Entryway, setting the good neighborhood vibe.
    Jill A.

My husband and I came here tonight (a Wednesday evening) and even though it was almost 90 degrees outside we sat on their patio. We ordered a couple of margaritas, and while we looked over the food menu, they brought us a complimentary order of their pretzel bread bites with whipped herb butter, which was really tasty. We saw that this was offered on their menu as a side and it was so good that we thought maybe they delivered it to the wrong table by mistake. However our server confirmed that this is just a complimentary welcome dish they give to every table. How nice! We then ordered the smash burger and the Mac and cheese to share. We asked if they could cut the burger in half and they did that. The food was fantastic. My husband called it "standard bar food, but on a higher level." The burger came with an order of terrific battered seasoned fries that are light and crispy, and the Mac and cheese was cooked well with a REAL cheese sauce with nice cheese pull. I've had a lot of restaurant Mac and cheese (one of my favorites) with tasteless, runny, clumpy or even worse - broken, oily cheese sauce, and this was Mac done right. Service was efficient and friendly. We had a great dinner and were so happy with everything. We are not into sports at all but we would definitely eat here again.

We decided to give this place a try, and overall, I came away impressed. I ordered the rigatoni, and it was excellent. The light lemony sauce gave the dish a fresh, bright flavor that really stood out without being overpowering. I also had a martini, and it was made perfectly. A special shout-out to Jessie, our server. She was warm, attentive, and made us feel welcome throughout the evening. I remember when this location was Bar Louie, and it's clear they've invested in updating the space. The renovations look great, and the restaurant feels much more polished. There's also a nice outdoor bistro area, although it was simply too humid for us to enjoy it that evening. The one thing that left a bad impression was when we arrived with reservations. We were initially directed to what felt like an isolated room that honestly reminded us of someone's kitchen, while there were other tables available in the main dining area. As people of color, it didn't sit well with us. Thankfully, my colleague spoke up and requested a table in the main dining room, and we were accommodated. I'm not saying there was any intent behind it, but first impressions matter, and I hope management is mindful that seating decisions can affect how guests feel. As a Yelp Elite reviewer, I believe in being honest--both about what a restaurant does well and where it can improve. That said, the food, drinks, and service were outstanding, and those positives made for a very enjoyable dining experience overall. This would of gotten a 4 star but the way they tried to stick us in a room didnt work out well in their favor.

Excellent service from Jordan. I've been here several times now and she's always been my person and she's awesome. She makes great recommendations and is very attentive and kind. It's such a fun and lively sports bar! So many screens and viewing options, including an upstairs lounge and an outdoor patio. The food is fantastic! Elevated pub food and high quality ingredients. It's my favorite chicken Caesar wrap in the city so far. The croutons stay crunchy and the chicken is perfect. The fries are soooooooo good! Really well seasoned and crispy. The Cajun skirt steak with chimichurri sauce is amazing! So tender and flavorful. The fish & chips are very tasty too, and the hot spinach and artichoke dip is a fun starter. They also give you complimentary bread/pretzel bites and butter when you arrive. So good! The smash burger is delicious as well, and the mini beignets with a chocolate dipping sauce for dessert are fabulous!!!! They do everything well here! They have happy hour deals, including a late night happy hour on weekends from 10pm until 1am. They also have weekend brunch. Great drinks too! I have enjoyed cocktails and mocktails here. So far my favorite cocktails are the espresso martini and The Blue Line, a fun rum and Curacao drink. It's so smooth going down! My favorite mocktail is Off The Record, which is bubbly and made with lychee and lavender. Located on the lower level of the Dearborn Station in Printer's Row, I highly recommend coming here. I love how popular it is. It tends to be busy so I recommend making a reservation.

My husband and I came here with our 3 year old and we absolutely loved it! The pretzel bites with the garlic herb butter were delicious. We split the smash burger and chicken Caesar wrap. We have been wanting to try this spot for a while and I must say that this is an excellent addition to the neighborhood!

When we saw Pressbox was opening and peeked through the window, the space looked light, fresh, and inviting. We were excited to finally have a sports bar with real ambiance. We headed over to watch FIFA, and the place did not disappoint. The design is sharp, and there are big TVs almost everywhere you look. The game audio was on, which we loved. It really feels like an upscale sports bar. The bartenders were attentive, and the food was genuinely good, definitely not your typical bar fare. Drinks were solid too.

A great addition to the neighborhood!!! My pulled pork sandwich and fries were amazing and I loved that they have a gluten free bun! My only feedback would be to include the gf bun on their menu, we almost didn't come because I didn't know they had one! Overall really great place to sit at the bar and catch a game with some good food and drinks!

I grew up going to Bar Louie, the previous restaurant, and loved the atmosphere. I came in to see how they remodeled and it looks amazing! I ordered a Chili Pulled Pork sandwich and it was absolutely delicious. The host Keiran was so sweet and friendly, and the Bartenders made sure I was taken care of. Will be frequently visiting!

Terrible food. TERRIBLE SERVICE.Have been here twice and bad experiences both times. I won't be back.

Absolutely love this place! So happy it's in my neighborhood! I have been here on several occasions and the food is always 1000/10!!! Last nights server Rita was phenomenal! She has such a great personality and service was superb! Can't recommend this place enough!!!

Glad to have a new place in the neighborhood. Wife and I had our meal on their dog friendly patio. The service was good, they are still new and working out some kinks. They need someone to clear the tables on a more regular basis as our desert came out before our plates were bussed. Overall, good experience. Looking forward to our next visit.

I think there were some kind of corporate happy hour happening in the back, but a friend and myself just came in for quick drinks. I usually don't drink on the weekdays, so I ended up just getting an iced tea and him a tequila soda, but because I don't drink, we decided to get an appetizer and we browsed the menu for a minute and ended up splitting the Parmesan chicken egg rolls. Truthfully, I really just wanted to see what that would entail because it seemed a little disgusting or maybe even some kind of high-food, but to my surprise, it was actually a really crispy skinned pizza roll. I'm pretty sure it had been previously frozen, but in that moment- served with a side of marinara, I didn't really care. It was full of gooey melted mozzarella cheese and almost like a breaded chicken nugget center. Pretty decent as far as bar food goes. They also had crab rangoon to which I thought, "hmm are they doing a little too much?!" I'm sure drunk me would have gotten them years ago so what can ya do. Overall, quite a positive experience. The bartender was really sweet and everything wasn't super expensive. I've been in the neighborhood for such a long time, but I've actually never been here and I'm glad I came on a night that it wasn't chaotic.

I enjoyed the sports bar vibe with nicer food. My favorite dish was the Wagyu burger, but the wings were a close second. They were fried perfectly and the honey habanero was drizzled over them, creating a lovely depth of flavor - especially with their homemade ranch. The Caesar salad was good, but tasted a little like it had the cheap Parmesan on it from the can. The short ribs were also tasty, but a bit on the chewier side than I would have liked. They do have a few mocktail options for $8 each (very affordable). I really enjoyed my cucumber mocktail! Would highly recommend for anyone visiting Pilsen!

Since I was looking for something more casual, this place came up as a suggestion online. It's a small bar and I didn't notice a sign out front that had the restaurant name, that's something maybe they should consider. But overall, it appeared to be newly renovated, and had all of the Chicago sports teams decor throughout which I liked. I was pleasantly surprised to find out it was a Black owned bar, which was another plus for me. On Mondays, they have $10 wings, and it's a pretty good deal because they give you really nice sized wings. My only critique is that the wings themselves weren't seasoned so the sauce had to do a lot of of the heavy lifting for flavor. But the chicken was cooked perfectly! Lastly the other small issue I had was that it was freezing cold in the bar. I'm not sure if it's due to insulation or because of the type of windows they had installed, but it was absolutely freezing and that almost took away from the experience, nonetheless, this is certainly a place that I would try again during the warmer months.

We each received 5 drink tickets and 2 meal tickets. In addition to the fact that we wiped the floor with Kansas, we met some really nice fans from Chicago. They made our visit so much fun, filled with endless laughter and a great time. It was a nice mix of young and older folks like us and the young people were so respectful and friendly. It truly was a pleasant surprise. They gave us their bar stools with backs so that we would be comfortable. That usually was a more heated rivalry when Angel Reese was playing against Caitlin Clark, but after the Sophie Cunningham/Carrington situation, this was certainly heated! But this is SO not about that. I had wanted to come here for a while, but it is very far from where I am; I was able to coordinate a visit to Market Days later, so it worked out. We arrived in time to watch some of the Women's professional baseball game in Springfield as well. We took our seats at a table with chairs near some of the many tvs. (I did not want to do the long bench, it did not look comfortable). There were no waitstaff walking around, ordering was through the bar, and water was in a big Igloo container. We knew in advance there was no food, so we brought our own. We found out later they have a microwave when we smelled popcorn! Good to know for next time. There was a slight glitch with the tvs; at some point, Men's Golf was on! Of course they changed it up asap. We were hoping to watch part of the WNBA and the Women's baseball at the same time on the 2 tvs near our table, but they only moved it to one tv that we had to crane to see. I get one has to go with what is popular, but the tv with the baseball did not have great reception. The drinks were good, I got sparkling wine and beer. My party got vodka drinks; the bathrooms are both gender neutral of course, with funky red or green lights, as well as a disco ball! That may be a bit much for some of us with vision problems or the color blind? They encourage one to take bathroom selfies with an Instagram handle on the mirror! That's..interesting. I loved the free feminine hygiene products as well, good looking out! I went to the patio to take pictures. There was not tv out there, but I am not sure if they move one there when there is overflow, or if it's just a socializing space away from tvs. It's nice, but the view is of other houses and parking lots. The bartenders were efficient and good, I may go back for WNBA semi finals or finals, or maybe a 'regular' women's sports occasion. We were fortunate that the crowd was moderate so service was good, but I worry if it becomes hectic when it gets super busy.
