Tiffany's Tailoring & Cleaning - Dress alterations - Sewing & Alterations Near Me - Glendale, California

Tiffany's Tailoring was a HUGE life saver after another tailor totally ripped me off and made horrible alterations to an expensive wool suit I needed to wear to an upcoming wedding. The seamstress was so kind and was able to fix my botched pants and blazer in just a couple of days. And when I realized the length of the pants was still wrong (not her fault!), she had me come in and shortened the pants on the spot. They looked perfect! She also helped my husband whose tux had been badly altered as well. Finding a tailor you can trust is harder than I realized!! I'm so glad to have found Tiffany's Tailoring and will definitely be returning. Thank you so much! read more

I'm 5'2" so my pants always need to be hemmed. I found Tiffany's via a Google search. I was really impressed with the quality of stitching. My mom used to be a seamstress so I'm particular with the types of stitching. I'm a huge fan of overlock stitching, double stitched seams and double top stitches done properly. Google these stitchings! These details matter when it comes to ironing or how clothes will lay while worn. The pricing is fair for the quality. I plan on coming back for other alterations. Try to pay cash if possible. There's 1-2 parking spots in the back but it's a one way exit/entrance and it's a tight squeeze. Try to park on the street if possible. read more

Tiffany's Tailoring & Cleaning - Hemmed scrub bottoms and waist taken in - Sewing & Alterations Near Me - Glendale, California

I am so FURIOUS. I took my daughter's sweet 16 dress for a cleaning. I received a receipt stating that they were going to charge me $35. I was surprised by that price but accepted it. I went today to pick it up. I gave the lady my card thinking that it was going to be the price she quoted me at. She changed my card $170!!! Not even close to what she originally stated. I asked why did she charge me so much more. She stated it was a big dress. I responded, that I understood it was a big dress and that if it was going to cost a lot more money then what she quoted, she should have called me and informed me. She said she asked her assistant to call me since she took the dress, which is a lie since she was the one that receivedthe dress.. Neither the owner or her assistant called me. She is the owner it is her responsibility to make sure things are communicated. Owner did not take responsibility for anything. All she could say is that I'm sorry. Well I'm not sorry for not going back. SO IF YOU WANT A TAILOR OR A DRY CLEANING COMPANY THAT IS HONEST, DON'T BRING YOUR BUSINESS HERE, THEY LIE AND THEN DONT TAKE RESPONSIBILITY OR ACCOUNTABILITY FOR THIER MISTAKES. read more

We are nothing but impressed! Our daughter has a presentation ball and the attention to detail on her alterations has been amazing! Highly highly recommend! read more

Had an excellent experience having my husband's pants tailored here. The alterations were done smoothly - you couldn't even tell the difference between the store bought seams and the after shop results. The price was fair and it only took them a couple of days to get the job done. Will be back! read more

This place is awesome and very accommodating. I called within hours of their closing on a Saturday to see if they could squeeze in a same day alteration for a dress my daughter was wearing to a bat mitzvah that night. Not only did they make it happen and do an amazing job, but they were incredibly sweet. We will definitely be back. Thank you again! read more

Tiffany was great! I needed a dress hemmed in less than a week and she got it done both quickly and perfectly. I found the price to be fair, not too cheap but not too much either. Parking is tight, but it's free and right next door. I would recommend read more

I went there for a last minute tailor and the lady, which I believe is the owner was so nice. She was close to closing hours and decided to help me. She said me! I was talking an early flight and needed my gown cut. I highly recommend this place. She was fast and did a great job. read more

This was my first time ever getting something tailored and I get really nervous doing something new, but the ladies here were really nice and made everything easy for me. I had ordered a cosplay that was too small on my arms but fit everywhere else and I tried to alter it myself, but I ended up just messing it up really bad. Luckily I remembered seeing a good review about this place on Instagram from one of my favorite artists and they did not disappoint. I told them what I needed and tried on the pre-altered cosplay and they were able to know exactly how much space I needed in the arms without even measuring (they are fr pros). I was able to pick it up within a week and when I tried it on it was perfect! You cant even tell it was altered and I'm ready to slay at Anime Expo read more

Tiffany's Tailoring & Cleaning - new, tailored cosplay - Sewing & Alterations Near Me - Glendale, California

Rating based on pricing policy and service. They do a great job but I was quoted $28 to dry clean two jackets and upon pickup she let know the total was actually $40 and that she misquoted me during drop off. I also remember clarifying that both were $28 to dry clean and she confirmed. Now she is saying that the material is heavier and the pricing was given to her by a different company that's used for dry cleaning??? Total lies. That is simply shady and I won't be returning. Huge rip off. read more

Tiffany's Tailoring is the best!! She took a last minute request for us & got it done within 24 hours! She is amazing & was very accommodating. We asked her to sew 2 large pieces of fabric together that we used for a backdrop for a photoshoot! Her craftsman ship was impeccable! We couldn't believe it! it wasn't an easy job, but she did it without any complaints & a great positive attitude. She will be getting our business from here on out! read more

I first went to Tiffany's with the odd task of having two dog beds reupholstered. They were so kind and the work was so well done that I started coming in to get my clothes tailored. I've now consistently been using Tiffany's for over a year and they have done so much great work for me. Most recently, they helped me turn an oversized button-up shirt into TWO great halter tops. They are such sweet people and they do great work for a reasonable price and on an impressive time frame. Couldn't recommend them more! read more

This is the ONLY place my lady trusts to get her dresses tailored, and my dress clothes dry cleaned. Fast, friendly and reliable services! I may be a buffoon at times, but hey, my suits are CLEAN! read more

Thanks to Tiffany's Tailoring I was able to save and enjoy some of my favorite pieces of clothing. Frida is wonderful, so creative, knowledgeable, sweet and honest. I'm also happy with their cleaning services. The prices and turn around timing are very reasonable. read more

I had my shirt hemmed here. I noticed one of the sleeves was not sewed on properly and left a nasty hole. I know it was from here because I haven't used the shirt. I used to like Tiffany's because they were quick and inexpensive. Now I'm regretting why I ever came. They ruined my shirt! As for the price, I was charged $13 for the hem. There's another tailoring place on Broadway which cost me $26 for hemming a shirt, but the quality is a mile away compared to Tiffany's. I don't ever have to worry about getting my shirts messed up. I'm never coming here again and I advise all you men out there not to bring anything expensive or anything you love here to be altered. You run the risk of ruining your clothes, seriously! read more

I ordered some graduation stoles from a website online, but after several days of waiting, they still had not come in. (I was scammed) The morning of my graduation, I rushed to Joann's and found some fabric. I called several places but no one would agree to having it done that day. BUT THEN!!! When I called Tiffany, she wasn't sure what a graduation stole was but still she said "let me take a look at what you want" I knew graduation stoles werent a common request but she managed to get it done in an hour! (ALL SHE HAD WAS A PICTURE TO USE FOR REFERENCE--no physical sample) I grabbed some iron on letters from michaels and went back to her and we worked on it together. She did it at a VERY reasonable price and I know that it was because she saw I was a kid and knew I had already spent money on the stoles that had never come in. She is absolutely amazing and I will be back for absolutely anything I need altered or clean. She is a very very sweet woman and I am so happy I called her. Thank you so much!!! read more

This review is not in response to their work but their customer service. I walked into their shop and the lady seemed very cold towards me. She said hello and just kinda stood there. I gave her my items of clothing and explained to her what I wanted done and she pretty much didn't say anything. All conversations were initiated by me. I then asked should I go try the items on and she said I needed to wait for another woman who was n the dressing room so I said ok and sat down to wait. About 10 mins goes by and a man walks in with some clothes and she greets him with a smile on her face and he says he needs tailoring on some items and she has him try them on immediately. Initially, I was annoyed because I had already been waiting so long but then I realized he didn't need the fitting room because he could slip the jackets on over his clothes so I got over it. Then the lady that was n the dressing room comes out and the seamstress tells the man who walked in AFTER ME to go in and try on his clothes. I asked why is he going in before me that's not right and she says "o he only has one item to try on in there it will be quick and you have three, yours will take longer." At that point I just got up and walked out. I sat there for over 10 mins waiting for the woman in the room to come out and another customer walks in AFTER ME and gets to go before me?? So how long was I supposed to wait 20 mins 30 mins?? As opposed to him waiting for me the same way I had to wait on the woman who was there before me?? It was very rude!! The energy was bad in there and I felt like she didn't care how I felt and my time was of no value at all. read more

If I ever need dry cleaning this is the first place I'll always go to. They're so responsible and their work is done very clean. Besides dry cleaning, there's been numerous times I visited their shop to fix my jeans that fit too big on the waist, or too long on me. Many of my dresses were adjusted at this shop as well because they're the only ones I trust my clothes with. Their customer service exceeds expectations and once again, always clean work is done, at a convenient cost. read more

Excellent spot for dress tailoring!! I brought two dresses here to be tailored, one a bridesmaid dress for a friends wedding and the other MY WEDDING DRESS for my own wedding. I decided to try it out based on the reviews and its proximity to my job. There is a full dressing room inside with 3 mirrors and Seda also does dry cleaning so there are racks of clothes waiting to be picked up inside. It was a bit crammed and honestly things seemed a little disorganized at first, however after she worked on my first dress it was clear she knew exactly what she was doing. The first dress turned out just right. Then I decided to bring in my wedding dress. I needed a standard alteration plus I wanted all of the beading changed. She was able to get the alterations done, add the beading, and have me in for two fittings within a month which was surprising to me based on the number of orders in her shop that I could see she was working on. I will absolutely be back here for all of my tailoring needs. read more
