I wonder if he charged me overtime since he was there past his regular hours. (Their fault) I will use them again for maintaining my furnace but I will probably shop around for another plumber.

They have been out several times to "fix" it. All they have done is unplug and reset it. There is a terribly annoying beep that keeps going off every time we get a new error. It hasn't been right since install and now they want me to pay to have them come look at it because the labor warranty has expired. I get it and if this was a new issue I would have zero problems in paying them to come out, however that is not the case. These visits were all related to the same issue - the system did not function properly to maintain the desired air temperature, particularly in the summer months. As the HVAC system installed was still malfunctioning, and we learned that the warranty was held by Bosch and did not require us to use our original installer, in May 2026 we decided to call another company we located due to their familiarity with Bosch systems to come look at the system. This new company was so appalled by the mess of the state of the wiring of the system and our prior experiences trying to have this issue resolved through Superior HVAC and Tank Removal that they did not bill us for their initial diagnostic visits. This new team immediately determined that the main power board on the inverter was fried and ordered a replacement part, which they recently installed. The system has been working perfectly ever since. What we're left wondering is why it took another company 45 minutes to immediately diagnose and correct (what seemed to them to be) a clear malfunctioning part in our Bosch inverter, when Superior HVAC and Tank Removal not only installed the system, but then also visited our property no fewer than 5 times (and we have been billed for 4/5 of those visits) and and failed to diagnose nor fix the correct issue? We do not wish to continue business with Superior HVAC and Tank Removal in the future given these experiences.

He was the first to respond and I let him go ahead and replace the air handler blower and add Freon for about $2000. The original blower was a Lennox. He replaced it with an ECM variable speed blower and he gave me no warranty. He just said "call me and I'll take care of you." The system failed within 10 days and I called him repeatedly with no response. Finally, I used my wife's cell phone and he picked up. He came and jump-started the system and charged me $261 for what should have been a free follow-up. So today 5-18-26 the blower was unresponsive the first time I used it this year. It did not last even 2 years. I called him to ask about a possible warranty but got no response. I ended up calling another contractor who installed a non-variable speed blower which came with a 4-year warranty and cost less than half the price to install. This kind is a way better option but for some reason Troy did not offer me the option.
