Mohammed Khan came to my home to set up my somewhat complex stereo and speaker system with many…read moredifferent and diverse components. After spending almost 3 hours unsuccessfully trying to connect various components and speakers and screwing up the soundbar connected to my smart TV, Mohammed left with a promise to return the next day to fix the problems he had caused and complete the job. That was more than a week ago. Since then he has completely failed to respond to any of my emails, text messages or voicemails. Fortunately, I was able to hire another company, Aura Smart Spaces, to fix the mess that Mr. Khan had created and left me with. They were able to straighten out all of the problems he caused and properly connect all of my components in about 2 hours and for a much more reasonable price. Because of his incompetence and his complete ghosting of me when I tried to get him to complete the job as promised, I would never hire or recommend Khan Design to anyone.

He spent about an hour with me to survey the job and then delivered his quote which was spot on despites some unforeseen anomalies with our house which we know is old and unfortunately, not always up to code. Nothing seemed to ruffle him as he found positive workarounds to each issue, vetting each one with us. The end result completely exceeded our expectation. Ken really delivered and although I think he is an IT/Home Theatre savant, more importantly, he's a good person who is a kind and thoughtful of others. Best money ever spent!

The job itself took four hours, exactly the time commitment James said it would. He was wonderful throughout; professional, courteous and meticulous in his craft. I couldn't be more pleased with the finished results and already working with James to bring him back into our home soon for speaker installation in a few other rooms. I owned all the equipment, just needed them to run 5.1 speaker wire, wall mount some speakers and wall mount a flat screen TV. Needless to say, my expectations were exceeded. They not only fished great lengths of speaker wire over a ceiling without having to cut a single hole in anything, but programmed everything to work flawlessly. We've been enjoying that home theater ever since. They were so good, I hired them again to install a new flat panel and a Sonos Playbar in our master bedroom. This time a few things happened that I didn't expect. John reached out for feedback the day after the install and I let him know what I wasn't quite happy with (placement of the Playbar wasn't as ideal as I had wanted and removal of a cable I didn't expect them to remove). Maybe it was my fault for not supervising as closely as I should have, but no matter... John offered to have his guy back within a week to make it right. Sometimes things don't go 100% and making it right without a hassle is what sets the great apart from the good. Needless to say, these guys are great.
