When the tech left unit was working great, this lasted for less than 6 hours, mind you I paid over $300 for an hour and half service. Called the guy who serviced my unit same night (Friday), got no answer and no call return. Called Campbell Cooling today Monday 3/2 spoke w/ Jamie. Very unprofessional. Was yelling at me, cutting me off mid-sentence, couldn't complete one sentence without interruption. Today I am being told replace the entire unit quoted $8k. Friday I was told I needed 3 parts. What changed between Friday & Monday? I will never recommend this company to anyone. Sad part is my call today was to see if someone can come and take another look and possibly replace the 3 parts I was told I needed, after today's interaction NO THANKS

Based on my experience with them on two occasions, I would give them a 5 star rating…read more Bosse Heating and Air Conditioning was recommended to me for my annual oil burner service. It had been about 3 years or so since I had the last service done by an oil company I no longer use. I called Bosse, created an appointment on a Saturday (WOW - those appointments usually get filled quick!) and waited for the day to arrive. They were scheduled to arrive between 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. They arrived around 8:30 which was perfect. On time. :-) He spent a good portion of the time just vacuuming out all the soot, etc. since it had been so long since I had it cleaned. (Yes, MY fault.) He then replaced the filter, the nozzle, etc and took a final efficiency reading (82% - which is great!) Price was reasonable and I was extremely happy that he took the time to clean it correctly, even though it was my fault it was so dirty. I tried to give him a tip for putting him through that but he wouldn't accept it. So I thought that would be the end of it until next year, when I will hire them to clean it again. I was wrong. Two days later I was doing my monthly sump pump testing (in the same area as the boiler) by filing the sump pit with water from a hose attached to the Amtrol Water Tank Bladder. Well, I opened up the valve too quickly and the water pressure whipped the hose out of the sump pit and it liberally soaked the entire boiler before I could get it shut off (and we're only talking about 2 seconds here). The water must have fried the electronics (the relay unit) because the boiler stopped working. I shut off power, removed the unit and dried as much of it off as I could but it didn't work. My boiler was down for the count. I called Bosse again and explained the situation. They told me that they are super busy and backed up with service calls because winter is approaching. But they would try to get someone out to look at it. About 2 hours later she called back and said they were still looking. Ten minutes later their truck pulled into my driveway! Woo Hoo! They came in and diagnosed it as a bad relay unit due to "water damage" i.e. my fault. We had a chuckle about that and he promptly replaced the unit. All is fine again and the boiler is working perfectly again. And I vowed to never try to wash and wax my boiler again! So two thumbs up to Bosse!

The person I spoke with on the phone was incredibly kind and understanding. The technician who arrived was very nice, professional, and extremely helpful. The entire experience was smooth and stress-free. Since the visit, my furnace has been running quietly with no more strange noises. Best of all, the maintenance service was under $200, which felt very reasonable given the quick response and quality of service. I received a text from Scott, the owner saying he'd be reaching out soon. Shortly after we spoke on the phone and I told him the symptoms of my system which is an old Trane(it's hard to stop a Trane). Right away he knew what to look for and said he would make it tonight and I jokingly said "we're up until midnight"... Well sometimes after 7: 00 pm I got a text saying they are on their way. They showed up and with no hesitation. Went right to the system and started analyzing. They found what was wrong within a couple of minutes and immediately started to do the repair. I had my lady go inside and turn the AC on and boom the compressor kicked on as it should have which is the unit outside the house that was kicking on and off.
