service because there's no chance to come across any. My experience involves having a girl take my clothes/print ticket/payment within 2 mins, and my pick-up experience is similar. Used to live in the area and have been taking my dry cleaning here for years, and now that I've moved to Pasadena, I still come here. I recently moved to the Glendale area a few months ago and was looking for a good dry cleaner. So, like I do for everything in a new city, I came to Yelp for guidance. My experience with Presto Cleaners was a disaster. I took my king size comforter to them to be cleaned. I was told it would be 5 days, okay no problem. So, on day 5, I go to pickup the comforter. To my dismay, the comforter is balled up, lying in a clothes basket in the back and had never been sent to be cleaned. I was very frustrated, especially since I had been using a thin throw blanket for a week that wasn't doing the job at all. They apologized and said that they would have it to me in 2 days and would knock off 25%. Well, I go pickup the comforter and everything appeared normal until I got home. All of the inner filling of the comforter was displaced and the comforter is essentially ruined. The comforter was only 2 months old at the time I took it to them. I will never use this place again. ***** UPDATE ***** I was contacted by a representative from Presto Cleaners about my bad experience on Friday 9/13. They offered to reimburse me for the loss of my comforter and gave me a credit to use in the future. This was the right thing to do and I applaud them for it. I believe that everyone deserves a second chance and I may be willing to try them again. Thanks Presto Cleaners for doing the right thing. read more

Dropped off 2 items to be tailored/altered on a Friday, and was told they would be ready the following Tuesday. ...Tuesday I come in to pick up my altered items only to find out they HAVEN'T BEEN STARTED ON because the tailor broke her leg on SATURDAY, and was in the hospital. No calls were made to inform me that nothing was being done. Come on people.. You had an entire weekend and Monday to let your customers know. Someone could be having a major event coming up and be unwittingly screwed over! Obviously, the employees here are: A.) Careless B.) Lazy C.) Inconsiderate Take your items here with hesitation. I gave Presto a shot after receiving a coupon in the trusty Val-Pak mailing. Then after becoming a customer, they send you more coupons. I appreciate coupons. But lets get to the service and the cleaning; no one needs a recommendation of coupons. The places always has a buzz, which is good - they can handle volume. I personally have never had a problem with them cleaning any of my items. Everything is cleaned the way I want it and returned in a neat and orderly fashion. I dropped off 2 blouses ($8) and they gave me 25% for being a new customer (you can also get 25% off if you print the coupon on their website). The lady was super friendly and my items were ready in 2-3 days. They did a good job and were able to take out some minor stains. I'll most likely be back. Prices are a little higher than my favorite place in Pasadena but still fairly reasonable with the coupon. Presto has a private lot so parking is always a cinch. read more

I've been taking my clothes here for years, and because I spend over $100 a month, they give me a volume discount. Well, that volume discount obviously slipped between the cracks this year, as a new (old, curmudgeon man) went through my account and showed me that I've been paying full fees all year (even though the typical front desk girls have REPEADEDLY assured me that the discount is reflected on the receipt). He was rude, mean and unaccommodating. He told me that the regular girls would be there the next day, and they werent. I came 4 days in a row and it was just him. I finally picked up my clothes and I've spent over $1000 this year (January through September). I'm now going to use New Door Cleaners on Ocean View - MUCH better rated and CHEAPER. I've been taking my dry-cleaning exclusively to Presto for years now and have always been treated right. The location is clean and efficient, I'm usually in and out in less than 5 minutes. Not much of a coffee or espresso drinker to take advantage of their machine, but that's the kind of attention most other local businesses forget is important to their image, if for no other reason. Clothes: I don't wear any delicate couture clothing or $10,000 saville row suits, but have some items I am extremely fond of. They've always taken care of everything I've given them and their upfront honesty on their ability to work with some stains is appreciated. Overall, I can't think of any reason to not give Presto 5 stars and will continue giving them my business for years to come. read more

My husband and I have been going to Presto regularly for about a year. They do good work and we've never had a rpblem with their services. Sometimes it can take a day or so more than I'd like or expect for laundry service for my husband shirts, but I think this is probably because I tend to procrastinate and bring in dozens at a time. This place is an absolute disaster. I dropped my clothes off for a dry cleaning about two weeks ago. They returned one of the clothing's and it was damaged. They said they would fix it. Now its been almost two weeks since I've seen my clothes. Every time I call them to check for an update the receptionist hangs up the phone on me. I am sure that they have taken them by now because now they refuse to talk to me. This place is an absolute disaster. They are the worst in area. Every time I mention to hang all my clothes on hanger but they just fold them and put it on the pants part of hanger. Ironing Sucks. All hangers are so thin, so when they put your shirt on it, it makes a really bad line on top of the shoulder part of the shirt. Never ever go there again. read more
