Trilogy Fiberglass Atlas

The following is an honest and fair review of Prestige Pools. Prestige installed a Trilogy Atlas Fiberglass pool for our house in 2016. I will start with the strengths: -Brian (salesperson), is AMAZING! Brian has probably heard it all, and has gone to bat for us when needed. Brian also provided terrific insight, and didn't just try to upsell us on things we didn't need. -Quality: after hearing some post installation horror stories, and seeing other pools built, I have no doubt Prestige's work was top of the line (at least for our pool). We have some mystery footprints on the bottom of our pool that appeared during installation, but by the time the project was completed, we were kind of over it. -Water samples: Prestige does a great job of providing water readings. There's been a few times I've gone in for a reading, and the machine has been down, but it's computerized, so just a quirk of technology. Now for the negatives: -Project management is not a strong point for Prestige. We were told our pool would be ready to swim July 4, it was in the ground a July 4, but definitely not swim ready (filtration system wasn't ready, etc), not even close. We never knew if a crew would be out, it was always a mystery trying to find out if they would be on-site for the day. There's lots of moving parts in a pool installation, and Prestige could benefit from having someone on staff with project management experience. -Communication: some people at Prestige are wonderful, others not so much. At one point we had shipping/packaging from pool parts left on the side of our house. Someone at the store tried to blame the packaging on utility companies as there were utility flags near the boxes/trash. The utility flags were from marking lines in the ground. Would I use Prestige again? Probably. Would I ever go through putting in a pool again? Probably not.

We ordered and received a Marquis Vector V84 Spa with the assistance of Paul and Chad at Prestige. First, the spa is fantastic - I'm a bargain shopper by nature, but I'm so glad I didn't order a cheap, plastic spa from a box store. The Marquis Vector is beautiful, the jets are strong, and it has been a welcome addition to our screened in patio. Paul is very knowledgeable and does his best so you make an informed decision without pressure. Chad has been more than helpful in the "start up process" of getting our spa hooked up correctly and the chemicals balanced well. I highly recommend Prestige for the customer service alone, and I love my Marquis spa.

Not to mention late delivery on a spa that was ordered 10 months in advance. Then the wrong cover lifter was delivered as well as incorrect chemicals. One headache after another. So disappointed with Mirage Spa--there are so many others I should have purchased.

I was we aware the Spa did not have power as it was tripping the breaker. They did not bother to test why it did not have power, simply unplugging power from the board it would then have power. Besides having the highest service call price in town, they look for anyway not to diagnose a problem and just receive the service call fee. I called spoke to office they said they would look into it, never received a call back and was charged $150 dollars for "NO" diagnostics. Poor customer service and poor technicians. I hope this reaches at least one potential customer to avoid this frustration and loss.

Angi went over all the details of the contract before I signed it - including what parts/pieces were included, how much extra any add ons (like the heat pump and end to end cover) would cost as well as the delivery via crane truck (included in price) and length of time for availability of the swim spa from the factory. We ordered an 18 foot swim spa in chocolate which they said might take longer as it wasn't as commonly ordered but we actually received it earlier than expected. Brian's team is exceptional, helping us with a myriad of technical questions. We bought this particular swim spa for physical therapy and water quality control. The water at public gyms pools and spas cause severe skin irritation for family members - the Master Spa circulation system along with chemicals used for this unit WORKS FOR US! It's such a blessing to have ability to swim again, especially since the buoyancy afforded by water is the ONLY physical therapy available to my husband. I chose Master Spa for the quality reputation and so far I am not disappointed after a summer of use. I chose Spas & More for their service support - they have exceeded my expectations! We had a tough installation (no fault of theirs) - they stood by me, they were loyal and because of that they have my business and my recommendation. I highly recommend Spas & More.

I ran by R and S, and they were able to give me the insight I needed, the part to replace and the pool chemicals I needed to kick this algeas butt. Pricing was on par with Amazon, but I didn't have to wait two days to get the parts and chemicals. With algea you don't have time to sit with your thumb up your butt, you need it fixed right then, and right now!!! Gotta support these local businesses because pool and spa supply just cannot be an online only business. Try them out, utilize their expertise and keep the patronage going so you always have a helping hand when it comes to pool maintenance!!!

I hate giving bad reviews but this is the 3rd year R&S has opened my pool with consistent issues…read more (they close it as well). So third strike.. I've gotta find someone better!! We never see the same techs returning. And we've had issues every single year. It's like they hire new guys each summer and they're clueless. Last year I was told by a tech, he "didn't know the system." This year the pressure valve on the filter was left open, I had a pressure code on my heater (so it was not functional) because I had no pressure to the system with the valve open! I found one of my jet covers in 2 pieces in the middle of the pool. A plug was left on the ground by the system. My pool entry handle is so loose, I've got to tighten it. The system was not primed properly, done with such little water the box was smoking hot when we opened it. I'm thankful I didn't loose a motor. I've called with a couple of questions trying to troubleshoot these issue but was given some bad information. He gave me an electrician's number for the heaters PS code?? I'm sorry they can be the nicest people but this is their profession, not mine. I shouldn't have to go behind them to fix things that are wrong and effecting pool operations or done with little to no care of correct outcomes. Especially for what is charged. I would think a pool opening includes ensuring the system is functioning correctly and if something is not, then notify the owner before driving away. Which they never do check out and let us know how it went or any issues that need addressing. The process is piss poor to say the least.
