    I hired Total Mechanical Systems for a full HVAC installation and paid a $15,000 deposit based on…read morethe assurance that the job would be completed in one day. Instead, what followed was one of the most disorganized and frustrating service experiences I've ever had. The installation was not completed as promised, and I later learned that it had never actually been finished--despite no one informing me. When I returned home and turned on the system, it immediately overheated and shut down. There were clear signs of installation issues, including loud hissing from a connection and unsealed holes in the exterior walls. From that point forward, I had to repeatedly chase the company just to receive basic service. On multiple occasions, I was told I wasn't even on the schedule. There was no proactive communication, no coordination, and no clear ownership of the problem. Over the course of several weeks, I had: 10 separate service visits 8 different technicians Multiple failed attempts to diagnose and fix the issue One installer admitted he had never worked on this type of system before. Another later explained that the refrigerant had been improperly handled during installation, requiring the system to be reset entirely. In addition to the technical failures, the condition of my home after installation was unacceptable. Dog waste was tracked inside and left there, materials were scattered without explanation, and parts of the work were left visibly unfinished. Most concerning, a technician entered my home without permission while I was away and left an exterior door wide open. Even after escalating the issue to management, resolution was slow and required constant follow-up on my part. I effectively had to manage the entire process myself. After investing nearly $28,000 in this system, I was left with weeks of disruption, uncertainty about the system's reliability, and a level of service that fell far below any reasonable expectation. This experience reflects serious issues with quality control, communication, and accountability.

    Tower Energy's website says: "You won't run out of fuel on Automatic Delivery". I ran out of oil…read morethis weekend, twice! We have an automatic refill contract with Tower and they were unable to completely fill our tank last delivery and promised to return to fill the remainder, "soon". Ultimately, they never came back and our tank ran dry leaving us without heat on a Friday in February. I contacted Tower and spoke with the manager. His response to the situation was dismissive, saying there is no need for a filter change or a system check, these run outs "happen all the time". In a situation like this, when a company fails to meet their guarantee, the expectation is the company will go out of its way to remedy it; regardless of the severity. But to have two consecutive failures is simply pathetic. showing a lack of integrity and no desire to stand by their guarantee. Tower Energy has 2.7-star rating on Yelp with 7 reviews in total, 4 of which are 1 star with a detailed explanation of their unique situation. The 1-star reviews had a common thread of Tower not fulfilling their contractual obligation, very similar to my recent experience. I would read the others as well I cannot recommend Tower Energy and advise against it. Research into customer experiences elsewhere.

    I recently ordered 100 gallons of oil for my tanks before the big snow storm we had. We were told…read moreit would get delivered before the storm and then kept getting pushed back. (no big deal we understood they were busy) When they did finally show up the next week they they said they couldn't get the cap off to put the oil in and left. my husband got home and tried and the cap came right off without any elbow grease. they said they would be back the next day. They showed up the next day (Friday) and put the oil in. Well my husband pulled the driveway in from work as they were finishing and had to wait for their truck in the driveway for what seemed like a while for only 100 gallons. As soon as he pulled away my husband went down stairs to our double oil tanks and saw the man filled both tanks. (Over 400 gallons) he immediately called the office and was directed to the emergency line because the were now closed for the weekend. We left a message with the emergency line operator and he said he would let the office know Monday. We told him thank you and by all means come take the oil back. Our original receipt says the order is for 100 gallons and the rate we ordered it at. Our card was charged the following week for that amount and we recieved a confirmation email. I go to check the mail and now have an additional bill for $1,600 for the additional amount at a higher rate. my husband called right away and explained the scenario again to the front desk lady who said they had no idea. She said a manager would call. No manager called, but we did receive a very rude and nasty call from a front desk lady today trying to tell us we need to pay our outstanding balance. My husband explained to her, AGAIN....We were over charged because we only ordered a certain amount and according to her that's not their fault it's our responsibility. He said I would like to speak to a manager, so she put him on hold then came back and said he will be calling you and hung up on my husband. This whole experience has just been terrible with this company. We have told them plenty of times mistakes happen we get it, please come take your oil back. Now to have an attitude with us this is uncalled for.

    The techs were both very nice, I did the install myself and it went great, I accidently bumped a…read morefitting and had a small leak so I needed them to come out to recover the freon, pressurize the system and recharge it...the best they could do was almost $1,500...actually the first estimate was over $2,200, then the 2nd estimate was abou $1,700, then the final estimate was for the about $1,500...for less than 2lbs of freon...that is absolutely unacceptable, I'll just buy another one and reinstall it for literally less than 1/4 of the price of that highway robbery. I understand the "cost of doing business" but that is absolutely absurd. This should cost no more than maybe 500-600 at the absolute most. They could've left with 500-600 and instead they left with 122 because this business is extremely overpriced. But again the techs were very nice and friendly. --Techs would get 5 stars..you can tell they get this response quite abit. --The pricing is the 1 star, it's far past the point of price gouging and I made sure I was right before posting this by having a couple other estimates (those were free estimates by the way, the fact this was paid should've been a red flag. that part is my fault.

    Waited 8 hours for plumber to arrive to install a garbage disposal. Zero phone calls. Then plumber…read morearrives and tells me it will cost $900 dollars to install. (they won't quote a job ahead of time...so they've really got you once they arrive). When I complained about the quote, the plumber walked out. Is anyone else getting conned here ?
