Some electricians couldn't even guarantee an appointment 3 days ahead others didn't call when they said they would. I appreciated that JS Electrical was able to give me an appointment time and then calling to confirm. Who has time to deal with a "possibly able to make it" company? Last weekend, I had some circuit breakers melted which were caused by the load of my electric baseboards. It tripped the outside breaker which caused several neighbors to go out of power as well. CL&P came out to restore the power very quickly, but they told me that they had to pull my meter out, and I would need to get an electrician to check my main panel ASAP as there was something wrong there. I called JS Electrical pretty early in the morning, and I got to speak with Justin, and he came out to my house within an hour. (AVAILABILITY) He was the 3rd guy I called, but the first one to be able to speak with so I gave him a try, and I'm glad that I did. Justin came out, my first impression was that he told his time to listen to what was wrong, and was able to quickly identify the problem. (KNOWLEDGEABLE & COMPETENT) He was also patient to explain to me what he had to do, and what the charges would be. (COURTEOUS & HONEST). About an hour after Justin completed the job and left for other clients, I found some weird problems of not having enough power. I called Justin, and he did listen carefully my description and came back the same day to correct the problems (WARRANTY). It turned out that the meter outside was not pushed in all the way when he did that the first time. I ended up learning a few things from Justin too. We picked Justin from the Internet when looking for an electrician. My husband read the reviews and they were all good so we felt confident about hiring him. We have actually used him twice in 2 weeks as we are having our kitchen done and we had a few minor issues plus the installation of a ceiling fan. He is courteous, neat and punctual! Justin is super friendly and trustworthy. He shows up on time and when scheduled. We had something go wrong at 8pm on Friday night, and he was at the house at 10am Saturday morning! I have a whole house generator that failed. I tried contacting several contractors, none of whom were able to assist me in a timely manner. I then found JS Electrical and called. I spoke with the owner Justin and explained my issue. He told me that he would check his schedule and call me back within 5 minutes which he did. Justin told me that he could come out within the next 20 minutes or so and quoted me his rates. Justin and his co-worker arrived at my residence as stated. He was able to quickly isolate the problem with my generator and had it running within 30 minutes of his arrival. We lost our power last week and our generator never kicked on. I called JS Electrical at 6:30am expecting to leave a message with the emergency response operator. I was pleasantly surprised when Justin picked up the phone and told me he could be at my house to service my generator within an hour! When Justin arrived, he was professional, thorough, and he was able to repair our generator in a short period of time. Justin also did a great job explaining why our generator wasn't working, and he provided suggestions how to prevent future mishaps from occurring.
